Uhaul themselves need to improve their communication and not being timely. I went to the location I reserved my Uhaul at, which was in Fontana and was told the truck was at Trojan storage in Rancho Cucamongaâ€¦WTâ€¦I had to pick it up there since my movers were waiting. However that was now an additional 15 miles that I was going to have to pay for because Uhaul sent me to a location completely out of the way. Melanie the manager at Trojan storage understood and did everything she could to help this screwed up situation. Trojan storage I give a 5â€¦ Uhaul I would give a 1 star because of their inconvenience mess up the day of my pick up.Danita P.

The online check in process was a nightmare and was not easy to use. I failed the part where I had to input alternative contact let alone adding the passport and lease agreement. If you are going to ask these things, please state so I'm your reservation section. Don't surprise your customers on day of pick up. I spent 45 mins online and gave up. If Angela from Trojan storage wasn't there, I would have gone to Penske no matter how much they charge. Please make the pick up process easier by asking important questions during the reservation process. Overall Everything went well. I would recommend uhaul but definitely not the online check in and I would definitely not recommend the online drop off as well.GENNADII F.

We had no problems. Except there was one one person working in the office the day we picked up the truck. It took more than an hour to get checked out. She was overwhelmed with too many customers, constant incoming phone calls, and UHAUL personal coming from other locations to also get a truck. She did the best she could but that office apparently needs more HELP!ANNE S.

This comment is for not this site specifically but Uhaul in general. I had a reservation for this site originally. The day before my pickup I received a call from Uhaul saying this site no longer has my equipment but I should be able to pick it up at their Ontario location. I called them on the way there to confirm these last minute changes which they said was confirmed. When I arrived on site I was told that the reservation for the equipment (20' truck and auto trailer) was not on their system. They proceeded to tell me to come back tomorrow morning and they will have the auto trailer available but I would have to pick up the truck at a third site which was a mile away from where this second site was. The next morning I dropped my car off at the second site and proceeded to walk the mile to get the truck. At the third location I was told AGAIN that my reservation doesn't exist (even when I showed them the emails). They began to explain that their ticketing system doesn't talk with the system on site so they called Uhaul who proceeded to downgrade my truck size to 15' and sent my to the original location for pick up. Worst experience with U-Haul I've ever had. First I made a reservation for a 15 ft truck and was told my truck was a hour drive away. So I settled for a smaller truck and was given a truck with a leaking valve. Driving alone the tire no longer could hold air and I was stranded 100 miles from any family that could assist. It took an hour to finally get assistance and the mechanic showed up without the proper tool to replace the valve. So for the rest of the 4 hour trip the low pressure alarm in the truck flashed and beeped making the experience miserable. Next time I'll spend the money and go with Penske trucks instead.Andrew F.

Overall the rental process through mobile/online is convenient and fairly easy especially if you need a rental prior to regular business hours of the location. For the most part my experience was smooth. However, the most embarrassing thing occurred when picking up the key for the vehicle. The keys are stored in a key pad lock attached to PO Boxes that are not related to U-Haul and unfortunately someone called the police on me for â€œtampering with mailboxâ€ which was a complete false impression and three local law enforcement officers questioned me and my moving partner, ran our plates, and scanned our ID. All because someone falsely had the wrong impression. I was only picking up the key and it was embarrassing. The key location should absolutely be moved to another location away from those PO Boxes so this doesn't happen again to anybody.Rene G.

Well! Not user friendly with the lock and the spring loaded door that flies up so fast. The lock was very difficult to open. I had to get someone to help me The door flew up so fast it almost took my finger off, very dangerous, my finger is sore now. I feel it should accommodate women as well! Thank you I called three times about the lock and I had to wait on hold about 10 to 20 min then I could mot get transfered because the operator could not help. There is no direct line to answer a simple question. Having to go on line to request or ask questions while moving is nearly impossible. When people move we do not have the means nor the time to get online for a question to be answered. Each office should have a direct line Because of this I will probably go else where due to poor communication between customer and UHaul. To order on line was great, walk in office was great but after that all communication stops. Poor phone serviceAnna G.

I rented a appliance dolly and they charged me for an extra dolly. I guess there is a tag on the dolly in the truck and with all the stuff we moved we put stuff against it. I would recommend taking it out. That is a set up to make more money. I wouldn't recommend thos place to no one. I told them I didnt use it and they didnt give a Damn.LUCIANO D.
