According to the vehicle mpg, which was confirmed by location, I used no more than 6 gallons of gas. I put 7.5 gallons in before returning and they insisted it was an 1/8th of a tank less than when I took it. The location manager did not return my messages to discuss it, therefore choosing to make an enemy rather than work it out over 10.00. I will not recommend this location ever and will go out of my way to chastise them.Michael K.

There was a face mask left in the dash and water bottle in the passenger seat door that were from the renter before us. We did not touch either item due to covid and sanitary reasons. Otherwise, the truck was clean and the rental was easy.Kimberly B.

We were overcharged & I don't think they check the right trucks when you return them. If you use this location, document everything! Take pictures of the fuel gauge & the mileage. Don't trust them!Virginia C.

I would never recommend Twiggs as a pick up location. Everyone was rude from the moment I walked in the door. They couldn't be bothered. The truck was dirty inside. During my drive to my destination i saw a chip in the windshield, taking note to mention it after i returned. When i opened the back of the truck it was filthy & not swept. Upon my return two employees looked at me ( with no masks on) and went back to what they were doing . It wasn't until a few minutes went by & another family came in ( which then exceeded capacity) that a man yelled from across the room. He told me just leave the key! I asked if we are going to go inspect the truck. He said why something wrong? I told them about the windshield and the rude woman who waited on me in the morning said in a sarcastic tone, that's why you got insurance! I have never rented a uhaul from this location, the location i always use, tru value taylor rental, didn't have this size truck at the time. Taylor rental is highly professional and they are thorough and helpful. Never do you feel like you are inconveniencing them. I don't recommend Twiggs automotive. Absolutely rude and unprofessional.Mary L.

These people are very easy to work with, friendly, and make the rental process quick and simple. They're also very accommodating in the event that you need the vehicle longer than anticipated, or are a little late in returning it. This is my second time doing business with them. I will continue to go to them in the future if/when I need a U-haul.Edward P.
I had to go into the building to get the truck, I wasn't given a choice. I was told to move my car from the obviously open area on the other side of the building to be behind the building and dumpster. Which did not seem like a secure location at all. I was also told to ignore what I put into the app. The guy tried to overcharge me, but I corrected him. Instead of taking a couple of minutes to pick up the truck, it was more like 20. What a time waster... Never going to that location again. Definitely a bad experience.Mark V.

Your reservation system and local availability of equipment is poor. Just a few years ago we had no trouble finding the right trailer for our needs. Our company rents trailers from time to time and because of the nature of our business the use of which can not always be foreseen. Now, with your national system we have trouble finding equipment at the nearest locations on almost every rental. I don't know why that is but it's inconvenient and forced to look for alternatives.Leonard V.

Our confirmation email listed a different pick up location so we went to that location. They didn't have our reservation and called Twiggs and they had it. We should have been notified of the proper pick up location.Gayle N.

Communication and disclosure is important. When I rented a truck, the location's customer service rep pointed out the after-hours key dropbox, but I wasn't told there would be an additional $20 fee associated with it. I returned the truck just 20 minutes before the location opened for business the following morning, and I got changed the additional $20 fee for "After Hours Service." IF I had been told about the fee when the dropbox was originally pointed out to me, then I would have simply waited for 20 minutes for the store to open and then return the key without an additional charge. But, without communication and disclosure at the time of rental, I did not have the information to make that choice.Mark D.

There was a lot of online with my phone to be done as no one was there to take back the truck in person. Thank God my son was with me to take all the be pictures you need to take of the vehicle and the location and upload them and send them. Not all of us are good at sort of thing, especially old folks like me.Kim K.
