The original rental site was not in operation. It appeared abandoned. Customer service was manned by an obvious new hire, she stated that she was, who after four confusing moments just ditched me while I was on hold. I ended up w a brand new customer service representative and had to go through the entire story again. All of this took an hour and a half. No rebate. No discount. Just an apology from an employee who was not at fault.

My experience with my trailer was excellent, but my experience with UHaul's “Moving help” business was horrible. Although mover had confirmed start time the day before, they did not show up, then cancelled when I called them leaving with no help at all!

The location looks horrible with cars in repair all over the place. The staff was slightly helpful, but the worst part is the van I rented. The van has automatic door that don't work, a gas gauge that seems to be broken, and even worst an engine belt that needs to be replaced. The belt causes the truck to make whaling noises every 5 minutes.

I live in New Jersey but the U-Haul in my town, which is a large U-Haul operated facility didn't have a working auto transport so I had to go to Delaware to a secondary dealer.

The provider (Trou Auto) is outstanding all the way around and would recommend them 100% .. Your rates on the other hand have have become prohibitive.. 80+ dollars (including insurance and fuel) to rent a van for less than 8 hours.. I'll be renting elsewhere from now on unfortunately (I rent vans often)

Do rent equipment on website that won't be available or provided at pick up location. Train your customer service representatives to treat the customers right until or unless proven wrong. The 1st man I spoke with about the ball hitch I rented was nice enough, but said things should have been explained better. Nothing was explained, I simply received a call telling me I had to change my pick up location. The 2nd woman I received a call back from was indignant & self righteous, exclaiming she's worked for Uhaul over 10 years, I told her it's sad you've been there over a decade & don't know how your system works. I also told her she just seems to be getting smart with me. Turned out I was right & they had to issue a refund.

Well lets start by saying I reserved the trailer at one location on govenor printz blvd wilmington delaware and for some reason the reservation was moved to a different location about 3 miles down the road which was inconvenient The original place I made the reservation inspected my hitch and told me all was good but when I went to pick up the trailer at the new location was told I needed a bigger hitch and ball for what I wanted to haul Good information to know PRIOR to pick up I was lucky to have a friend who had larger reese hitch and ball so I did not have to buy a new one for just a one time use When I finally picked up the trailer I made it known I wanted to pay cash when I returned the trailer and was told they would not be open sunday or monday to pay cash and was informed If I paid cash I would still be charged a deposit on my credit card and it could take up to 2 weeks for a refund (really?) At any rate using u-haul twice in 2 weeks at different locations I was not impressed Either the personnel were inexperienced or just seemed to have a don't care attitude Oh and this last experience I never had to sign a thing the attendent did everything on his phone didn't show me anything and yes I got a text but I am old school and would like a paper receipt Overall unfortunately in this day and age my experiences were what I expected where customer service is a thing of the past

Going to a third party to rent is different than going to an actual UHaul authorized dealer. It was ok. the best part is it was convenient to my home.

I dropped off the trailer on Sunday because I had to work on Monday. The place was closed so I just pulled in the lot and dropped left the trailer there. I called the place on Monday to ensure it was noted as "returned". The guy on the phone lectured me on leaving it in the wrong place. Then he charged me $20. I'm not happy with the return location.

U-Haul needs Serious improvement! When I booked my truck which was online they never provided the towing equipment so there for I had to Drive my vehicle 700 miles which I'm very unhappy about and they could not find another location that had the equipment! I want some kind of Refund customer service has submitted a report and I will be following up! The gentleman at this location was very helpful!!! We we're both on the phone trying to get a hold of U-Haul and all they did was pass the call around!!! U-Haul however needs to get it together!!!

From my perspective, the location did everything correctly. Van was there and I was able to process my checkout without issues. The van itself had issues... Driver's side window would not go back up - so I froze most of the trip (I did get it back up with some help). The van had damage to the front end - which did not effect the driving, but I want to make sure someone knew it was there before.

The location looks sketchy. There were directions to call a number when dropping off. I called (about 6pm) and there was no answer or recording. I called 1-800 unhaul number. Was on hold for two hours. Got through to someone who explained that I needed to do mobile check out WHILE STILL AT THE LOCATION or incur $20 fee. That is NOT specified in the contract where it can be found. Perhaps in one of the other SEVEN attachments. I guess I was expected to hang out at an ill-lit abandoned gas station-turned uhaul place for two hours to get that clarificaction.

Trou called me, lied and said they were uhaul and threatened to go to the police with videos of me dumping. These videos don't exist. I didn't dump anything. They harassed a uhaul customer even after they got their bogus $250 in order to extort more money out of me. Fire them.

The app wouldn't work when I tried to return the truck back so I got charged an after hours fee even though I took video proof and pictures as evidence of the on time return. Attempted to discuss the matter with the person on the site, corporate and the the regional field manager but no one returned my calls and no would help me. This is unacceptable.

Had a hard time trying to retrieve the key. Box was jammed. Took me an hour, had to call and wait for assistance. Barely had gas from the start. I put more gas than was supposed too and didn't get refund. The website should see that I kept clicking wasn't able to get a key. But they still charged me

It's kind of disorganized- couple guys sitting in the garage. While thing handled on the phone I was given no paperwork and basically handed the keys and I figured it out from there.

The Location is not clean and tidy. A lot of junkie car's and equipment around. The area where the Van's are kept are rocky and stony. I think that the U-Haul Rentals should be kept in a special place, on a solid surface.

This location was dirty and unorganized and in Delaware which I had to drive to instead of picking up the U-Haul truck in Gap Pennsylvania which is where I reserved it at. Very inconvenient also I was only to be charged $55 for this whole experience and I was charged three times on my bank card so I will be contacting U-Haul ASAP to dispute the charges.

I reserved in advance. A dolly and furniture pads. When I went to pick up the truck I was told they were out. Even though I was the first person there that morning. I said that "I had reserved them in advance" the answer I got was "yeah that sucks, sorry". Worst experience I've ever had with you guys. It will definitely be my last!
