Trucks and trailers were on the side of the road and in the yard of a home across the street from the business.

This location is entirely run over a cell phone. No help in hooking up the trailer, checking lights, etc. If I had been older of less capable, I would not have been able to attach the trailer. It was parked on a hill with no way to attach it to the receiver. I had to pull it over the parking chalks (boards) and pull it into the street. Very unsafe. I was almost unable to lift the tongue far enough to attach it. The individual running this place, did show up, but left shortly after telling me to make the reservation on line. He never returned to assist.

All business conducted by cell phone. Nobody showed up for a pre inspection, to assist with hooking up the trailer, or provide any paperwork or discuss the various insurance options. Individual was hard to understand on the phone.

The person running the place wasn’t even there we had to call them and they told us to take the truck and hook up to a trailer OURSELVES it was outrageous.

The pick up location was abandoned for two days. All the trucks were unlocked with the keys in them. I never spoke to anyone at Tread Kings. Uhaul had to give me permission to take the truck I rented. I felt like I was stealing it. I was very uncomfortable. The truck itself was vibrating and bouncing during breaking, And needs to be inspected by professional. The drop off location asked me to move the truck after I dropped it off. Then when I said I shouldn't be moving vehicles around their property, the manager got mad and moved it himself then charged me 25 dollars for clean up. As a Uhaul dealer, I know what a clean truck looks like. The blankets were piled near the door but they weren't folded...the rest was spotless. In 40 years, this was my worst experience with Uhaul.

The facility didn’t have a furniture dolly or moving blankets. The dealer was nice but he didn’t even know what a hand truck was, LOL!! The truck was AWESOME though!!

The shop owner never bothered to show up so we had to do an over the phone with a uhaul rep from the 800 number. Luckily my husband knew how to hook it to the tow ball and plug everything in. We were originally scheduled to pick up in Youngstown, but the tail light was broke on that dolly so they had to send us somewhere else. Youngstown was 31miles further than the uhaul where we got the truck, then had to go another 30+ miles to Blountstown to get the dolly. It was overall a huge hassle to get what we needed to move. We made the reservation 1 month prior to the move, yet still had to go to separate locations for different pieces of equipment reserved for the move. Very disappointing considering we had to get the truck in Panama City at 10am and after the hassle of two locations for the tow dolly finally made it home at 2:30pm. Needless to say that cut into our loading time and made the move that much more stressful. I don’t know if I will use uhaul again if and when we move ever again. I don’t understand why we had to go to different places to pick up everything we reserved in store one month prior to our move. Oh and to top it off, they didn’t give us the utility dolly we ordered and paid for when we got the truck, so after coming back from Blountstown we had to go back by the store in Panama City for that. All around a very frustrating experience.
