When I went into the office the Young Lady told me to drop the trailer and she would get it checked in and taken care of. Seeing that the trailer was in exactly the same condition (no new damage) I did just that. Later when checking my checking account I saw a charge for $34.10 from the drop-off location. When I called the Young Lady said I had kept the trailer an extra day. For the rest of my "issues" with U-haul see the comments from the pickup review.Roger B.

Possibly have a block of wood for under the toe section when cranking of the trailer to lift off ball and limit the toe section from sinking in the ground.Dennis C.

The truck was great I went online to reserve a truck & even called to make sure it was all straight & it still got messed up I ended up on Friday spending 3 hours on the phone to get it straight again. I do not have a smart phone & am technically challenged I got my granddaughter to help me check out& in truck but truck was good wanted some pads but we managed.Paul H.

Let people know that the 10 ft truck doesn't have a ramp. I think most people assume that they all have ramps. The information on the Uhaul website is in small font and the bottom of the page. The pictures shown when checking out are also misleading. As for Tidewater Collision, your team is AMAZING! Thank you for your help and making the process incredibly easy and being upfront about costs and mileage.LIANA M.

Uhaul as a company needs to clean up their act! I made a reservation over a month in advance to pickup a trailer in Williamsburg, VA. I get a call the day I am supposed to pick up the trailer and was told the closest trailer was in Hayes, Va; "only 12 miles away". Well it was not even close to 12 miles it was over 30 miles and a 2 1/2 hour drive. UNACCEPTABLE! Never did the customer service people mention that I was entitled to U-Hauls $50 reservation failure guarantee; I had to and was told it would be deducted from my final bill. Never happened! Additionally, I was FORCED to drop the trailer off at the same inconvenient location, not Williamsburg. Very clear that U-haul is not a customer oriented company at ALL!DAVID GRANT M.

When I first showed up for my reservation there was not a truck for me at the proper location due to last customer not returning the truck. which is fine but calling me ahead of my arrival letting me know there was no truck would have been awesome. Driving the truck I know there is something wrong with the breaks due to me needing to bottom out the break pedal to get the truck to stop (aka need servicing). There was also a absolutely terrible metal-on metal screaming rubbing sound coming from the what I believe the front right wheel. I checked the clearance between brake housing and wheel and it measured half of what the left side had. I annotated all of these problems when I checked in the truck hoping it would be fixed before the next renter took the truck, but the next morning I drove by the truck had already been rented out by another customer. Which puts peoples life in danger.GRANT C.
The cab of the truck was not clean. While it wasn't necessarily dirty, it just wasn't detailed. The under seat compartment still had food crumbs and the cup holders had coffee stains all over them as well as part of the floor. The associates however were excellent! Great customer service and really good people to work with!Brent H.
TCC was great to work with, including giving us pointers to ensure we continue to have a great experience with U-Haul in the future! Our reserved 6x12 trailer was in an easy-to-access location, so hooking up to our truck was a snap. One note: U-Haul says it's boxes are water-RESISTANT, but NOT WATERPROOF. We found this to be a well-heeded caution. As we traveled through a torrential downpour with hail on I-81, some water did find its way in through the door seals. A bit of our padding got wet at the floor, but nothing was harmed. People should keep this in mind as they load their U-Haul trucks or trailers.Shawn L.

My original res was for pick up Fri, Jan 15 at 9:00 pm but when I arrive at the Leesburg Pike (Falls Church, VA) location the rental truck was NOT available. Made a new reservation online AND called U-Haul 1-800#. â€˜MAC' - the res agent was VERY helpful and confirmed cancelation of the 1st res and the new res in place. Tidewater Collision was a great experience. On site personnel (Jason) was very helpful and informative when I picked up the vehicle on Sat. Jan 16. A very good check-in experience.MARIALINDA H.

No visible uhaul signage except vehicles. No key drop box clearly marked KEY DROP OR UHAUL. Hard to see small address numbers on mailbox, no numbers or signage on building. The location approx. 100 yards down the road on opposite side of the street was clearly markedMichael B.
