The entire process of picking up and dropping off outside of business hours is not at all user friendly. The vehicle was parked half a block from the business so when at vehicle your system would not recognize that I was at the location. Asking the customer to upload a bunch of pictures is ridiculous. Terrible customer service. Pickup and drop off was a nightmare. Both places were closed when trying to pick up and drop off. Keys and truck weren't at the right place picking up. Spend 2 hrs on the phone with customer service with no help. No place to drop off keys at the drop off location. Was hung up on twice. Will tell everyone to avoid uhaul. I had ordered shipping blankets and this location did not have any. My wife had to drive to Galesburg to pick them up. If the company changes pick up locations then they should have the supplies at the new location so the renter does not have to travel to pick them up.Scott J.
I dont like the online part, couldn't get the GPS to link where the pick up place was (was told by uhaul it was my fault the it wouldn't work, even after I turned location off and back on) was supposed to pick truck up at 7, couldnt get it until 8. Plus I wanted the truck in a certain location had to drive 80 mins (there and back) to get the truck. You call uhaul and are on a wait time for 20-30 minutes. Will not use again. Tried telling me I left less gas in there when I picked it up.Regina S.

I asked to receive my usual rental at a location closer to me a week in advance. 3 days after I got a phone call saying the closest rental was 56 Miles out of the way in kewanee, IL and not Camanche, IA. The uhual was in good shape overall. Except for the wiper blades they need to be replaced. The gentleman at the kewanee location was prompt and curious and got me on my way in a timely matter.NATHAN E.

The pickup location was great just very inconvenient for me since I was planning on picking up the UHaul in Davenport which was a 2 hour round trip drive to pick up the Uhaul. I would recommend UHaul to try to get pick ups closer to the requested pick up location.Chad L.

When I called in to make my reservation, I requested the smallest truck that included a ramp, which would've been the 15' truck. I also requested it for 11am. When I arrived, there was a 10' truck reserved for me at 10am. Then, there was a combination lock on the loading door of the UHaul when it was returned. The location didn't realize. When we went to inspect everything before we left, we found the lock. It took about 45 minutes for the guys to call UHaul, try various codes, and eventually grind the lock off. While we weren't on a strict deadline, we also didn't anticipate this delay. And this was not factored into our return time either.Carolyn J.

Did have to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up when they were open, also the computer system wasn't cooperative and it took another 20 minutes get the everything taken care of. But the worker was very friendly and apologetic about the circumstances and the delays.James P.
