The cab of the truck was not cleaned out. There was a metal hanger under the driver seat, and I cut my leg on it and then fell out of the truck as a result. I have about a 3 inch cut on my leg, along with several bruises. I tried MANY times to call uhaul, but all I kept getting was a recording saying you were having technical difficulties. I was injured as a direct reault of the cab not being fully cleaned out and could not drive the truck for 3 days. That is why I had to keep it extra days. I got ZERO reaults or help when trying to call you.

Customer service would be needs much improvement. When a truck is not available at a particular location do not advertise that there is availability. MOST IMPORTANTLY MAKE SURE THE LIGHTS ARE WORKING WHEN YOU RENT A TRUCK TO SOMEONE DRIVING TWO STATES AWAY. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. I ALMOST CRASHED AND DIED DUE TO THE POOR QUALITY OF THE TRUCK THAT I SPENT $600 FOR!

The power outlets DID NOT WORK when I brought it to the attention of the Mgr all he did was shurrged his shoulders and said OH WELL , we are lucky to even have a truck ....wow maybe Ryder would have been a better choice for us....thanks

Attendant had trouble with the computer system even though I had done everything necessary previously on-line. She also had trouble getting the system to take my credit card info. I don't know if she was less than knowledgeable about the systems and process or if the systems are inferior in some way. But I worried that I would not get my dolly because of it. Thankfully, she figured things out.

It would be nice when you request a truck, moving pads, and a appliance dolly if U-haul could arrange for all the requested items to be at the pick-up location. In the past, I have had to go searching on the day I pick up a truck, trying too find the other items I need. U-haul used to be more customer oriented and responsive to the customer's needs. Something has changed dramatically in the last 3-4 years.

The transmission had difficulties shifting, especially up hill's to the point where I thought the motor would possibly explode. This may have resulted in excessive gas usage of this particular truck. The fuel tank was atleast 3/16 full when I acquired this particular truck.

You cancelled my initial reservation forcing me to take a smaller truck. I was due a 50 credit which has never been credited

I was very disappointed in the scheduling for the pickup of the uhaul. I reserved my truck 10 days in advance and was told I could pick it up at the site I selected. The day before pickup I called to get the details and was told my pickup location had changed to another destination 100 miles away. This is very poor management and scheduling and the only reason I kept the truck was it was to late to do anything else. I assume this means that reserving a truck and having that reservation confirmed means nothing to uhaul. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed in the way this was handled and will have to think twice before I ever use this service again. Also, the lady handling the reservations at the central office was not helpful nor even very nice when I talked with her. However, everyone else that I dealt with was very nice and did all they could to assist with the situation that was caused by uhaul. My cost was discounted by $50 due to the inconvenience but that hardly made up for the time and trouble their failure to manage properly caused.

The raising of the mileage rate 20 cents on the weekend is the one reason I will never use U-Haul again. It's not that I can't afford it, it's the principle. 240 miles on a Wednesday is the same as 240 miles on a Saturday.
