Worst experience I ever had had to pay more than I was told, had to pick up at another location (another state) at 5:45 on the day of pickup after I had left my residence at 4:30am, bought boxes at pickup and the attendant left out the metal bar to hang the clothes and upon return had to pay extra on gas, and I had verified twice the exact amount I would have to pay for the truck and at pickup had to pay extra, tell me what you think would you ever rent from U-Haul again would you please send this to the CEO at U -Haul I believe if anyone who reads this message would feel the same, I've never cheated anyone but today I was robbed.Richard S.

I arrived at the storage facility at a strategically planned time. Time came to hook my truck up to the trailer and when I go to test the lights, my blinkers on the trailer were flashing backwards. They told me my truck wiring was wrong so I made them hook up another trailer. It was their trailer. Not my truck. Already running late, I agreed to a deal that ultimately ended up a very poor trade on my end. They did not have a backup trailer. The agent stated that they would give me a 10 ft truck (instead of my 12 ft trailer) for $300 flat instead of $228 that I was originally paying for the inconvenience. I said that's fine. I get 10 miles away to pick up my truck and they charge me $300 for the truck, $56 for insurance, $50 in tax, $100 gas to get to my destination, and a $10 mileage fee upon return. Doesn't sound like a good deal to me but I may be wrong.Clinton M.

original pick up location was five minutes from the move site. the day before, it was changed to this place in rural arkansas (instead of memphis) that was 25 minutes away. we had no car and were not familiar with the new location, so we had to pay for an uber and struggled to find the location. additionally, our original supplies purchased with the u-haul were still being held at the location in memphis, so we had to purchase the same moving supplies at the site in arkansas and requested to be refunded for the supplies at the memphis site. the $30 uber was not refunded for the inconvenience.Sydney S.

Fix the check in process. I could not get the web site to let me check in my truck. Customer service agent sent me a new link and that wouldn't work. Agent Transfer me to tech support and they never answer. I was charge a $20.00 check in convenient fee because I couldn't get any help with the link by the 800 numberGeta T.

WITH THE CURRENT COVID-19, I REALLY FELT LIKE THEY COULD HAVE SPRAYED THE TRUCK DOWN WITH LYSOL. IT WILL KILL THE GERMS AND ODOR. HOWEVER, THE CUSTOMERS SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. I WILL USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN.Helen V.
