Everything was great! We had 2 storage units so they gave us a discount. I wold highly recommended climate control over not climate control. The larger unit was not climate control and lots of stuff got really dirty and some things even molded. It was totally my fault. I should have done a better job wrapping up everything twice. Staff was always great! They pass code to get into the gate Is perfect. You can come and go as you please. My wife and kids always felt safe at the facility after hours. Difficult to get into. Drop off area is small and not flat. Really bad for trailers with no wheel chocks. Looked like there was a flat drop off area inside the gated fence, but if you're not renting a storage unit, you cannot access that area.STALEY BETH B.

The office was locked. There was a sign to call. Took three calls to get someone. Girl was very rushed. Then I get a bill online for $20 more dollars than I was quoted. We drove from one rental location to the other, but U-haul did not allow enough mileage. I paid too much!JOHN B.

Even due to the Covid 19 limitations, customer service could have been a lot better. First of all, where the trailer was parked was too close to the neighboring building and was difficult to back up to the trailer. Second, no one was there outside to assist with backing up to or help hook up the trailer. With no trailer jack, it was very difficult and dangerous for only me to do it. Hopefully this helps with future costumers, but I will seek a new source for my next rental needs. I was pleased with the look and cleanliness of the 6'x12' enclosed trailer.Richard H.

The office did not allow anyone inside the office due to Covid 19 issues and the concern to protect employees and customers. However, the attendant, Tyler, was very helpful with the return of the rental truck. He was thorough and supplied paperwork showing that the rental was returned properly.Leonard F.

BEWARE of online Reservation and check in! When I reserved a trailer online, I declined the $5.00 safe trip fee that was listed as optional. The total cost that quoted was the rental fee plus taxes. When I received an emailed invoice after returning the trailer, U Haul added the $5.00 fee and when I requested a credit for it, they refused saying it was state mandated. I have never been charged this fee to rent a vehicle in North Carolina.Kim W.

We purchased 12 blankets and the attendant put them on the floor of the shop and ushered us out of the office to bring the truck out because he was alone. He failed to put the blankets in the truck so when I got home and opened the truck there were no blankets, we had to make a special trip back to the store to pick them up which was 20 minutes away!Richard R.
After getting a message that our pick up location did not have the equipment, we agreed to drive further to another location that did. That was fine. But then when returning the trailer, the location told us we had to drop off somewhere else because he â€œalready had five thereâ€ and wasn't allowed any more. The truck was clean. However, it was not what I requested. The cargo van on my original request had a very flat tire when I inspected it. Was given the 10 ft'er but only got a break on the mileage. The truck worked out fine also since it was small.Curtis J.

Arrived at 9:40am to pick up trailer but door to the office was locked. I called the office number with no answer and had to wait 5 minutes or so, when someone came from inside and unlocked the door. The failing opened at 9am and have no idea why they didn't have the door opened. Not a great way of doing business as I almost left and went elsewhere.Wesley W.
I tried after hours pickup, and got to the end of the process and your website froze and didn't give me a code to get my key. I called customer service and was on hold for 15 minutes and then the representative couldn't get ahold of a manager to get a code for me. So I couldn't pick up the truck until the next morning, which defeated the purpose of getting the truck the night before. So I'd suggest texting the code or emailing it so others don't have this happen to them.Timothy N.

Uhaul attached trailer to truck. I put the tailgate down and trailer put a huge dent in tailgate. Who builds a trailer so you damage your tailgate if you open it? No warning stickers and was not told by staff that opening tailgate would be damaged by trailer. Very upset. Very let down i wasn't warned this would happen. I can't be the only person this has happened to.David S.

The system when using online to rent a trailer changed my truck from. 4 to 2 door, engine size from v8 to v6 and from 4dr to 2dr. This set me back another 30 minutes even though I ordered online and put the correct vehicle and then I checked in online and it showed the correct car but it changed again in your system.Mac S.
The staff and location were great. I wouldn't recommend Uhaul to another because your trucks don't accurately reflect advertised capacity estimations. Not even close. One bedroom apartment, minus couch, chair, washer, dryer, fridge, kitchen table, Still truck was packed. Two trips.Robert T.

I needed to rent a truck before hours and when I called the staff was very helpful. She recommended that I go online and rent it as a 24/7 rental and then I could pick it up as early as I needed it. She stayed on the line the entire time I did it in case I had a problem.Tammy R.

My experience was frustrating to say the very least. This location is equipped with employees who lack the ability to efficiently rent Uhaul equipment. I was quoted wring pricing, wrong return times and return policies. The "manager" was never available when I asked 3, 4 or 5 times for her to call me. Moving is stressfyl enough, but this rental facility had me in tears multiple times over the 3 day ordeal. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONALChristina C.

One of the tires on the auto hauler came partially off its rim about one mile after we had our load on. Glad we were still on a country road and not the interstate. If it was due to needing air, then someone didn't pre-check properly. If it was due to some road hazard, s--- happens. No harm done-except for the tire.Robert J.
