Location and equipment was fine. But the overall uhaul system experience was very frustrating. Didn't know that we only had an hour to pick up the truck from the scheduled time. Just missed the timeframe and had to wait until the store opened. Couldn't get a representative on the phone to help. Messed up our move in the morning.Doug C.

I gassed the vehicle at 8 mpg like they said and STILL was surcharged for a gasoline fee. Totally unfair. They go by where the needle is on the tank I shouldn't have been honest and drove out of my way to return the vehicle with gas as I found it. Unhappy customer. BTW would never have left a negate comment but they didn't even ask me before running up my bill.Bradley B.

I rented a cargo van and a utility dolly. They never put the dolly in the van. We ended up taking the van back and dropping it off. I explained without the dolly I couldn't get the unit out of the house and now I have to go to work. I was charged full price and had to rent same thing today.Rhonda S.

I reserved to pick a truck up early from the Miamisburg location to pick up at 8 am. Got there and staff said they had to change it pick it up at Centerville location. I asked does Centerville open up at 8 am and they said yes. Got to Centerville location at 8:15 am and NO they don't open until 9 am. I wasted 40 minutes on the road there and back and 1.5 hours having to wait for Centerville to open up. The thing that saved you was the gentleman at the Centerville location is always great. I have rented from him before. I received no discount except more mileage to return truck to Centerville instead of Huber Heights. I feel I deserve a discount for confusion and time wasted. Also customer service on the phone said I was sent a text Thursday-I reviewed and shared I did not receive a text of location change. Please follow up with me for my discount.Todd K.
this location is wonderful! They always get me in and out fast -- I rent trailers about 10 times per year to support my rental home business. The owner operator is frequently available after hours to help park the return trailer!james W.
I was not told that my rental changed location from Miamisburg to Centerville. I wasted 30 minutes getting it straightened out after trying to check in and then waiting in line. Made it to Centerville only to have to wait for them to get the truck out buried by other trucks and unloaded of the items in it. An hour later I finally got my rental. I had 3 movers standing around doing nothing at $100 an hour because I could not pick up my rental on time.GLENDA W.

I have rented from you in dozens of markets over the last 30 years, and I have never had such a pleasant experience as the one I went through recently with Dan and Sharon O'Neill at The Packaging Store. They made everything so easy to navigate, and were incredibly generous with their time to answer questions I had, make recommendations on size, and suggest additional gear I may need that ended up coming in handy. One worker didn't wear any mask and was making political comments to another worker. The other employee wore her mask and while checking us out she pulled it off for a second to get a hair out of her mouth. She proceeded to check us out without cleaning her hands at all. When we got the keys we immediately sprayed them and the paperwork with sanitizer because we were so disgusted. I've been to this location before and the male employee never wears a mask and try's to make somewhat inappropriate chitchat. If I get sick I'm 100% sure it was from this most recent interaction.Catherine A.

Everything about the actual rental experience was great. The truck was in good shape and clean, and the customer service was great. Unfortunately, the man that assisted us was not wearing a mask. The lady that was working alongside him had a mask on, and, from all indications, was pleasant to work with. There was a sign on the door requiring masks to be worn by customers. Regardless of one's personal opinion, my wife and I obliged to the request of the business to wear a mask inside the store. My expectation is that the staff/ownership would have no choice but to adhere to the requirements set forth by their business for the customer base. I can't, in good faith, refer this U-Haul store/rental center to my family, friend and business associates.Shane E.

I was there before their 9 am opening on Friday morning, and was 3rd in line waiting outside. The first employee unlocked the door 7-9 minutes past 9 am, and the second employee showed up 5 minutes later. Very helpful once inside but for higher rating would recommend on time startPaul L.

The staff was pretty rude - there's all kinds of signs all over the place warning you about extra charges and boot prints and blankets - makes you feel like renting from Uhaul isn't the right way to go - you never get treated like that at a corporate location!Robert N.

Disasterous. I have rented from uhaul dozens of times but I am upset with the charges I received for "decal damage"? I have no idea why and I will contest it as to I have two other eye witnesses that will ascertain that we didn't have or do any damage to the vehicle. I had the truck for a little more than two hours and only hauled light furniture in it. I was charged $252.86 for what should have been $50.00 tops. I will be going to the BBB along with complaints to all levels at Uhaul!Wesley M.

When it was my turn, the clerk asked me what I wanted. I said I wanted to rent a truck for the afternoon. She immediately responded no they're all out .. unless I could make do with a 10 footer. I said that's exactly what I wanted. I thought it was odd that she began with a no, we don't have a truck...most customer service people are taught to saw yes, not no.David S.
