When we arrive me and my son, the lady at the register was very helpful and nice. The truck was clean. She explained every detail of what to do when bringing the truck back the environment in the U-Haul place was clean outside was clean and I like how they have a area where they check the truck when you return it nice experience in and out

There was no discussion whatsoever about being charged for traveling more than 30 miles. Had we known that ahead of time, we never would have rented a truck here. Very disappointed in the transparency and lack of communication. Will not be recommending to anyone .

First off, the two people who helped at the front desk of this location were great. My review is based solely on the installation job. There was no walkthrough on where electrical parts were installed. The hitch mount, ball and pin were not installed or even in the car. I had to go back and ask for these parts. Biggest issue though, is that I now have to go to a garage to fix and remount the exhaust. When leaving this location we noticed a terrible sound and on inspection one of the two mufflers was dragging and neither were reattached to the vehicle.

The service I received from your agent Coron was excellent, he was helpful and made things go smoothly. He got us hooked up and we were on the road. He was there when we returned and got the trailer off. We will come back when we need a trailer or truck and hope he is there to serve us again

I made the reservation weeks in advance and then got a call a few days before saying my equipment was not available at the location I selected and I would have to go some place else. That some place else was not convient at all and it made me mad that when I booked it the website did not tell me it was not available.

The app is not user friendly AT ALL. However the people working were able to figure out the info the app wasn't giving us. Why have the app if it makes things more confusing for the customer and the workers.

Overcharged for something I didn’t do such as a cleaning fee. My truck was well cleaned out and I only used it for a few hours. Tire pressure had issues. Staff drove the truck on a curb to get it out for me because they didn’t have a key to move the one that was blocking it. I was charged $300+ for hidden fees. I have never paid that much ever and I have used uhaul service for years. Never going to this location ever again.

I had confirmation for a van with a reservation number. It wasn’t there, had to get a 10ft truck. . I had three different vehicles due to auto problems. The truck I ended up with was horrible driving, needed alignment, tire pressure not good. Very afraid to drive. I called several times and dropped it off. I shouldn’t have to wait for repairs while traveling. I had to bring a vehicle back because service light came on. Horrible! The staff was nice however. Just horrible vehicles. I was told I would receive a 50.00 credit. I put 94.00 in gas. Only used half tank, too afraid to drive the truck. SAFETY FIRST.

Truck was on empty at pick up. Brought truck back on empty after putting in 4 gallons of gas after driving 28 miles. U-Haul charged me $33 extra for putting in 6 gallons of gas!

Had issues with my original reservation at Metro Pantry on Locust. App was failing and store wasn’t open more than an hour after the posted opening time. Call wait time for help was more than 30 minutes. I came to the store on Capitol and (i think his name was) Coran was so helpful and accommodating and speedy. I had a new truck within 10 minutes. He did such a great job.

While the equipment was clean and well Maintained the 112000+ miles showed. The engine would shift and I wondered if it was going to stall out. Also the service tire light was on. Glad I was never more than 10 miles away from Anyone.

You can improve your network speed in your app, your 24/7 services really suck. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 5AM and ended up picking up at 8AM due to failing multiple phone calls after I was told a lie that I would get my key access code the night before my pickup date.

I rented the truck online. The truck was block in by another truck with no battery when I got there . Had to wait extra hour or more for them to swap out a different truck. Was late to my job because of the delay. Customer service wasn't the greatest doing this time either. Disappointing

When I asked about why there was a price difference between the online reservation and the cost of what I was charged at pickup nobody seemed to know why. It was the gas discount IF you brought the truck back with 1/4 tank. Something they should have known and told me about, especially because I asked specifically. Also, the tank had 2 miles worth of gas in the tank when I started it up. Lucky there’s a gas station across the street.

The right rear view mirror would not stay in position which made it a little dangerous on the freeway plus there was no cover on the gas tank.

The staff were great but the truck was given to use with 1/4 of a tank of gas and the low tire pressure light on. They suggested we look at the mileage before and after our drive to track what we used but you could not see the mileage with the tire light on. It was also unsettling to drive the big truck on the freeway when it was loaded with stuff wondering if you are going to end up with a flat tire. Thanks

Regarding your second question, the facility was poorly lit and the storage space itself had no lighting at all. While the location had basic security (door) the site is in poor condition and it didn't feel very safe there.

Over the years of my storage stay I have seen managers and workers come and go. For many years the staffing was of poor quality, lazy wor k hrs, just clock punches doing the bare minimum. The facility used to I be filthy and there was junk always at the back entrance. I will note the over time Dominic has really turned the U-Haul facility around It's cleaner, the back hallway doesn't have loads of broken furniture or broken glass. The area is now free of debri, the dock or back hallway.that Is. The outside looks cleaner too, but It always seems to be a struggle keeping the outskirts of the store litter free, but again there has been a lot of improvement. The staff are much nicer and there I s a gentlemanwhom had worked for the capjtal U-Haul store for sometime and he Is always kind, helpful and friendly. Recommendations: The walls Inside the back facilitycould use some new drywall. A few off the walls are damaged. I would like to give a big shout out to Dominic, thank you for the great customer service Dominic and all your hard work. Your longevity there and hard work has paid off, the store has made vast Improvements over the years and your staff seem to respect you as manager In high regards. I know this because It shows In how the address you and speak of you Dominic. Way to go.... .

Extremely unkept and bugs (roaches) got into my unit from another one causing me to have to through and throw a lot of things away. I only had my unit barely 4 months and no one seemed to be concerned or care about the big problem. People are even hiding out and living in there outside of store hours, it’s hot and humid. It’s also expensive for the unit that I had with no light inside the unit. It’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t put a table in there even if it was the last place that had availability.

Horrible experience. May I add the first one. Was doing a truck and storage rental. The manager was Horrible did not give me as quoted." Quote" we did not have the unit she wanted so I just her one" quote." When I expressed my disappointment she was very rude and did not accommodate me at all. Of course I was upset because I had movers there and it was a big inconvenience.had to find another option that lead to sufficiently more miles and time. Please train your atority how to handle customer complaints accordingly especially when it's their error. Thank you uhaul and I will continue business limited..

Horrible was given the wrong storage by the manager. Than when I complained about her mistake she refused to give me another unit at another place because they in fact did not have the actual space there. So my mover had to reload all the stuff and I was left without anywhere to put my belongings. Of course I was upset I just believe she was totally at fault and should have corrected her mistake. Poor I received a forced unauthorized upgrade to my storage facility. Was not able to successfully speak with the manager to resolve the issue. I called and stated I did not want the climate controlled upgrade. Staff said they documented my refusal to upgrade. I received bill charged at increased rate for upgrade. Multiple attempts to reach manger unsuccessful. No one could find any documentation of my call to refuse upgrade. So after four years of storing I cleared out my storage and would look for another option in the future if needed.
