No one was at the business, it didn't have any number posted to contact anyone locally for assistance. There was a barcode to scan if I needed help with location services, which I did, but had no clue how to use the barcode to help. I tried calling the 800 Uhaul # and was on hold for 8 minutes with no contact. I ended up just needing to switch browser versions on my phone. For some reason my location said it was on but the uhaul site said it couldn't connect. Chrome was a but easier to figure out, after I finally had the idea to switch briwsers.CRYSTAL V.

The truck was not well maintained. Muffler was not connected, and sounded like a drag car. Ran rough. Check engine light was on. Truck was so loud my ears rang for 2 hours after my hour drive. Cab was clean and smelled good. Not sure if I'll choose U-haul again. Worst rental experience I've ever had.David L.

I went to pick up truck at 9 am had to call them said on way they didn't get there till 921 not big deal but not right also said 7/8 tank of gas only had 3/4 I took picture really not happy had to call cause wanted to rent blankets and Dooley very on professional didn't have restroom not impressed sorryLyndon B.

I was notified the day before my move that my reserved truck could not be found. It took us an extra two hours to pick up the truck instead of the planned 20 minutes. The system at the Tilted Lily was very slow. I am grateful that they had a truck available.Anna L.

When they called to give me my pick up location they had the wrong pick up time that i set up over the phone with the 1 800 number... then when picking up the trailer the lady was 5 mins late getting to the location and then once there she didnt have keys to get in the building so had to wait for someone to bring her keys...after getting the trailer everything was greatBAILEY W.

I called a local u haul dealer to rent my order. I expected to pick up my order in my town. I got a call that said i needed to go 20 (RT) miles out of my way to pick up my order. why don't you close the local stores and just have one hub, this would of kept my expectations higer then finding out you don't have what I want in the first place. Overall my experience was positive. I did have a couple of small issues that could be improved upon. 1. The first time that I contacted this location by phone, it was answered with, "hello." I didn't know if I had a business or not. Every other time it was answered with the business name. 2. I made the reservation on-line. I marked a 1 day, local reservation, picking up the van at 4:00 pm. I assumed that the van would be reserved for me until 4:00 pm the next day. However, the computer made my reservation until 3:00 am the next morning - totally unknown to me. When I picked up the van, the reservation was changed to my anticipated return time. 30 minutes later I was contacted and told that the van should not have been extended as someone else has a reservation starting at 8:00 am the next morning. Something was worked out with the other reservation and I returned the van around 1:30 pm. However, there is a glitch in the on-line reservation system that needs to be addressed. It could have been a huge problem.LARRY H.

I would like tp iquir about the sign at the drop and lock storage that said 50 dollar garranty to have at right time and location . i didnt book it here i booked it in almont mi . uhaul changed it and said i had to pick it up 13 miles away in metamora mi. and i would have to pay the extra miles there and back. thats not fare considering i booked in almont and got a confirmation # that it would be there. so i had to pay 26 mile extra. so i would like my 50 dollar with your garranty right time and location GreggGREG C.

First of all when I went to pick up the transport after I had already loaded the uhaul her computer kept telling her it was the wrong one and then what really pissed me off was that the straps that she was told would fit my 30.5 inch tires (oversized which she was told 2 weeks earlier) did not fit and she told me that I would have to go into Lapeer and buy my own straps which cost me $52.00 and I would like a refund on those. Melissa did not really know how to load my pickup onto the transport. There happen to be a customer there who helped to guide me onto the trailer. I was very dissappointed in how she handled the whole affair. She had this attitude that when I asked her what if the tire straps dont fit, she said well you just wont be able to haul your truck with you, so unconcerned. WHAT REALLY SET ME OFF WAS THE FACT THAT AT THE LAST MINUTE WHEN I WAS READY TO GET ON THE ROAD SINCE I HAD 1400 MILES TO GO WAS THAT I HAD TO GO INTO LAPEER AND PURCHASE OUT OF MY OWN POCKET LARGER STRAPS. I MADE THIS RESERVATION AND HAD EVERYTHING SET UP 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE SO ALL I HAD TO DO WAS LOAD PICK UP THE TRAILER AND GO. THIS WOMAN NEEDS MORE TRAINING WITH THE TYPE OF EQUIPMENT SHE HAS AND HOW THESE TRANSPORTS WORK ESPECIALLY THE STRAPS. I WOULD DEFINATELY NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS UHAUL PLACE AGAIN. ON A MORE POSITIVE NOTE THE UHAUL TRUCK I HAD RAN BEAUTIFULLY. I STAY AT 55 PH THE ENTIRE TRIP, CHECKED THE FLUIDS, STRAPS, CHAINS ETC. THE ENTIRE WAY STOPPING OFTEN AND THIS TRUCK NEVER GAVE ME A MINUTES WORRY OR ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL AND I ONLY SHUT IT DOWN WHEN I RESTED FOR 1-1/2 HOURS THE ENTIRE TRIP. THAT TRUCK WAS WONDERFUL BUT WHEN I WENT TO CLEAN OUT THE INSIDE THERE WAS CHEETOS AND CANDY UNDER THE SEATS FROM WHOM EVER USED IT BEFORE. I AM VERY CLEAN SO I MADE SURE ALL OF THAT WAS REMOVED SO THAT THE NEXT PERSON DID NOT HAVE TO USE AN UNCLEAN TRUCK. OTHERWISE THE TRIP WAS LONG AND HOT BUT THE TRUCK WAS AWESOME. IT EVEN TURNED OUT TO BE FAIRLY GOOD ON GAS WHICH SURPRISED ME. I WOULD RENT A UHAUL AGAIN BUT NOT FROM WHERE I RENTED IT WHICH WAS A HOPP SKIP AND A JUMP FROM MY HOUSE. THE PEOPLE HERE IN RAWLINS, WYOMING WHERE I DROPPED IT OFF ARE THE GREATEST. YOU WONT FIND ANY BETTER ANYWHERE. PLEASE GIVE THEM A COMPLIMENT FOR ME. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I GOT A REFUND BACK, BUT I STILL WANT TO BE REIMBURESED FOR THE STRAPS THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO BUY SINCE I WAS TOLD BY MELISSA MORE THAT ONCE THAT YOUR STRAPS WOULD FIT MY TIRES.PAT M.

Business was run using a verizon wireless internet card...when I was there lady spent 20 min trying to make my reservation..after many failed attempts she called a coworker at home to have him use his internet to make my reservation. She then proceeded to give my credit card info over the phone to someone who I have no idea who he was...very unprofessional and will never go to this location or recommend it ever again..piece of advice would be to get a more stable connection to run a business.DARRELL A.

The store owner was excellent. She went out of the way to help me. She answered her phone after hours, met me at the lot to pick up a trailer after she had closed. Then helped me exchange the trailer for a truck and car hauler the next morning. She even helped me get assistance with loading. She was awesome!BERNIECE K.

The people in the the Lapeer/ Metamora office were wonderful. When, I dropped off in Port Huron, those people were less friendly..the man who inspected my truck return was very rude...he wanted to charge me a cleaning fee because the truck was "dirty". He said the box was "full of leaves and dirt". I said..."I will go sweep it out"...when I got out there...there was 3 leaves in the box....3. I just felt that was a bit much. My over all experience was good. I would recomend Uhal to friendsSUZANNE S.
