First when I came to pick up there were 5 people waiting in a queue for hotel check in and only one person working. Took me 40 minutes to pick up my rental truck. When I came to drop off, again there were people in the queue. After my turn, I asked the person on the counter that i want to drop off my keys. The person at the counter says he don't know how to return the truck and do it yourself. Wasted my time again at the counter waiting in the queue. Uhaul should let the borrower know that do not wait in the queue, the person at the desk can not help, just return using app. Well, using the app I started my truck return, I kept taking photos and the app keep saying unable to upload photo. Tried 100 times and it keep saying error uploading. so much frustrating experience. I need to go to another place and got late and just because of that I have a $45 fine that I need to pay from my pocket. Later I called uhaul customer service, the lady was nice and told me payment have been through and no need to further return truck through the app. wasted my one hour just to return the truck. Poor customer service experience.

A new hotel was built near our house that also serves as a UHaul depot. The experience didn't start off very good. The dashboard kept sending sensor warnings, the inside wasn't swept out and fuel wasn't topped off from the last customer. The hotel clerk(s) can't really leave their desk to check the trucks after a rental. UHaul customer care took care of the matter. They gave me a credit to pay for gas and the little extra compensated for the other shortcomings. Definitely will continue to use UHaul in the future and is still my favorite place to do a truck rental.
SHIBATOSH DThe app to turn in the truck wasnt working. Took almost as long to return my truck as it did to unload the equipment from it. The staff at the location tried to help after a few of my failed attempts

Laurent AFirst of all, the reservation was messed up and had to re book with the agent. Then the truck was not cleaned. The truck still had gup rock and it needed ti be cleaned. I was not able to depart for about 45 mins. I am waiting for an area supervisor to call me back.

Shantell HThere was snow inside the truck; and the truck was clearly not inspected upon arrival, or before picking it up. I felt obligated take it in current condition because I was paying former coworkers to move the items needed. Also took 45 min to check the truck out. No fault of the worker, but they were doing the hotel front desk job and dealing with the uhaul at the same time suggestion for them is to have more than one worker available.
