Seaside location was fine....however, I intentionally reserved a drop off location 15 mins from my destination. Only later do i get informed that the location - that uhaul offered to me as the nearest dropoff - does actually not accept any truck returns. WHAT??! The next closest also did not accept truck returns. And you are sending me to one that is 1h 20 mins away. Ridiculous. No reimbursement for my time, for the gas used, for the inconvenience. :( I will never book with uhaul again....

I needed a trailer, they only had a truck so I got it and picked up the furniture. I took it home (about 82 miles away) and then dropped the truck at the drop location. They told me I needed to pay for additional miles used. I paid $250 to rent the truck and another $90 for extra miles. After looking at the contract, they allowed me to drive 79 miles and anything additional was $1 per mile. I wasn't even given enough miles to get from location to location. I guess that's my bad and I should have calculated the mileage myself. I was never asked if I needed to purchase additional mileage but I assumed I would have enough to just get from A to B without any other miles.

The dude was smoking took his time helping and charged me another $17 for no reason place was difficult to find

Location had no employee that knew anything about U-Haul let along an emergency swap. Was just handed keys and sent on my way. Had to go to another U-Haul location to make sure the truck was properly put into my contract. The Traffic unit people for U-Haul were no help to the workers at the actual location that helped me. The lady on the phone was very passive aggressive to her own people over the phone. Very unprofessional!

The location was under major yard renovations. So parking was almost non existent, and heavy equipment working. But staff was welcoming and received my trailer return no problem. I was told to call the 800 number to confirm the return location, before returning. It would have been nicer if they had information about exceptional local conditions.Like the construction.

Pick up was delayed almost an hour because person at desk couldn't get in and had to wait for manager.
