The interior of the trailer was caked with dried mud on the floor and walls. Had to be washed and dried out at home before we could load it. The roll door had to be shoved in at the bottom to latch properly. Couldn't be done by an average strength person because it was so bent. There was a crack in the front side of the trailer that was large enough to let in light and water. The onsite personnel were helpful and agreed to mark all of the issues noted with the trailer. Offered to give us another one but none on site were the right size.DONALD P.

This was not the location I was texted by Uhaul to return drop off to. The address provided was not a uHaul location nor no one at the address had any idea why I would be sent there. I had to find this drop location some 6 -7 miles away from the previously provided drop off address.....Very frustrating trying to return this vehicleJoseph A.

The physical location was fine, the building, however, is terrible. The owner was friendly, however, the equipment was clean and well maintained. I would recommend, but would have to warn people about the dilapidated building.ROY S.

I placed my unit order on line and was totally disappointed. I planed my move for Saturday morning and paid for a 26' truck to be dropped off at the Tire Doctor in Zachary for 8 am. I had hired 3 men to help with the move. The truck was not there at 8. Mo with the tire Dr showed.up 8:30 and told me there were NO TRUCKS available in the area. I had to let the men go and spent the next 3 hours trying to find out what went wrong. The next 6 people I talked to either did not know how to help, or did not want to help me. Tire Dr found me a 15' truck for Sunday. It took 5 extra 30 mile trips because of the smaller truck. U Haul wanted to charge me for the extra 150 miles. I finally found an angel in Sulphur LA who straighten the extra mileage problem out. I had to pay more for gas as well as extra for my hired help. Your question is what can U Haul do to improve for the next customer. My answer is get rid of the obvious incompetent, not caring, or stupid people working for U Haul and concentrate on hiring employees with customer satisfaction as the main goalAMOS T.

After my contract had been cancelled mid trip; I called the company and was put on hold. I literally found this location twenty minutes later by driving around while still on hold with the company. The associate was very hospitable and helpful and made up for the long phone hold which was never answered.Timothy M.

I rented a U-haul truck on Thursday 4/29/21. The owner stated that the truck had to be back the same evening as it as being rented the next morning. The owner was cleaning the truck when I arrived there. She swept out the back of the truck and sprayed lysol in the front cab. As i waited, the owner complained about the previous renters not cleaning the truck leaving it in bad shape. I walked around the back of the truck when she went to sweep it out. There were a few pieces of paper on the floor but nothing major. The message on the display stated that the truck's gasoline capacity was 23 miles to empty which explains the $32.00 gas credit. I returned the truck at approximately 4:50 PM. Not only did I clean the truck, I also sprayed it with Lysol upon my arrival to her place of business. However I was charged an additional $30. I phoned the business on the morning of 4/30/21 to inquire about the additional charge. I was told that the truck was not swept or cleaned which is a blatant lie!!!! THE OWNER WENT ON TO TELL ME THAT SHE HAS PICTURES. I then told her that i was going to report her business to the BBB. I know that people has the capacity to make mistakes but what happened here is so UNPROFESSIONAL and totally DISRESPECTFUL. If I had gone over in mileage or the gasoline was in question, I could understand. But to accuse me of not sweeping the truck is pure evil.......BUT GOD!!!!! Especially when I have witnesses that saw me as I swept the truck. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE and will not go unnoticed or unknown. Thank youLORI B.

The location looked abandoned and I would have been afraid to enter alone. The pick up method via the website was inconvenient and excessive. It took almost an hour to complete. The truck was damaged upon pickup with a panel handling off the passenger side. After clearing the damages with worker at the site we leave with the vehicle not knowing the back door cables were off the track making it just about impossible to use. I was embarrassed to be seen in the truck and I will use another company in the future.Jessica J.

This was a location and corporate fiasco. It took 2 hours to get a truck that was supposed to be a mobile pickup. The owner did come from home to provide the truck. I had a moving crew standing around for 2 hours.Jason F.

My only complaint is not with the location, but with Uhaul. I went to pick up my trailer and the associate that helped me said it had been cancelled. He said I was supposed to pick it up by 12 PM. I thought I was supposed to pick it up around 12 PM. It was never explained to me that if I didn't get there by 12 PM my reservation would be cancelled. I honestly thought it would be better to get there a little later than I little before. Luckily, the trailer was still available. I was also charged more than I was quoted, but I figured that was the associate taking advantage of me since my rental had been cancelled.JOHN B.
