Your "remote" pickup via cell phone leaves A LOT to be desired. After I copied my license and sent a photo, I needed additional info thet I did not have access to. This needs to be made a bit more clearly BEFORE I show up to pick up my truck. The gentleman inside Triangle Motors was very helpful and courteous. With his help I was able to complete my transaction, but not after I was 30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time, making my mover help waitGeorge R.

Clean yes, inviting after dark, absolutely not. PLEASE add additional lighting and better signage to direct customers to the U-Haul after hours drop off location. I had to drive completely around the entire car dealership before finally locating the night drop box, it was a very small box about 2 feet off the ground, not illuminated and the entire drop off areas was very dark Might be a scary situation for a female customer.John W.

EDUCATE your Uhaul employees who answer the help line. I locked the keys in the van I rented along with my cell phone. After borrowing a phone from a stranger, I called the 800 number and after going through the menu to get roadside assistance, I explained to the Uhaul employee on the line that my phone and the keys were locked in the van. Apparently your employees are either don't listen or are just plain dumb because she kept trying to send me text messages to the PHONE THAT WAS LOCKED IN THE VAN. After explaining 10X that I couldn't recieve "confirmation" text messages , again because the phone was locked in the van, she said she couldnt send someone to unlock the van...so I hung up and smashed out the window of the van, unlocked the door, and returned the van to rental location. I have rented at Triangle many times over the years and both Jim and Tom are at the top of their game. I'm ALWAYS in and out in minutes, unlike the Prospect Blvd center where no one is trained properly or cares about the client's time frames (I've waited over an hour there just days ago, to find they gave my reserved truck away to another customer...) Triangle Motors is quick, keep my client account up to date, and treat me like I'm the most important customer every time. Drop off is always equally as efficient. Even when they didn't have the vehicle I was looking to rent, they continued to locate one for me and made a follow-up call to make sure I was happy with their recommendation. Consider repairing the hitch on that trailer. The catch underneath that is supposed to lock the trailer closer to the ball...it is stripped and requires a lot of attention to get it to close in on the ball. This makes for a loose connection while travelling and could result in the trailer coming off of the ball.ken B.

When I went to pay for the uhaul I was going to use cash I had the exact cash. Then they told me it's a extra $100 for a deposit using cash! Then I tired to pay with my other debit card and it wouldn't except the payment that way. I had to drive out of my way again to put money in another bank account. Kind of frustrating when you get a limited amount of miles.Ryan D.

The staff was friendly but the truck was not clean. It had a broken broom and debris in the car. It also had a McDonalds bag in th front cabin. This concerned me because I was fearful that I would be charged for an unswept truck so I had to clean up after someone else. This also concerning during the Covid-19 that the trucks aren't been cleaned.Saquoia G.

This reservation changed twice to a less convenient location with less hospitable service. We changed pick up to a later time and was not informed during call that this Uhaul's location's hours had changed and they closed early. Had an issue with trailer hitch but staff was gone by 5:02 even though they saw I needed help. So, no, I wouldn't recommend Triangle for Uhaul service; however, clearly Uhaul doesn't really give one an ultimate pick up choice only an initial choice during the reservation process.Melvin M.

cab of truck was dirty - cleaned it myself when I got home - peanuts on floor, a few ashes in the tray and dust everywhere. The windsheild and rear views were dirty. the rearview mirrors wouldnt adjust.Brian D.

Overall the experience was good. The location was easy to get in and out of with the 20 ft truck. The online pre-register was easy. The representatives were friendly. The initial equipment condition verification was simple enough. Being able to send pictures of any existing damage is a good idea, although you may want to make it so you can send more than one picture for each area. My one complaint was that the truck wasn't clean. The inside of the cab was grimy and the back could have been cleaner. I had to sweep out the back before loading and there were areas that were sticky.Michael M.
Last user left water bottle and the blankets, though I didn't need them, were just thrown in the back. The instrument panel indicated the oil needed changing. Maybe knit picking. Over all the vehicle ran well and the staff was courteous and efficient.Charles L.

I understand that the vehicles need to be cleaned and sanitized, especially during a pandemic. But I really wish Triangle and U-Haul would switch to an unscented product. The chemical cleaning products used gave me a migraine. I rent vehicles from Triangle regularly and would rent more often if less toxic-smelling products were used. Also, I need to rent a U-Haul to deliver something 6 hours away and today made it clear I wouldn't be able to do that here given the scent. Now exploring other options.KATIE P.
