Align the online reservation system with the selected location. I had to re-reserve equipment all over again in store after completing the online reservation. Also, the manager or supervisor of this location is very unprofessional and her example seems to serve as the standard for the rest of the staff.

Just communicate a little better with the customer as far as what to upload to the link when renting a U-haul before the customer drives off the lot with the U-haul truck. This would alleviate a lot of confusion for customers returning the vehicle.

My only issue is that when it started raining, the windshield wipers on the truck did not work. One literally started coming apart so I had to turn them off. Needless to say, I could not see the road. It was a very dangerous situation.

Although the truck was clean, there was a leak coming from the roof. And I also think that something was off with the meter on the gas level. And in my opinion if a truck is given to the customer with under a 1/4 of a tank and they return it with more than how they received it, they should be credited more than $21.

They were very busy with returns on Sunday and the staff was very attentive as we returned our truck processing the return in an acceptable amount of time. I appreciated how they prioritized those picking up over those returning even though I had to wait a little longer.

I will say that I really like working with the Brother and Sister at the UHaul on Livernois because they really listen to the client, they show compassion and have a good work ethic. My suggestion would be to have workers who show compassion like the Sister and Brother. On my check out of the first uhaul the console to hold drinks was dirty like something greasy spilled, and the outside of the truck was dirty. Immediately the Brother switched out my truck and went to investigate the truck. The second truck was better. When I returned the truck I even brought pictures of a UHaul and Trailer that's been on my block for over a week because I know prices has gone up due to theft. And the sister was very concerned and took the license plate down. The bald head guy was nonchalant and wasn't as passionate as she was. I used the UHaul for my business hauling items for the Black Doll Museum, the Detroit Doll Show or Pillow Paint Parties so having the trucks clean inside and out is important to me.

Tire pressure warning light was on. Wind Shield washer fluid warning light was on. I had problem with ignition switch. Wind shield was cracked. Muffler was extremely loud.

The truck smelled like smoke which is a big issue for me. I knew I would only use the truck for two hours so I didn’t complain. The guy checking you in wasn’t rude but wasn’t friendly. He did his job. The guy checking the truck back in was friendly.

I use the Uhaul Livernois & 7 Mile location often to rent a van or truck to access my pottery and art storage. This is the BEST location for me! The staff is always pleasant and professional. They don't waste time and they get customers in and out quickly when the store is extra busy. James E checked me in at the desk on my most recent visit and gave me the best customer service (as always)!! James S was in the lot and made sure I located the correct Uhaul van. He was pleasant and helpful (as always). Thank you, Lisa R.

My cargo van was filthy seats stain wet wet god knows what steering wheel full of foul substance order in van foul. Customer service was good Chris did a good job. Otherwise second time in a month I got bad service have a credit nobody knows how to process. Inexcusable.

I had to cancel my storage unit because I physically couldn’t climb those stairs. There need to be an elevator in this facility which would make it easier to move in and out. I called UHaul main number explained my situation she sent email to the manager about a ground level unit. No response or call from manager even after I emailed him about a ground level unit. I have since found another storage unit at a different facility with an elevator which met all of my needs.

I am very disappointed with the manager and I think he could have handled the situation better. I reserved a storage unit and put a card on file a month ago, I packed my truck up and went to move in and there was no unit reserved for me, but they had all my info saved in there system. I spoke with management and he had no solution to accommodate me and I ended up having to spend a extra $150 for there negligence

I wish I had the choice but to bet a heated storage. It was 92 outside and 90 degrees inside. I was soaked wet by the time my fiancé and I were done. Not sure why there is need for a heated storage in the summertime.

Lots of upgrade at the location since my last visit there! I was in storage for approximately 8 or 9 years at the Livernois Loc and coming back this year for a storage room I was lost at first: the upgrades to the Bldg is awesome!

The staff who I first got the uhaul storage unit was AMAZING! The check out staff particularly the Caucasian man was rude, not helpful and combative instead of assisting when the gates and doors wouldn’t open with my key! He just kept saying I was doing it wrong which I wasn’t and that he has a work order in.. It was 93 degrees outside and I kept having to go back and forth to the office to get into my storage unit…

Staff went above and beyond in conflict resolution and made sure my experience was less stressful as humanly possible. Even with mix ups from corporate the 7 mile staff stepped in with accountability and not only fixed the issues but also assured me as a consumer. Quality customer care is hard to come by which is why I only deal with this particular location. The staff are welcoming and upbeat , the facility is always spotless and theres never a problem that isn’t fairly Negotiated !

During peak hours, the waiting time for assistance can be extraordinarily long, and all team members may not be trained or empowered to handle all transactions. This was actually my 2nd trip. I had come in the day before to pay my storage bill and reserve an additional storage unit, waited in line for 30 minutes, only to be told I'd have to return the following day because the team member was not able to service self-storage account matters.
