If I had been greeted either time I entered at pickup or drop off instead of waiting for someone to acknowledge me, I would have given 5 stars. A "we'll be right with you" would be sufficient. Instead it took multiple employees walking past me (some back and forth) before anyone asked if I'd been helped.

The on-line experience is bad. It is not optimized for the phone & that is how most customers will access the service. There is no way to quickly find out who in your area stocks a 2-wheel car tow dolly. Why is that? Why is it not optimized for that? The best way to find out is to drive around w/ maps or word of mouth until you find a dealer that stocks one.... That's what I did, and it took a lot of time. The current phone tree process is untenable and unacceptable. The dealer on Broadway is outstanding!

I pulled up to the “Vehicle Return” spot, where a sign read to wait in your vehicle - a U-Haul person will be out, or words to that effect. I waited more than 5 minutes - no one came. So, I took a photo of the mileage in and fuel level, grabbed my contract and walked back to the office. There were four employees inside - it was hot outside. This was a one way trip - from Fairland, OK to Edmond, OK. I had three boxes and and an unused roll of packing tape I had purchased in Fairland and wanted a credit back. The first employee, a female, didn’t know how to give a credit back on my credit card - part of the problem seemed to be a different price for the roll of tape charged at Fairland $8.99 versus the price in Edmond of $6.95. But also, the billing was done through Automotive of Fairland Storage, which apparently was a different system from U-Haul. Then I very helpful gentleman looked at the problem and said the U-Haul system was telling him the only thing he could do was to give me a card with the credit on it that I could use only at U-Haul locations. He said that was unacceptable but didn’t know how to give a credit back on my card. He said he would call someone and try to figure out how to give the credit back. I had been inside for at least 20 minutes when my wife, who had come to pick me up and had been waiting in her car, came inside and asked what the problem was and why it was taking so long. I said I was going to call Tonia Roach at the Fsirland location as she has been doing this for 30 years, seemed to know the systems, and had been extremely helpful in our dealings with her - I thought she would know how to do the credit and could tell the man at the Edmond store what to do. She said she was going to call her AFM and would get back to me. The man in Edmond took my phone number and the information and said he would work on it (his manager was out on vacation) and promised he would get back to me. So, after a lengthy time in the office trying to get the credit , we left knowing that we had two people working on the credit and trying to figure out how to do it, and that one of them would get it done. It wasn’t long before Tonia called me and said she’d figured out what to do, and I quickly received two emails correcting the credit back to my credit card. Both locations were friendly and worked to get my credit done.

The online check-in process was frustrating. I spent about 30 minutes trying to complete it because some of the vehicle information didn't match what was actually on the truck. For example, the starting mileage was off by one mile, and the fuel gauge shown in the system wasn't an exact match to the vehicle. After correcting the information, the website froze on the final page and would not let me submit the updated details. I was eventually advised to leave it and proceed with the rental. As a result, the correct starting mileage and fuel level were never recorded, which made me concerned that it could affect the charges when I returned the vehicle. If I had only rented the truck for one hour, I would have lost half of my rental time just trying to complete the check-in. I also think the fueling instructions could be clearer, as it wasn't immediately obvious what fuel level I was expected to return the vehicle with. Aside from the check-in issues, the truck itself was great, and the overall rental experience was good.

I discovered some maintenance items on the auto hauler after I left. One of the straps was fairly frayed, the ground wire had been partially cut, and the left rear marker light was intermittent. I didn't judge it unsafe to use and the drop off location took care of the issues. But more attention to detail, especially on safety items, is warranted. I did appreciate the gentleman's tutorial on operating the auto hauler. It had been a few years since I used one and he did a great job giving me a refresher.

I asked the girl behind the desk why are you charging me $1.19/mile AND I still have to pay for fuel. She could not answer this question. Said It’s just what we charge all customers. Then said everyone has to pay that. I didn’t ask who pays this nor did I ask what customers pay this fee. I said to her Apparently you can’t answer this question so Whatever. She stomped off all huffed up, guess I taxed her brain asking questions about her job she couldn’t answer. Truck performed great, check in was easy.

Renting and pick up was great. Returning customer service was rough. Waited for 20+ minutes at the return location specified by signs. No one came out. Processed myself on the app. When I got tired of waiting, I began walking in and a rude worker told me to wait as he had other things to do. After waiting that long, I gave him my key and told him I was leaving and he could figure it out.

We did not like having to upload our licenses in the app at the store. It was glitchy and wasted time when a human in front of us could have copied the license quickly. Also, when I used the app on the road to hire movers, it kept giving me an error when I tried to check out. I then called the Edmond store to get someone hired. She did it fast for us. The truck worked well and the staff were great!

The facility is nice, moving in my unit was easy. Upon moving out, I felt that the customer service was poor. I emptied my unit and immediately went to the office to let them know, but nobody was in there. Every single staff member was outside, leaving the desk unmanned.

