Staff was super helpful, even after hours. Which is the only thing that made our first u-haul experience pleasant. The truck smelled of dog and had white little dog hairs all over the passenger seat and dashboard. Had to clean it with wet wipes. The placement of this u-haul is very awkward. It's attached to a gas station and isn't easy to find due to the placement, and the trucks were parked on down the road on the opposed side of the gas station. Thankfully staff at the gas station were friendly and very helpful!Julia R.
We declined the insurance, was given a form I signed certifying that we declined insurance and yet, they charged my card for the insurance. The staff was abrupt, rude and unhelpful. This will be my last rental and I strongly suggest no one use Triangle Auto Sales in Hinton WV. They will mistreat you and show no interest in customer service.William B.

I had a Reservation with U-Haul for a 15 foot truck well in advance of the date I needed it when I arrived at the location to pick up my truck they did not have one available I ended up spending two hours of my moving time dealing with U-Haul I ended up having to take a U-Haul that was pulled out of service just so I could get home I had to pay full price for a U-Haul that was on a recall list for repairsVickie N.
Mary Ann was the rudest person on the planet. Calls her customer's stupid and ignorant. Wanted to copy my credit card. I will never use that location again. She never checked the equipment, said she does not hook up or do anything with the equipment that was not her job. The trailer had damage to it. The tie down hooks were missing inside the trailer on the bottom left corner and all 4 top corners. She said I could not check in on line. I did and paid on line. She wanted to charge me again. If I had not been in a hurry If she had called me stupid or ignorant one more time I would have knocked her to the floor and gladly called 911 and told them what happened and why.Jeanette S.

This has to be the worst location ever. Ole Jaba da hut leaning over the counter, telling me the uhaul dont open till 11 when I got there at 9. She says you ain't got to return it till 4. No shit dumbass I finished early. Then she proceeded after I came back at 11 recommending that I move the unit for her multiple times, all the while Mr. Luther Wills who is the owner downs a 16oz Coors light at 11 am illegally inside his little sanctuary. Customer service. Non existent. You want to talk about unprofessional redneck dumbass pieces of shit. Here you go. These fuckers couldnt pull a blade of grass out of a lawn. Save your time and avoid this shit show for as long as you can.James A.

There was confusion as to what time I could pick up my rental truck. When I reserved it at the brick an mortar location, I was told that I could pick up the truck early by just getting the code for the lock box via my email. Instead, I was later phone called back saying I had to wait until there was someone physically at the pickup place to get the truck. This delayed our travels by 4 hours.John V.

we were treated very badly on our return and had to pay an extra $ 14.00 because they didn't open at nine am and that was the turn in time for the u haul and they tried to charge us another $ 85.00 for another day since its there fault they don't open before nine am or at 9 am so at this point I am very disgusted with the u haul drop off location triangle one stop in Hinton WV 25951Orville B.
I had wanted to do in-person pickup in Hinton because my on-line access there was very limited; however, the contract was for on-line pickup. The attendant at Triangle was very helpful and worked it so that I could do an in-person pickup. That saved me a lot of frustration.George W.

Very unprofessional employee who stated SHE was the one in charge of Uhaul there. She was rude, threatened myself & husband, using filthy language, etc. We and our company has used Uhaul throughout the United States and never have had one issue until now. Will NEVER nor ever recommend this place to anyone to use! We requested help when picking up the trailer and was told by the store employees there was no one to help, we asked for check off list or for someone to inspect the trailer because it was left with woodchips it appeared in the tracks and was told they didn't do that as well. Yet this woman screamed at us that it was "fucking filthy" EXACT words to is even though that was how we received it. It is not a customer's place to clean someone else's mess after noting this to them beforehand.Lisa S.

I did mobile service so the truck would be ready at 9 am, got there, clicked pickup truck. It said, no truck was assigned to call Jeff Bowles. Called Jeff and he said just go in and all would be fine. Went inside to find out they would not do the rental until 10:30. Called Charleston again, a reservation person called me back, she processed everything with her, contacted the store and told them she processed it. All we needed to do was walk in and get the key. Went back in to it's not in our system and we don't have a card on file for the charge. At this point the card had already been preauthorized, so I went back in to my online banking to show them and find there was 2 preauthorizations for the same amount. So called Charleston again, she said she only charged it once, but they would drop off when the final went in. Went in to get the key, and had to do paperwork all over again. Also was charged for the safe move when I declined it when I made the reservation. The mileage was also off by one mile on paperwork and what was actually on the truck, paperwork had a 3 on the end when the truck had a 4 but I wasn't arguing over .69 cents. After turning the truck back in, rather than dropping the 2 preauthorizations and doing a new charge, I was charged the difference for the extra mileage, therefore still having money tied up in preauthorizations that shouldn't have occurred. I called Charleston again, the system was locked up or something and they could tell me nothing. Have to check back tomorrow. It was one hassle after another when it was suppose to be a simple online reservation.Patrick M.

The people work here seemed to not care about customers. The first day, we cant help you right now we are to busy. Go on the internet and make a reservation come back tomorrow. I came back with my reservation. Still not super friendly but acceptable. The mechanics in the garage attached were drinking beer from a cooler in the garage. I could not get anyone to help me check the lights. I asked if I could get a military discount and was told they could not find the option. I also asked if I would get a partial refund if I returned the trailer early and was told yes. This was not the case. I was charged for a return rental, it was fixed and then charged for the one way rental and I am still waiting for the one way to fall off my card.Eugene B.

The place i picked up the trailer was not knowledgeable. I did not receive a hand book, the trailer was filthy, the trailer was not hooked up correctly causing damage to my light hook up, the left top light would not signal left nor did it signal for braking. I reserved a truck in Princeton on Thursday to pickup on Saturday. On Friday, I get a call that no trucks were available in Princeton and would have to drive 30 miles to Hinton. Why would the website say a truck is available 2 days out?? It took almost an hours time to get and return with truck.William B.

I should have known this was going to be a problem from the beginning because I could never get them to answer the phone. The personnel there was rude and not helpful at all. I had processed my order online with a drop off in Fairmont, WV - when I got there she stated "she couldn't get it (the computer) to take a drop off so I needed to call to make sure I could drop it off. I am NOT driving to Fairmont, WV and HOPE that I can drop it off. She wasn't willing to help secure the drop off at all. Very rude and I WILL NOT ever use them again!!!!Julie W.

Overall good service. Just be mindful of their hours as it is not a 9 to 5 operation. Reserving on line was easy and the staff was able to find and get me out quickly. Not sure if I can offer any improvements for customer service as I was satisfied. Since I was experienced, I hooked up the trailer myself and am not sure they have staff that can do it. The woman at Triangle went above and beyond to assist me in renting a trailer after my attempt at renting a truck at Femster in Alderson went wrong. There,I was advised that the truck would be ready at 10AM,11AM,and 12.To me this means that it will be ready by that time,not that I need to pick it up by then.Somebody needs to work on their communication skills. Otherwise,things went well and I'll be renting another trailer to finish up soon.ROBERT B.
