Most uhaul dealers have drop boxes for keys if returning after hours. This one does not which meant I had to come the next morning and miss a day of work. Also, I was required to come back with a quarter tank of gas, but when I first received the vehicle, There were 10 miles of range left. Very inconsiderate to future customers to not check this or fix if you knew

The lady who runs the place was very nice and helpful. The truck was pretty crap though. It did not run well and was clean ish but had crud on the floor. There was no walk through of the truck before we left. The worst part was the slow unloading system. That alone will make me never rent from uhaul again. We waited over an hour in 100 degree weather trying to get photos to upload and it wasn't an internet issue.

I didn't see the "check in on time" for the truck. I was two hours late and it wouldn't let me pick up the truck. Had to call to get them to allow the app to work. The app did not provide the location of the lock or when we figure it out, the access word for the lock no the back of the truck. I had to call on a Saturday and wait on hold to get the info. On Sunday the App kept sending me a "500" error code so I couldn't check in the truck. I had to come back on Monday morning to do all of that. Nice idea for the app.....still a lot of glitches to get it all right.

When reviewing the vehicle and assessing the condition of the vehicle, it was noted the pictures of the vehicle were not updated. I had to take my time to update pictures of the truck as there were multiple areas of the vehicle with damage. The drivers side floorboard was not cleaned and the cargo area was not cleaned. In addition the furniture pads were just thrown in the attic space. I was apparent the vehicle was not inspected for damage that could have been left to the responsibility of the wrong party if not properly checked. It’s not good business to have a customer take the time to complete the job of the provider of the trucks.

The parking location round back is bad on a number of levels: - it is a dark, one way back alley which is a potential security problem - access to the parking location on foot is bad. There is no footpath - you have to navigate across grass and a dividing wall to get there in one direction, or walk an inordinately long way round the other way. - vehicular access to the parking location is also difficult, as you cannot merely drive round back from the storefront but need to take a different street altogether to get there - The parking space is too tight and cramped, being a patch of rough ground, too close to the buildings to easily maneuver, too close to a services pole and too close to the adjacent vehicle - There is no drop box for keys at this location. I had no idea what to do with the keys on returning the vehicle. The assistant gave no instructions on checking out the vehicle (and I forgot to ask, assuming it would be obviously)

Vehicle’s interior was dirty, cup holders had melted chocolate or something inside two of them. Check engine oil message came on towards the end of our usage, we only drive 17 miles. No key return drop box was available so had to call in for instructions.

Gas tank was close to full but definitely below the full line when I picked it up so when I filled it up before dropping it off and the need showed full it was clear I paid for some of the previous renters gas. Overall good experience just found that annoying that they clearly filled it almost full and likely marked it full when they dropped it off and the needle was close enough to the full line even though it was a few gallons short of full. I have before and after pictures too and it is a noticeable difference. I paid almost $20 in gas for a 22 miles of driving so it’s very clear I paid for someone else’s gas.

The lock was incredibly difficult to open. The "low tire indicator" light was on for the right front tire. It had only 40psi, so I aired the tire to the correct inflation pressure. An hour later it was low, so I had to locate a tire repair shop and repair the tire. The tire showed signs of wear indicating poor alignment, and appeared old and cracked. It should have been replaced prior to my rental. The passenger side door barely closed, and appeared as if someone had attempted to pry it open previously, based on the dent. The steering appeared to have either something wrong with the power steering, or in the axle. This truck was in need of maintenance and repairs.

The truck was dirty and had a foul oder. But it was very helpful in moving my elderly mother. I was hesitant to leave the keys on the seat as directed and had not see the text sent my uhaul until after I tried to call in that I was leaving the truck. . I want to make sure I was not charged anything extra. I did return the truck prior to 5:00 p.m. but did not see the text as mentioned until they brought my phone to me from another location. Thank you for all your help.

I would NEVER use this location to rent, or recommend it to anyone I know. Extremely poor customer service. Gas tank was not filled to the line as it should, tire was flat and the woman said its ok, you paid for insurance just call the 1800 number they can help you fix it". Can you believe this?? I replied, " I dont feel safe". Then she proceeded to roll her eyes. I asked her for another truck and she was upset that I asked. She gave me another truck after a 30 minute wait and told me to walk around the building to pick it up. Again, I couldn't believe what I was hearing!! I called back to tell her the steering wheel was violently jerking when i applied the brakes. No answer. I called 12 times!! No answer. Mind you I just left the store 45 minutes ago. I had to travel over 200 miles in an unsafe truck. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! I am waiting for a call back from main headquarters. Again, I expect a full refund for this nonsense. Poor customer service, zero consideration for safety and trucks in poor condition. Unbelievable.

First and foremost there were way too many charges on my bank for this one reservation. My initial encounter was unprofessional because the worker Jessica did not seem to have concern for my problems that occurred with this reservation. She acted like she could care less about the issues I was having. After an hour of being at the pickup location”The Mailing Spot” I was finally able to get the truck. I was initially charged Two $100 deposit amounts. After dropping off the UHaul truck I was then charged $160. When I picked the truck up the gas was on a 1/2 tank and the worker Jessica did not give me nor email me a contract for the reservation. She just told us we were good to go.

