The reservation was for a 15' truck they gave me a 10' truck. The air condition in the truck did not work. The heat index was 105 on July 13, 2021. I drove this truck two hours with no air. requesting 1/2 my money back. I have contacted uhaul and have yet to hear back from anyone. Very poor customer service.JOYCETINE B.

Keep everything just like it is. " If it ain't broken, don't fix it " Everything worked great. I had a few problems making the drop days , because of delays with my workers meeting the deadlines. The lady in Raleigh, N. C. guided me thru the process to change my drop off day , without any extra charges.. I don't remember her name , but she deserves a bonus in her pay check.. The timeframe was Tue. 6/15 thru Thur. 6/17. I spoke with her several times working thru the process, she was a Godsend, and made the process wonderfully quick. The facility was closed and there were no signs or instructions posted for online check in. Waited 1.5 hours for customer service to change or update the facilities gps so that we could actually check out a filthy vehicle. We lost a good part of the morning and our rental time waiting. There was dental floss in the cup holder and cigarette buts and trash in the truck. I had to clean it before I put my personal items in it. In the days of COVID I would expect a little attention to wiping down a truck I'm spending good money on.Ingrid B.

When I returned the vehicle they person who took the key simply took the key and said that's all. Didn't look around the vehicle, didn't walk out to the vehicle, and didn't ask about the gas or mileage. Keep in mind I rented equipment that was on the vehicle when I dropped it off he did not ask about that either. A day later I get a bill for 210.00 claiming there was missing equipment. The customer service rep was very helpful and got it figured out and my money returned.Gary N.
The location is closed on Wednesday so I had to use the computer drop off procedure. It worked well. The location is neat, clean and very accessible since it is located on a major highway, Highway 58. .JOSEPHEDWARD T.
The owner and his wife went out of their way to make sure we got the truck and car trailer we needed. We had issues getting the vehicles and had our reservation transferred to a location that was much farther away. They called to let us know they were expecting a drop off that would fit our needs. Once the rentals arrived that we needed they called us immediately preventing a longer drive. We highly recommend Twin Lakes Outfitters in South Hill VaTracy C.

The place at the drop off location was closed with no sign or any information about the place hours, I spent over one hour on the phone just try to return the truck and trailer, first someone answer the phone and transferred me to someone else then that other person to a 3rd person and that person did Not want to provide his full name, today is Friday and still haven't received any information about the contact being close. The link for after hours return would be more helpful if sent out earlier. I had returned the trailer couple hours before I received the link. Since it uses your phone GPS and I was about 20 miles from rental location did not work for me.Richard B.
The staff at this location are very inexperienced and difficult to call. Worse yet, since the gate to the storage area is locked, we were unable to return the trailer either late Saturday or early Sunday which we had planned so when we returned the trailer on Monday as requested, we were charged 1 extra day rental for the convenience of Twin Lakes Outfitters. Either of the two locations in Clarksville would have been able to accommodate us. Note: The trailer was rented for the Bluestone Robotics Team for an off season competition to train the new Drive Team. I will never rent online again. It was a terrible experience. I paid online and was given location and time for pick up. 3 days later in informed I need to travel out of town to get truck 2 hrs later! 3 hours on phone with customer service to no avail.
