I had to sweep out the trailer. The person checking me out couldn't lift the trailer to hitch it up so I had to help and I have a bad back and am not supposed to do stuff like that. Nobody else could help. The location is in an old motel that has been converted into apartments and I could hardly tell it was a Uhaul rental store. Very sketchy looking. I was supposed to pick up the trailer at a different location per my receipt but was sent to this location instead. This was not a very good experience in general.

Facility where the UHaul office was located is absolutely disgusting! Dirty and smelled of smoke and other rancid odors. Employees were unfamiliar with the automated rental system. I had to actually read the screen to the gentleman receiving my return. This is not a good look for Uhaul. Lincoln Nebraska has several well run profession rental locations. This is not one of them. I wont return here.

Stunk soon as you walked n. Kids just sitting around. Didn’t have jack to get trailer off hitch. Was told just to lift it off. Didn’t inspect the trailer.

Through no fault of the very nice people at the U-Haul place. I was at, I got an alert that I could not rent a vehicle until a past account was paid. I called the number that I was given. It was told that my name had been used by someone else, when renting a vehicle. I was unable to rent a vehicle until I paid that account that I had no part of. That is an insane policy! Someone could get anyone’s name and phone number, put them on a U-Haul account, and keep them from ever getting a U-Haul again if they don’t pay someone else’s bill. In addition to that, the wait time was terrible to get to a person and when I did get to a person, he was very rude.

I booked pick up on the south side of town and this location seemed very sketchy. People were hanging around at a weird time and I didn’t feel super safe. The items I rented were not provided and I was still charged. I called immediately but it hadn’t been rectified.

This was disgusting. This is a fleabag motel that does Uhaul. The bathroom was filthy, the toilet paper was stuck on the coat hook in the stall, no paper towels, no soap, no air conditioning in the bathroom, dirty cotton towels and a bucket sitting on the counter. Staff was not clear on the unnecessary Safe Move. Staff used cell phones to access rental contract because the site was frozen on their computer. Slow service due to the software/hardware. Will NEVER rent from Uhaul again. Awful experience.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Truck was dirty and had a half full open pop can in it. Truck ran great. Easy to drive. I requested a dolly and furniture dolly and neither were available at that location when I arrived to pick up the truck. It did not indicate that when I reserved it online.

Easy to pick up and return the truck overall. The truck did still have snow on the windshield, and there was no scraper to be found in truck. So I would just advise them to clear that off for future customers because it was hard to clear without proper supplies.

The door would not open and close. It was bent and did not move well in the track. I could not move it by myself. I required 1-2 additional people to assist me. When dropping off we were not able to get it off the ball I had purchased there. I took the pin out, backed up and slammed on my brakes. It did come lose at that time, after 30 minutes of work. There was.no jack or assistant that knew whete to find equipment. 🤔 but, staff was patient and kind

The lady in charge could not really help my complaint about Miles and I left the truck with over the amount of fuel I needed too. But she couldn't help with my miles complaint. The place was clean but the cleaning help was on her phone and using bad language (cussing at whomever she was talking) and she was not being discreet about it. Which only looked bad for the lady that came to help me.

Make sure they have heat truck you want in your immediate area. It was really inconvenient for us having to drive 2 hours up and back to pickup the truck also they changed drop off location on me rather than the one I had reserved.

Truck was loaded and the team was very helpful with assisting me on pickup. Highly recommend this location for future moves and for friends.

The cab of the truck was dirty & smelled like dog. The back of the truck hadn't been cleaned out, I had to sweep it out before I could load my belongings in it. The employees working this location was very unprofessional. They were not rude but just very unprofessional, vaping at the counter while assisting me, using bad language, yelling at their kids that were there just to name a few things. The location was dirty and not maintained. I selected online check in and they insisted that I needed to come in to do my check in although I had already started the online check in. I will never use this location again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this location. I have never been so disappointed in a uhaul location and I have used MANY locations over the years.

Make sure the equipment is working condition. There were three things wrong with the trailer. There was no hook for the emergency break chain. The left front wheel ratchet strap was broken - usable but not safe or easy to use. Third thing was the front safety chain was missing the black rubber keeper. I had to wire the chain to prevent the S-hook from coming disconnected.

This seemed to be a combination of a hotel and apartments. There were just people and kids wondering around all over the place. It was not any place that I would recommend anybody going to. There were big holes in the parking lot and it was in really bad shape.

Employees not knowledgeable about computer system. Turned computer around for me to enter information into system. Got hooked up to car trailer and lights didn’t work so had to unhook and setup with a different trailers. Upon return, office unattended and no other customers around. After 4-5 minutes, New trainee showed up but had to wait for someone to show her how to do the return. Office had trash all over (morning breakfast food from hours before when I rented trailer), garbage can over flowing, no toilet paper in restroom still from morning,. Trainee was friendly, however, her 19 year old trainer showed zero personality or customer service.

Make sure if you want people to use the mobile phone pickup that it actually works. This ended up having to be started from scratch and I lost an hour of time. Very disappointed.

I never recieved a final receipt and why I was charged 51.00 for 19.99 u haul for 2 and half hours put 16 miles on it

Make sure the equipment is in proper working order. One of the straps on the car dolly was torn and too short to secure my vehicle. A replacement was installed but it took over 2 hours and put me way behind schedule. U-Haul rep was still in training yet was left to by themselves to handle customers.

Office is a bit weird

When the reservation was made, the return date was Tuesday, 10/11. Returned the trailer on Monday, 10/10 - office closed, no one there, just dropped it off around noon. Sent me a bill for $38.00, late turn- in!!