During my recent visit, the location manager, Nathan French, referred to me as “belligerent” in front of a sales representative named John. I attempted to address this unprofessional behavior by calmly asking him to spell the word. Rather than responding appropriately, Mr. French told me to “Google it.” For the sake of accurate documentation, I then asked Siri and also requested that John spell it. This interaction was deeply disappointing and by far the most unprofessional treatment I’ve encountered at this location. Additionally, I was previously charged for services that were never rendered, further compounding my frustration and dissatisfaction.

I wouldn’t store my lawnmower in that unit, let alone anything I value. The building in the parking lot is in such a terrible state, the parking lot has random vehicles in state of repair, the parking lot has pot holes and accessing the code panel is not convenient - nightmare. Very dodgy indeed and we did not live in. Unit had a terrible smell and ceiling damage and rodent droppings. The location did not feel safe for us to be there after sunset.

I wanted a drive up unit the entire time I had the storage it was difficult to use because I wasn’t able to access my belongings easily. If I had what I was told from the beginning I may have kept the unit. It was a lot more expensive than I was told also to match the size trailer I had at the beginning. I do have exactly what I want now somewhere else.

Whole process was convenient and website was accurate for what size truck would fit into a specific size of storage unit. Ease of access allowed for truck to be unloaded in 2.5 hours when it took 14 hours to load. Overall very good experience

We liked that we could get in at any time, and that it lit up as we walked through. Also so safe, in that we had to activate a card when going in, then if someone didn't de-activate their card, an alarm would go off. Very safe and convenient.

We went to move in and when we opened the door to the unit an alarm went off. We went to the front and asked and we were told that it’s ok it happened and it would stop in about 15 seconds. We did not know that we should have a swipe card and need to swipe in every time we go in. The staff is great it would just be better if we would have been told everything first. It would be better if the instructions were in the online check in.

The computer system was taking a long time to complete the process and my info wasn’t in the system so they had to re-do it and the workers were great, the server or system is very slow and difficult for us.

Storage unit was great, but for the truck rental they get ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD RATING AT ALL!!! ON THE APP IT SAID RENTAL OF TRUCK WAS GOING TO BE 18?.??; but when I was having issue with app and called customer service they said it would be same cost as app. We used credit card and when the statement came in it was $300. I called to get it resolved, but they said that the call recording didn't confirm my statement. If they'd fix their damned app and get everything straight, then maybe they'd get a good rating. But until then he'll no!! I got screwed out of money and they believe they're in the right. Guess that's how they run business. Not for me ever again!!!

Everyone was very helpful and thorough. They explained how to check in and check out, they walked us to our unit and they helped us turn in our trailer after we had unloaded it. Facility was very clean and organized. Excellent across the board.

Hours limited to office hours, staff required to remove lock from storage unit. Buildings being renovated trash and bldg. materials everywhere. Staff very friendly but also very busy.

When I rented the unit and was given the "max" card, the employee took me to where you use your card to turn off the alarm to your unit and showed me how to swipe the card but it didn't work as the computer probably hasn't had time to activate it yet. While doing that, I noticed the hours of operation were till 10pm. I asked the employee if we could access it after hours and he had told me yes, it was 24/7 access now that they had the security system. I felt relieved as my help wouldn't be available till about 4am. So we drive to the unit and looked all over to find a machine that would swipe out card and once found, I swiped it but the screen said to call office and it wouldn't give me access. When looking at the sign close to the card machine, it said that there wasn't access to your units until 5am. I was so tired from driving 6 hours etc that I got furious. Why would the employer tell me I could get in my unit any time with my card then I show up exhausted at 415am or so to hare to wait another 45mins to get in my unit. I spoke with the employee later that day and he said he didn't say that but I have 2 witness, 1 with me and 1 on the phone that heard him say it too. I was not happy. Then, I turn in the truck I rented on time and go home and was notified by my phone I had a $63 additional charge on my card I did not authorize. $33 for going over mileage that I did not know I had a limit as it was an out of state one way rental and a $25 cleaning fee as there was something green on the inside of the cargo area that was absolutely not caused by me. I own nothing green, has no green paint or stain to have caused that plus I moved the same load of belongings in a chair from that location to where I came back from with no green anything again and there was bo charge for cleaning due to something green being inside the cargo area. I called you to explain that I was never told I had a mileage limit going to the out of state town nor told I had a limit coming back from that out of state town. The cleaning fee isn't even debatable. I've ran over $1000 through your locations within a month and a half and feel I've paid you well what it was worth. Therefore I'm disputing the $63 unauthorized charge with my.bank if you won't credit me that back and you guys can work that out. To that end, I will never seek out rental equipment, vehicles or storage from you again and will never recommend you to anyone as I feel I was treated unfairly and charged an amount behind my back that is not justified. I was supposed to be contacted this morning from a regional supervisor regarding this matter but that time has come and gone. Thank you for reading. 1
