There was some inconsistency with the delivery of my box in Colorado. I was originally told a Saturday, 6/6 delivery to my new place. On Thursday, i get a call that said my box wont be delivered until 6/8, no explanation why. Then on Saturday morning, I got a text that it arrived and to call the office to schedule delivery but the text also said the office was closed on Sat/Sun... I called that # anyway and someone answered and said that it could be delivered on Sunday 6/7 instead. I said fine and asked about a partial refund since my box was late (it was picked up on 5/26). I was previously told via text that refunds issue at $50 per day late to Aurora. I asked the rep i was on the phone with how that would be sent to me and was told that i had to call the number that messaged me that… which was the SAME number I was already on the phone with. Then i was told i was given wrong info on the refund and there was no number to call, just text only. Huh??! THEN within minutes same day, i got another call back, from that same number, and this different person said my box COULD be delivered on Saturday 6/6. We had friends that were waiting to help us unload for Saturday and due to uhaul going back and forth over when we could get my box delivered, we told them to never mind… and then ended up having to unload everything ourselves after the box ended up arriving on time (they had went to go do something so we couldnt ask them to come back). It seems the only reason why i got my box on the original delivery date is because i inquired about a partial refund. Had I not, they probably would have kept it as Monday, 6/8. This delivery experience to the final location added unnecessary stress to my move that i did not need. So, I’d suggest more *consistent* communication. I still do not understand why they didnt just keep the original 6/6 delivery date from the getgo as that is what the original contract stated - why were they pushing for Monday after my box got to the Aurora warehouse? Ultimately, i still got it 6/6, but only after a lot of back and forth. I didnt care for that but again, at least i got my stuff and nothing was broke.

I ran into trouble driving cross country by myself. I got into a small hiccup and had to close out all my credit cards and issue a new one, I injured my ankle and this facility (Murfreesboro, TN) tried to tell me to go and pick up my container and try to hitch it when I told them I didn't have a car that could haul the container. This u-haul facility was not customer service friendly. Instead, when I finally paid it and set up delivery, they tried to set up the delivery 2 weeks in advance right when my storage for the u-haul box container was due. They were not accommodating at all and seemed to be angry that I got a hiccup. I have always had good experience with u-haul for 10 years. This is the first time my experience was horrible.

ubox over the years has been great. it took 6 weeks for the GM Robert to close my account. Very frustrating

Top to bottom, excellent customer service and special shout out to Robert at the Oceanside location. Only 'unresolved' issue was that even though the pods were returned much earlier in the month, there was no way to pro-rate the rent even though the pods were available to be re-rented.

Although the location accidentally gave away the one-way truck, they quickly remediate the situation and provided me a $200 credit for my inconvenience. Thank you for the quick resolution.
