I also got multiple text messages about checking in on line the day before the rental. I kept going on line and it said I was already checked in. I had to call the location to make sure everything was OK. They told me to ignore the text messages.

The website was about a container short in its recommendation of what we should have used for containers, but we made it work.

Kay HI had rented your pick up truck paid 60 some dollars tried to call to let you know that I was late one day and now you’re charging me $97 just for being one day late and we washed it we cleaned it out. I made sure the gas was in it and then you’re also trying to take $139 out so I don’t think I would go to this location again yes it may have been my fault for being late but I thought I would only get charge like $20 but not $97 plus another $139 that you guys are trying to take out.

Todd DHighly recommend this storage. I probably cannot ask for anything better! I initially came in with an insurance option, but I dropped the insurance the next month after realizing how secure this storage was. It is that great. I have used this storage for a little more than a year, but I’ve never had any theft issue. It is very well secured with a gate access, CCTV camera monitoring, alarms, and a disc lock. Also, the storage is very well lit and clean. The rate was very affordable. It was about $50 a month for the smallest storage, but that was all I needed. If you are looking for a storage in Peoria area, I highly recommend this storage.

He and his two workers worked at a very good pace and remain that way all day. I have already recommended him to the person who will be moving into the house we sold. I will be using him again in two weeks to move our storage locker contents. I will continue to recommend and his crew.

It is easy to get the U-Haul trucks backed into the loading dock which is inside so nothing gets wet if it is raining or snowing. They have plenty of quality carts to transport your furniture, boxes, etc to and from the storage units. We used the climate controlled units and the temperature was good with low humidity. The staff is very professional, helpful, and friendly.

Him providing additional space in short notice and allowing the loading of a bigger than normal truck in the deck made a significant difference in my customer experience. Also, having all the moving stuff (boxes, tape, etc. ) in stock helped with saving time. I’d recommend this U-Haul branch any time. Only recommendation goes towards making the safety access process bullet proof. When moving my stuff the security system didn’t recognize my code. Time was 11 pm and there was no one to get help from. The phone number in the security boxes was useless. The person answering the call did not provide any help. Movers had to take my stuff in their truck and return next day.

Instead your system automatically slapped me with a $23 late fee when no payment was received. I was able to call the store to resolve the matter quickly. However, your computer system needs to flag and warn any customers with expiring credit cards on file before the payment due date to avoid this hassle of reversing the late fee.

At a different location out of town, and not managed by Uhaul, my mother's belongings had mouse droppings and damage to the boxes. Not so with Uhaul. If you've got stuff and you want a fair price as well as clean, secure space, ask for Al Jabar at the Allen Road Uhaul in Peoria, IL.

Unfortunately, mine was one of those in the immediate vicinity. Every box and plastic item smelled for weeks after removal. If you must have sprays please ensure that they are scent free!!!!

The facility is well maintained too. The one in Georgia I rented that flat tire trailer had razor blades on the ground and junk all over. Never at Al’s store. 100% satisfied with my storage.

Kira K | Overall ExperienceI went in and reserved a unit with Al. He showed me the unit and was very easy to to work with. Went in yesterday to pay and move some stuff in. The girl working the counter said I did not have a reservation. I said I had talked to Al on phone twice and he said my unit was reserved. She put me in a unit way in back and said mine was no longer available. I then walked by unit reserved and saw that it was! She blamed Al and seemed put out to change my paperwork. She also did not show me how to work alarm. She provided poor customer service to someone who has never rented a unit.
