RAY SSpent 45 minutes there, and no employee or person on site to help, even though it was during open hours, and the office was unlocked with lights and radio on. Lot was very muddy. Needs to be paved on main driving areas. Had originally ordered with a drop off in town, near my home, but was later told to drop off here, which was not as convenient.

Gerald OYoung children were “manning” the check-in desk (if you want to call it that) for the first 15 mins I was there. Was waiting with another customer. Cute kids but not very professional. Very messy desk area. Man finally came but had to call the manager on the phone to process my pick up. Was sent to this location after original location cancelled my reservation at the last minute.

NELSON CThe people who run The Old School Rose Lodge U-Haul pick up location should get their act together. I made my reservation three weeks ago and it was confirmed. I received a voice message from one of their employees/owners, telling me the 10' truck I wanted would be ready for me the next day. When I went to pick it up, another employee/owner said I couldn't have it. I even played the voice message recording I had received from the first person, but the second person wouldn't budge. What's up with that? One person confirms it a day in advance, and another person denies it the following day. The second employee/owner told me he would substitute a 20' truck for the 10' truck, at the same price. If I'd wanted a 20' truck, I would have ordered one. It was WAY too big. I was concerned about the size of the truck as well as the gas consumption. The second employee/owner told me the 10' and 20' trucks have the same engine, was is not true. I specifically chose this place because of their 5-star rating. Never again. How they ever earned 5-star ratings is beyond me. Consumers should be aware of the way these people treat customers.
Boyce HLiving in Lincoln City, it would have been easier to pick up a truck there, but there were none available. Although the distance to Rose Lodge was further, it was worth it. Larry was great and I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.
PATRICK CThere was trash under the seats and the inside of the windshield was streaky dirty. The clerk had never checked out a truck, did not know how to use the U-Haul software and his boss did not answer the calls for help. It took 30-40 minutes for him to do what is accomplished in about 5 minutes in Depoe Bay. Once somebody finally came from a back room, I was labeled the impatient and rude one.

JACK SI am so grateful for this location. We had our engine blow on vacation. To be honest, my experiences with U-Haul before this had not been good. This entire experience has changed everything. everyone at Rose Lodge was so helpful and got us in and out of there in no time. The truck was ready clean and they went over everything I needed to know and had me very confidently loading my SUV. Thank you!

Sheri EWorn out tires and NO front jack to lift off the ground. I had nothing but issues with the trailer tires 🛞 1 blown out and the second about to, they got replaced both but one of them was used and it blew out again.

JEFF DWhen I rented the trailer, I selected the Lincoln City drop off center. When I picked up the trailer, they told me they thought that location was closing, and that I would get a call within an hour or two telling me where to drop off the trailer. I did not get any phone calls and finally received an email the following day 2 hours after my scheduled drop off time. By that time I had left the trailer in Lincoln city the night before as I was finished with it and had made plans for the following day. Everything was straightened out, and the manager at Old School Rose Lodge was very understanding and accomodating, but the the mixup could have been avoided if someone had called with the appropriate information as promised.
