The right side rear view mirror was loose and it wouldn't stay adjusted so I wasn't able too see down the passenger side of the truck. Very annoying and unsafe.richard M.

Terrible experience picking it up. Doing everything on line, taking pictures, verifying 2nd contact were all a disaster. It took me 30 minutes in 9 degree weather to finally get the truck. Would never do that again. Also, the website crashed twice while I was doing it.Joseph E.

Drop box is broken so after hours drop off is very shady. You can barely find the office. When I called to check on the after hours drop off, someone answered the phone and said that it was NOT the UHaul at that location and had to call the main UHaul number to get them on the employees there. Would NOT recommend.Heather S.
This is the worst experience that I have had with U-haul and the drop off location was the worst location ever for any customer to drop a truck, there was no indication that the location was a U-haul location, the drop off lock box was hidden at the back of the bush. The location was not safe for any customer to be at any given time, there was no U-haul vehicle around area to actually give the customer an idea that the location belongs to U-haul. I spent hours running around trying to find the location, I probably came to the location more than five times or more while trying to location the address. Upon that, I was charged for an extra $47.00, I was never compensate for the gas because when I picked up the truck, it was almost empty, I barely made it to the gas station but when I returned the truck, I returned the truck almost half of the tank. This is the worst experience any customer would have, I will not recommend to anyone. TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE!! EXPERIENCE.George I.

I was told this location was open until 3 so I scheduled a 2.30 pick up. I called to say we would be 15-20 minutes late and there was no answer. When we arrived at about 2:44 there was no one there and it appeared that they had not been open for awhile. We had to use the app to pick up the truck, which was challenging as we had no wifi and my phone did not allow the app on it. It took about 40 minutes to check out. The location was on strange back roads yet in the city. Not very ideal...Ann S.

Very strange location, we were not sure it was really a U-Haul place. Really uncomfortable to go into. It is down an alley, around the back of a deserted looking building. There was a U Haul sign in the window but no one was around outside, and there were no U Hauls in the parking lot. Once inside the building you had to search around in this kind of vacant building to find the guy tucked in a little office. He was very nice, took care of everything, no problem. But if it wasn't daylight or if I were with a woman instead of my husband, I would absolutely not get out of the car at this very creepy location.Linda M.
The office was small and unkept. The person who did the check out was uncertain of the process and had to go through the entire task of entering the information I had provided online. They did not have the furniture dolly or packing blankets. I also had to hook up the trailer myself, the representative did not leave the office. I was referred to a huge U-Haul facility 1.5 miles away, where I passed several models of the trailer I rented. I don't understand why I was assigned to pick-up at the first location. When I walked in, they had no idea I was coming . They said ' oh yeah we have a pickup today.' They were all drinking coffee , on the phone and completely unprofessional. It took me almost 15 minutes of standing there before they finally even took my license . Also, they told me to return it that day by 8Pm. I had it back at 6:45, key dropped in the box, paperwork in box, and received THREE calls of why I didn't return it . Took them four days to mark that I returned it . I don't think uhaul should allow this company anymore to represent thier brand. I sure wouldn't , and would think twice before using uhaul again.SARAH M.

There was an issue with the gas cap and on our contract it stated they were aware of it and that we accept any damage that occurs. That isn't fair that we didn't know about this prior to picking up the truck and there were no others available.TIM M.
A random building tucked away at the end of a semi-paved road. The one attendant, while pleasant, was completely untrained and knew nothing that was helpful to me other than to call his uhaul's 800#. There I was directed to a proper Uhaul facility where Manager Chris Rivera answered all my questions, rang up the tow-bar connector required for my rental and then installed it for me. Chris could not have been any more professional or helpful. He is the only reason I would consider renting from Uhaul again. His customer service was notable and deeply appreciated.James S.

I called the drop off location the morning before it was due back to determine if I could drop it off tonight in a key drop. The person on the phone was barely understandable, did not indicate that I had even called the right number. I explained that I wanted to do a key drop after they had closed. I got a mumbled "yes" with no further instructions. I asked if I needed to leave anything else and the response was "no". After arriving at the location I noticed a small sticker on one of the entrances doors that said U-Haul. No other signage at all.The staired entrance was covered in ice and very dimmly lit. I was able to find a key drop slot. I was not impressed with the U-Haul drop location at all.CHRIS C.

This was the sketchiest and most uncomfortable uhaul service ive ever seen in my life. It was a brick building with no definitive signs that a uhaul business was there. There were men hanging around the building speaking some different language and a giant dog that hung around the "uhauls" office. I was also told by a man that worked there that someone would be there until 6 for me to know how much ill be billed and when I came to return my rental at 515, no one was there at all. I HIGHLY recommend a better location or something to improve your uncomfortable surroundings. Make your u haul business look more like its actually a u haul business.monica S.

Gas tank was only a little over half full when contract said it was at 3/4 full and needed to be returned 3/4 full. Also this particular location was very difficult to find as the street it is located on does not have proper identification at beginning of street.Rachel S.
We are never again doing business with uhaul! The truck we reserved a month in advance was not there. We had to take a smaller truck which completely disrupted our move causing it to be more costly. The trucks directional did not work properly. When we returned truck and spoke to employee how unacceptable our experience with uhaul was, he could have cared less, said "yah it sucks to work for them also"! I got worse treatment from uhaul not from the location. I wouldn't recommend uhaul to nobody. I go there first and the truck is available and they are forcing the guy that is helping me to rent it to someone else that got there after me. They treat their customers like crap. Truck was not ready when I went to pick up. I had to wait an hour for it to arrive. This did not seem to bother any of the employees. I was never told to refill the gas and upon my return was told that I had appeared to be intelligent enough to figure it out , but he must have been.wrong . I feel like uHaul pulled a bait and switch on me by not making it clear when I completed the transaction that I would have to go all the way to Springfield instead of Hartford as I requested. The people at the West Springfield location were very helpful, but I am disappointed in uHaul for not making it clearer before the transaction that I'd have to go nearly 80 miles (round-trip) out of my way to pick up the truck. Because of this, uHaul will not be my first choice for moving services next time.ANTHONY P.

First the phone number supplied on the website does not work. The location is close to impossible to find as it's in the back of an industrial complex with no visible signs to let you know it's a Uhaul place. The lights on the trailer didn't work. The guy working there didn't know how to hook up the trailer and made me do it myself. The trailer was stuck in the snow so we had to walk through the snow just to hook it up. Once we were done with the trailer we returned it however we got text messages the next day saying that we hadn't returned it even though we clearly did. I rent Uhaul trailers all the time and I have to say this way by far my worst experience. MikeMichael O.

Poorly run...the manager had no idea what he was doing.. I even had to make sure he was putting in the proper information..He constantly asked me if what he was doing seemed right...he over charged me twice and the truck data was input wrong when it was receeived from the last customer...he was jumbling a bunch of different things at once and it was just poorly organized. I will never use that particular uhaul again. I was very disappointed as I had to wait around for him to get to me when there was no one else there...it took me an hour when it should have taken 5 minutes..extemely disappointed.Joseph M.