Girl at the counter was very nice but made some errors on the paperwork that we had to work out later. We reserved online and got calls to change the pick up location twice. We ending up having to go almost twenty miles to pick up then got a call from our original location near us asking why we hadn't picked up the truck. Truck was very noisy and the brakes squealed.

They did not check my U-Haul in on time and I was charged $178 instead of the $54 for extending one day. They did catch the mistake and reversed it quickly. It was a hassle to deal with though.

Truck was dirty and given with a less than 1/4 of tank of gas. If you rent the trucks with a full tank of gas, it is easier to return with a full tank of gas than it is to guess about how much to fill the tank before you return the vehicle. The check engine light came on the evening we were loading the truck so we stopped loading it in case you were to change the truck and when we called your service line, we were told to ignore the light as long as the truck worked and there was no apparent engine failure, which I think was a risk we took, but we followed your instructions and thank God it did not break down on the way, however, I had to have everyone helping come back the next day to finish loading the truck, which was extremely inconvenient.

Maria was absolutely delightful and kind. They had even just washed the inside of the truck because it had been raining and muddy. When I asked if we could mop out the water, she went so far as to bring out a mop to help dry the floor before we began loading and helped carry out the blankets I rented. She also helped me with other details with a smile all the way! Very grateful for the kind smile and willingness to help!

Drop off was the WORST. There was a sign on the door saying they WEREN'T A DROP OFF LOCATION. It said to park the truck in the back or we would be CHARGED $100 and there was NO DROP BOX FOR THE KEY! I have a picture of that sign if you like. Since it was a holiday weekend we had no idea if we would be charged extra because we had to TAKE THE KEY WITH US and make another trip there to DROP THE KEY OFF. After a day of MOVING IN 98 DEGREE HEAT this was the last thing I needed to deal with. How can a drop off location have a SIGN saying they AREN'T a drop off location?!? It made the experience even MORE STRESSFUL because we had no idea what to do about this. I've used Uhaul numerous times and have never seen anything like this.

The employees were not much help. I stood and waited for about 10 + minutes while the worker kept telling me to wait. Then after picking up my truck I get a cancellation email and they weren’t helpful in anyway still. I would definitely not recommend this place or go back.

The cargo area has not been swept clean when I got the vehicle. I made the reservation online, picked up my truck, and then I could not drop the keys off that afternoon. I couldn’t find a drop box for the keys, and customer service couldn’t tell me if there was one. Very frustrated due to not knowing this place doesn’t do after hours drop offs. Why was I able to request a truck during time I couldn’t drop it off? That needs to be worked on.

The overall experience was fair. I rented everything through my phone which I do not recommend anyone doing. Customer service takes too long to respond to messages and their 24/7 calling just even longer to actually answer the phone. I was denied my first uhaul initially because my session with the live agent timed out & they claimed my reference didn’t answer the phone. I was told to provide another reference & when I did, he was not contacted until 40 minutes later! The first customer service rep I spoke with claimed that I was supposed to pick up the uhaul on the previous day? My reservation was clearly for that current day, I had the confirmation date right in front of my face. After hanging up on her, I still had to go into and get a key from the office. The woman inside also gave me a hard time about my reservation stating it was for the previous day, I HAD THE DATE CORRECT & had already signed the agreement. Even if she suspected the date was wrong, she still handed me the key & wouldn’t let me leave until I pulled up the agreement. After not being able to locate my agreement, I stated that I had already signed it & my card was on file. I was already over an hour into the process. After finally leaving and getting into the uhaul, the AC didn’t work! I then get an email saying my uhaul was due in 1.5 hours when I was booked for 3 hours. I called customer service and explained that I had only actually had the truck for 5 mins because the process took too long. Luckily, she was very nice & extended my service, even though it cost me more money in the end. Over all experience, I would say DO NOT rent online only. Call uhaul or go in person to rent it, their online system is flawed.

I was unable to initiate my rental by way of the U Haul app, and then spent 30 minutes on the phone to resolve. There was no information at the Mailing Spot to help in case of difficulty. Also, I had ordered a dolly and it wasn't in the truck. I did receive a refund for the dolly.

The experience wasn't bad but they didn't have my padding order available -the store didn't have any of the accessories I needed for the move (mattress protector). The truck needs maintenance, it was pulling to the right a lot. Other than that, it wasn't bad. I got to my destination without incident. Thank God!

The instructions were a bit odd. They asked me to park the vehicle by some dumpsters behind the store and leave the keys in the ramp. I followed the directions. 2 days later I received a text saying I'm incredibly late returning the truck. They never bothered to check in my truck rental. I'm satisfied with U-Haul however not with this location. I'll never use the Mailing Spot again.

The trucks are parked in a very tight space in the grass, not even in a parking lot. The access to the back of the building is one way. It took quite a bit of maneuvering to get the truck out of the parking spot. When I returned the truck I waited in line while customers in front of me mailed several packages each taking quite a bit of time. I handed the employee the key and she said everything is good. But 2 days later my equipment had not been checked in and I received 2 threatening texts for not returning the equipment.
