The first issue I had was getting the app to work so I could rent the truck. It took us over 45 mins to get the truck off the lot as the app would not upload photos and kept timing out We had to call the support team and have them get us through all the issues. The next issue was the truck we got had the engine light on and we never noticed it until we had headed out. The vehicle ran a bit sluggish to start and made a terrible whistling sound. We called in and told the support center with Uhaul and they told us to keep going, however we were very worried as the first 300 miles of our trip there were no major cities to be found. I thought it may have something to do with the gas so the first time I filled up I used a higher test gas and top teir fuel. I then ran the tank down again and swithed to 86 test gas however top tier and after that fill up the engine light went off and the terrible high pitched sound went away. We did have to suffer through 300 plus miles of the engine light issue and the high pitched sound. I have rented many Uhauls in my time and this was a terrible experince. The next issue was the side mirrors would keep moving so I had the lean in both directions to get a good read on traffic.

ROQUE CI was told I could drop the trailer at the Arizona and Riggs location. I had the trailer for multiple days yet they told me I had to drag it 25 min away to the downtown Chandler location, because there wasn't room at the other lot. It was a 5X8 trailer. The second smallest item you rent out, not much of a footprint. And you are telling me nothing left the lot from the Arizona and Riggs location that Saturday that would have allowed for enough space for that 5x8' trailer to park there? That is super annoying. Instead of 5 min there and back it was 25 min there and 25 back to drop off the trailer. Not amazing customer service.

MARC HTNT Flagstaff is a very tight space when drilling off and the office is closed after 5pm. I made it work for a 15’ truck and car tow to fit alongside the road, but it was a slight challenge. App return process kept kicking me out but completed it on the 4th try.
