The entire "mobile" process sucked and I would never recommend it to anyone. It was the biggest hassle. I was hoping for an easy pick up and drop off. Unfortunately, the pick up and drop off is so time consuming that it makes a mad day absolutely terrible. I highly do not recommend mobile pick up.

Twigg's saved the day. I had originally reserved the Uhaul 15ft truck through Taylor rental on Market Street in Warren, RI. When I got there on Sunday morning I tried checking in with the 24/7 app.Taylor rental is not open on Sundays so there was no one that could help me but the app was telling me they were open and I needed to check in at the counter. This was the second time that Taylor rental has not had a truck that I reserved. I called Twiggs in a panic, who is another uhaul dealership. Twiggs gave me the 1-800 number to call even though I didn't book the truck through them. The representative that answered was able to determine that Taylor rental never got the truck ready for me on the prior day, so there was no key in the box for me to access. The representative was able to find me a location where they had a 15' truck. It happened to be Twiggs automotive on Child St (Rt 103) in Warren, RI. When I got there they were courteous and told me next time if I ever need to book to just give them a call.

Agent at the location was GREAT!! I went initially to a different location and the vehicle had a broken mirror and could not be rented. Called and confirmed that Twiggs had a truck available and headed strait there at their closing time. Everything was ready to go when I got there and rental was great!!

I reserved a uhaul two weeks in advance and still had to wait for the dolly to come in at a different location. I waited for two hours and I had a three day drive ahead of me and the equipment was installed incorrectly

I would recommend Twigg's as a rental location, but I had major problems because the truck is not properly maintained. The tires had no tread left and were completely bald. This was treacherous for driving on wet streets after snowfall and even dry streets in my neighborhood. The truck became stuck in an inch of slush in my driveway for 2 days, and I refused to pay U-Haul's frankly outrageous $325 fee to tow it to the street. Even my 2012 Corolla, which does not have all-wheel drive, easily drove through the slush. In desperation I called Twigg's for help, and they told me that U-Haul maintains the truck. I'm not sure who is responsible, but I will NEVER rent a U-Haul truck again. It was completely unsafe to drive and ate up my entire weekend. I have two small children and just moved to a new home -- this was the worst possible experience. I reasonably expected a working truck and a safe vehicle, and I am concerned that the next person who rents the truck may be in danger.

Beat U-Haul experience yet! Team at this family run business we're fabulous from start to finish. Business is scrupulously clean and organized and the van I rented was as well. Kudos and thanks to Twigg team for making my moving task better!!

I have always received good service from Twiggs U-Haul, but on December 30, 2021, I had the worst experience of my life as a customer. On Wednesday of that week I reserved a truck for Friday on the phone with the woman who works at Twiggs U-Haul, and everything looked to be perfect. The next day, however, the U-Haul system told me there was no equipment available. I called and spoke with the man who works at Twiggs U-Haul. He looked up the reservation and assured me it was all set. The call took about 30 seconds. I was relieved. Later that morning, I went over to Twiggs to buy some boxes. Both the man and the woman were there chatting with a couple of people. The woman was at the desk, and I started to tell her about the glitch with the U-Haul system. I got only a few words out before the man told me to stop talking, that I was wasting their time and didn't trust them. At first I thought he was joking, but without my saying anything else, he started yelling and threatened to cancel my reservation if I said another word, then threatened to cancel my reservation if I didn't show up exactly at the pickup time. I really needed the truck, so I left without saying anything else and without any boxes. When I got home, there was an e-mail from U-Haul saying my reservation had been canceled. I called Twiggs and spoke with the woman. She explained that my reservation had somehow been duplicated. She apologized for the man's behavior. The next day I picked up the truck. Only the woman was there. She apologized again and was very solicitous. I have dealt with the man in the past, and he was always nice. I don't know what set him off, but it had nothing to do with me. I was not there to complain or express a concern. I was happy to be getting a truck. I liked Twiggs. I was just making conversation. I do not believe the customer is always right, and I am very sympathetic to the fact that everyone is under a lot of stress. However, the man was unhinged and irrational. I am never going back there.

Extremely rude customer service, I'm paying for a mess that was in the truck when I received it, was told they check it every time they come back, but yet I was told stuff was left in the truck and when I went to pick it up, it was not mine belongings. Horrible location. Wouldn't in a million years recommend Twiggs to anyone for any reason.
