Area was kind of hard to get in and drop off the trailer. Nothing against the location or personnel it was just hard to get in. I would look for another area that was easier. Also, I dropped of the trailer and turned it in I was supposed to get an email saying I did but I never received an conformation that was done.JOHN WALTER M.

The experience at the location was great and easy, no frills. The support to hook up the trailer was great as well. Bill knew what he was doing. A cool remote guidance. :). However, the rental process was a disaster and a waste of time. Bookings confirmed without having the equipment available. I had to call all around to find what I originally booked. 14 calls to different locations. I found Vickie that was very helpful and she gets credit, but the system/process is not good.Ricardo R.

I reserved the trailer for 4 days through my usual Hhaul dealer that was out of inventory. I was to pick up the trailer at Texaco on GA Hwy 20/Dr Bramblett Rd. I spoke with someone over the phone who took my credit card information and said they would email the paperwork. When I received the email, I noticed that the amount charged was $113.13 more than my reservation of $223.65 for a total of $336.78. I called the representative back and asked for a correction to be made and was told he was not a Uhaul Dealer and that Uhaul would have to make the adjustment when I returned the trailer. He said the money doesn't go to me it goes to Uhaul. I was leaving very early the next day so I decided to address the problem when I returned. The trailer was in a very difficult position to hook up and it took several attempts without assistance from the Dealer. When I brought the trailer back and saw my final receipt I was disturbed to find that the $113.13 was not credited back to me. Insurance was added and I didn't want the insurance. You can review my previous trailer rentals and see that I don't purchase it. I addressed the problem with a man Named Ali. He told me that he had customers and asked me to step aside so he could assist them. I told him that I was a customer and was in line first and that I should be treated with the same respect. He refused and told me to contact Uhaul to make the correction. My next step was to speak to Zack who is my usual Dealer. I saw Bill Hitchcock's card and wrote down his number. I called Bill and left a message. Two days later he called me and I explained what had happened. He said he would investigate and call me back. Bill said he gave me a partial credit. I insisted that I should receive the full credit because of the way a Uhaul Dealer handled the transaction. Bill said I returned the trailer 2 + hours late and that I was being charged an additional Day. I am a repeat customer who was mistreated and disrespected by a Dealer who says he is not a Dealer. Had tiny sign by exit/ that had misspelling saying no big trucks exit due to steep grade. Could not see it while sitting in truck pulled out,got stuck, had to call a wrecker to be pulled out an additional 125 dollars ..after driving an extra 45 minutes to pick up a truck because first location didn't have the truck we were supposed to have. Dealt with rude employee at u-haul site that was mean and nasty to numerous customers..she said she called other places to see if they had any ..she was texting the whole time. Another employee came in and asked what we were waiting on. He tried calling other site and he asked her how she called since the line was not working..she didn't answer. My husband called the 1800 number to get the truck at the second location which was a fiasco. I felt worse for the elderly man in front of us who she yelled at and said what do u want me to do about it. ..and humiliated him in front of a line of 6 people. Warn customers of the steep entrance/exit that will cause large trucks and trailers to "ground" and get stuck. Didn't happen to me as I was returning a trailer but the customer before me had "run aground" with the large truck he had just picked up. Charged us for things we specifically did NOT ask for nor authorize to ne charged for,.I have called u haul customer service twice and stayed on hold for 38 and 43 minutes to no avail or being able to speak to anyone. The location was very uneducated on uhaul and gave a lot of misinformation. They also did not appear to have actually listened to us when we explained our rental needs when we picked this up. They further treated us very rudely during their 7am call to us on a Saturday morning and upon return of the truck thst Saturday afternoon and when confronted with the overcharge offered no help other than to blame uhaul and NOT even be able to provide the number to us for uhaul customer service. Overhaul an awful experience and one that.ensures we will never do business of any kind with this locationRandall B.
My experience with them was very good considering the Uhaul system was down. The agent was very patient and able to accommodate me even during a crisis situation so I would not be inconvenienced further. Great job and great people. On pick up, I noticed that the latch to open the back door to the trailer was sticking and that one of the lights in the trailer was out. I told the employee there these issues and he said he would note them in the file and that is was fine to go. On drop off, I spoke to a different employee and told him the same issues and he said I would be responsible for those issues. I explained to him that his employee said it was fine so I should not be responsible for anything regarding the issues I presented at pickup. He continued to say it was my issue and they weren't responsible. I was hesitant renting from a gas station but definitely will not be returningEthan B.
The store was supposed to be open at 6am for a pickup. The worker didn't arrive until 6:15 and then made no effort to assist me for another 10 minutes or apologize for being late. I was not told that the gas tank was not full or that the side view mirror was broken. The driver's side door didn't close all the way. It was very cold and there was ice on the windshield. I asked if they had an ice scraper and he said no. No attempt to assist me. I was delayed another 10 minutes for the ice to melt. When I returned the truck I mentioned these items and was told they already knew about them and I should have slammed the driver's door harder and it would have shut.Karen K.

Also, getting the truck back to the location is a nightmare, as it is a very, very steep hill that is almost impossible to get a 26 foot back to. Would not recommend this location. The owners are extremely rude! Getting the trailer they couldn't find the reservation. They had to call someone even though we had the reservation number and everything took forever to get. Then when returned we though ahead and Literally put the trailer back where we got it from. Stones to hold it up and all. Then They asked us to move it 1 foot to the left. Didn't help us at all to move the stones so we could repark trailer. Had to our back on the car and then get out of car to put stones back under and repark all when he is on the phone with someone. The pickup location was uninformed and in fact gave incorrect information. It was not disclosed that packing supplies were not available at that location. Once at the location to collect materials, more than 5 miles away on Keith Bridge Rd, the location was understaffed and the wait was long. The materials that I had pre-ordered for pickup I had to find and gather for purchase. Having rented with u-Haul many times previously in different locations, this experience was unacceptable. Attendant did not know what or how to process the rental. I made a reservation on line (have had my account for several years) and had to redo the reservation with someone on the phone. The store had no way to Scan my license (I do not like to put this stuff out on the web) but I had to do it via smart phone anyway!Lance H.
Upon arriving we told the clerk we were dropping off a truck. He said "have a seat it will be a few minutes- i'm at the end of my shift so i'tll have to wait." But the way he said it was nice and not snippy. We grabbed a few drinks and checked out with him at the register, finally a few mins later he walked out with my husband and literally walked to the truck while on the phone with someone looked at my husband and said " your good- if they need anything they'll call you." My husband said upon leaving he just felt as if he was an inconvenience to the clerk. Overall it was a good experience but still awkward.Steven L.

I was re-routed to this location without being notified and was very put out. Thankfully your area manager discounted my rental for the inconvenience factor. There need to be an alternative way to get a copy of a driver's license when the app doesn't connect. The person at the counter had more focus on shoppers rather than a uhaul customer that was there first. I also had to drive to a different location bc my original location didn't have it . The whole picking up process took almost an HR and was horrible. I will consider using a different rental company next time.cheryl S.
