My experience was very positive. The owner/operator went above and beyond to make sure the equipment was ready and in great condition, and that my pickup and drop-off was very efficient and without bumps. My next move, I will drive 15 extra miles to this location, passing 5 others, to rent from That Storage Place in Katy again.
Lance MThe location was great! The cost of the insurance was rather disappointing. The price of the trailer was good and then the insurance was a kick to the groin. That is Uhaul's problem, not this location's problem. The owner of this location was awesome and super helpful.

Gary EWhen I arrived at the original pick up location, I was informed that I couldn’t perform a mobile check in and the keys should the handled to me on hands. 2 weeks ago I had no problem in performing a mobile check in. I was sent then to a location 20min from there. Arriving in this new location, no locker password was informed to me. After 1h, I obtained the password but the locker didn’t open. I was informed by the call center that the locker needed to be shaken since they are usually in poor conditions. After finally opening the box and getting the truck keys, I couldn’t find the truck. After another 30min I was informed that the truck was in a different location than the keys, and after getting the keys, I should’ve driven to the other location. Due to this 2h delay, I needed to perform that move without daylight. Definitely my first very very bad experience with U-Haul.

Jim SHello Team, My name is Bryan Waruhiu and I had rented a 10’ Van yesterday for moving purposes. I wanted to tell that I was really unhappy with the service because I was provided with an old truck with a old and messed up cable pulley ball. When I was done loading up all my stuff and was about to take off to my new home location, I was unable to close the trunk and had to call in for Uhaul assistance. The service took about 3/4 hours and the mechanic told me that I still had to watch out when I was driving because it wasn’t fully fixed because it needed a new cable pulley ball. I had to stop a couple of times on the highway because the trunk kept opening up a couple times and this is very unacceptable. I been a customer for many years with uhaul and this is very disappointing for me having to deal with this because I was supposed to be done with everything by 6/7PM and didn’t finished until 11PM/12AM last night. As a loyal customer I hope I can get a refund or something for this dissatisfaction service.
Bryan WMy equipment was there, ready to go, and the person who assisted me was wonderful and nice. My last few Uhaul experiences have been terrible BUT this one went exactly as it should. The last two times I rented from Uhaul the equipment was not there and the people were rude. This is a FANTASIC location- kind of a mom and pop feel at a local storage and personal service. I HIGHLY recommend them and will use them when I have a need again. It was a breathe of fresh air experience! THANK YOU for restoring my faith in Uhaul. : )

Plus I entered all data ahead of time - but had to reenter once I did the pick up - this took way way way too much time. I was there during business hrs - however the office was closed due to renovations. ?? (truck was fine..)
