The online reservation process was flawed as once we went to pickup the truck all the paperwork had to be redone. The location had no idea on how to process the online reservation. She blamed it on monthly updates and changes from Uhaul with no instructions on how to implement the changes. It took an additional 1 hour out of our scheduled move.Karla W.

Lady ran my card more than once was charged more than told plus was told no deposit needed. Had to pay a deposit paid 50 on card 50 cash yet to get either back. Had to detail inside of truck it was full of cat hair. I am allergic to cats. Sneezing and swollen eyes. Made my move unbearable at the least. Wasn't only stressed from having to move. Stressed bc was charged more and suddenly charged a deposit. Yet to get a dime back. Called and was hung up on. Had lady at drop off note about my swollen eyes. Emailed them too yet to hear back from them. Feeling down right outraged.Shelly P.
I rented a 6x12 trailer on Wednesday 5-23-20 and returned it on 5-24-20 the uhaul had a flat and I changed it with my own spare and called Swartz ahead of time to let them know what happened and she told me to return it and just take my spare off and no worries. Today 6-1-20 I wake up to a charge saying I rented the trailer for 5 days and an additional charge of 119.00 on top of the 39.99 I already paid, if there was an issue with the flat they should have called me before charging my card I paid for the extra insurance and didn't do me any good.CHRIS H.

Was charged for 21 miles over allowed mileage but truck had a half tank more gas in it then when picked up. 21 miles= $8.40....half tank of fuel =$40.00. Not to fair to customer. Allowed mileage should reflect from pickup point to house being moved from to new house to drop off. The agent was rude & unprodessional. When I lovked the kwys in the truck I turned to the agent for help & she promised to resilve it. A day & 1/2 later, the agent didnt resolve the issue. The equiptment was damaged, dirty & defective. After renting ut I learned the windshield wipers did not work & the key would not uock the passenger door. When I returned the vehicle ti this agent, she was extremely disrespectful & abusiveKatharine R.
I was left to hook up my trailer to my pickup by myself, which was not a problem. I was surprised that the wiring harness from the trailer to my pickup's plug was not included. The facility had a harness which they sold to me. Of the several UHaul rentals that I have had in the past, I have never had a trailer that didn't include the harness.Stephen E.

The location does not know how to do corporate rentals. I gave the original location "The building Store" 2 purchase order numbers to use in the res ervation of and rental process for 2 trucks. first, to get the equipment we reserved we had to go to ANOTHER location which was not nearly as convenient as the one next to our new store, then they tried to require a personal credit card to get the trucks. I now have received BILLS for the truck rentals!! The corporate P.O. numbers are 890853 and 890854. I am forwarding this incident to Dollar General Fleet Operations along with a recommendation to start using Ryder! WAY too much hassle! When we were ready to turn the truck in, we called the manager to let him know we were getting ready to return it to the sight. He was not friendly and very grumpy. When ask where to leave the key, he said to leave it under the mat, which there was no mat. We left it under the seat hoping it would be ok.EDDY A.

The only thing I didn't like about this was being charged another day since the truck was dropped off Sunday and I was charged for Monday. I had originally reserved it for two days, Saturday and sunday. Had he told me that I was going to get chareged another day for Monday, I would have taken it to another dealer that was open on Sunday. Other wise it was a good experiencec.GAROLD R.
