This location is in a bad area. The building has every window boarded up it looks abandoned. The inside is very dirty I wouldn't let my daughter come inside. When he came out to test my lights he tried putting the tester on backwards I was worried about him damaging the hook up on my truck. This was the only location in 50 miles that had the double axel trailer. With that said no matter how bad I needed the trailer I would not go back there.

The gentleman waited after hours for us to get there cause we traveled from out of town. It was very courteous and very professional, and that all our needs even contacted us the next day to make sure everything went as planned. I give 10 stars to this gentleman.

The "office" was filthy with old food sitting out and cigarette ashtrays overflowing. The man was dirty with a hole in his shirt and a cigarette in his hand, dirty nails, etc. This was NOT the location I had asked to pick up the truck from. I received a phone call a few days before the scheduled pickup and was told I needed to pick up from this location. I followed the instructions I was given against my better judgement. The Laurel Street location in Springfield IL should NOT be supported by UHaul.
Jeff SThis location was very dilapidated. Boarded up windows n a very poor side of town. Although the man running the place was very nice, he was very dirty. I would never ever recommend this drop off for anyone.

The exterior of the building appeared to be a burned out apartment with the windows boarded up. I would not recommend this location to anyone. U-Haul should seriously consider an on site visit to this location. The only thing I can recommend to improve the experience for the next customer is to find. Different location.
Brad BOffice was dirty, had a foul smell, had fly traps hanging from the ceiling. Employee/owner was unfamiliar with the system. Process was much slower than other locations (centers). Had to call when bringing trailer back. Gave plenty of notice, but still had to wait for employee/owner to get to location to complete my return. Ended up having to complete my return for the owner/employee using my phone while he was on the phone for a different job/business. I was given access to return my rental which gave me access to all rentals from that day. Very unprofessional experience and will not return.
Jacob CIf you're arriving at night to drop off, its a little scratchy. Needs more lighting and to be cleaner.
