Storage building is waterlogged and flooded. My inventory for business was wet ant mold started to overtake the items. I had to discard a number of things and deep clean others. It was a smelly mess. I saw water was standing in the hallway and the roof of the building has buckled from water. The building needs to be rebuilt.

Had an issue where the guy working said he would take care of the return and after about 3 weeks I realized it was still showing as active on my account but I contacted customer service and got it straightened out and took care of my receipt. Thanks for the help.

The GM Ja’Marcus was 30 minutes late opening the store. I was paying someone to assist me in moving which cost me an extra $100 due to being late. He stated he had a terrible last 2 weeks. Im sorry, my father died 2 days prior and I rented this truck to move my niece to help my 87 year old mother. There was also another customer waiting as well. This is a business first and foremost and personal issues must be secondary. Unacceptable on all counts.

The rep I worked with Sunday was great, but the store was way too busy to have just one employee. No walk through was done with me. I was dropped off so there was no one with me to assist in my own walk through and I wound up leaving with a vehicle that had no taillamps on the back. When I called in the next morning to inquire about how they maintained the vehicles to be sure they are rest for the next customer the rep just told me I received a text message telling me I was supposed to do an equipment check before I left. While I understand I had my own responsibilities that I failed to do because I was alone the company also has a responsibility so I didn’t appreciate my question being answered solely on my part of what was wrong. I would like the company to take ownership of their part.

I had a storage full of belongings and had to carry all my possessions down stairs do to the elevator not working for almost a month how I know I’ve been having to come get my possessions a piece at a time for the whole month and it still wasn’t fixed up to 4/2/25 my checkout day 🤦🏾‍♂️and the excuse was always different reasons

Make it easier for people to get key out of lock box.. spent 30 minutes trying to get it open and consider running a special for people who are using your trucks from state to state travel.. 89 cents a mile is way too much when you use to do free mileage.. that adds up !!

Elevator was down for months. Staff can be rude at times. When asked about elevator repair I was told it wasn’t their fault. Had to walk up and the stairs about 15 to 20 to move out a storage full of heavy items. Poor service all around is why I left and will never recommend anyone.

Had nothing but issues with trailer. Got told the road side insurance would make it so if anything happened, they would make our service a priority ans would fix it or solve issues with no questions. Waited with 3 kids under age 10 in a gas station with 3 dogs a cat and car full of our family's stuff and called for assistance that again took hours to be solved got told a mechanic would be to oir location within a hour got sent a tow truck then spent 90 .ore mins on the phone while UHAUL tried to figure out something. Got told trailer is not safe to drive then got asked to drive it 35 mins away to a different store to get a replacement trailer, after we got to it we had to unload and reload a trailer in alambama where the trailer we got was smaller and we had to rent a storage in alabama to fit some of our belongings and have to find a way to get them. Then we get told UHAUL will pay us 250$ to move trailers and for all the issues and time lost and spent and all the lies given to us that we would have our full trailer rental refunded and now we still yet to get the 250$ and are being bounced from 3 different locations being td by customer service who said they already approved our refund that the stores will refund it and none of the stores say its their issue. IF THIS ISNT SOLVED I WILL BE GOING TO BBB AND TAKING FURTHER ACTIONS.

My overall experience was great, the gentleman that assisted me was very professional and nice. Although what I reserved wasn’t available, he went above and beyond to accommodate my request as well as called around to nearby locations to see if they had the size that was on my initial reservation. My only complaint is I reserve a particular size U-Haul only to find out when I arrived that the size I reserved wasn’t available along with the equipment that was reserved. That was very upsetting and cause me to make more trips than expected.

No improvement was needed in my case. The checking time was very efficient. Manager was active and involved in paperwork and immediately hooking up trailer. Insured all safety protocols and answered any questions. Same manager was on duty when I returned trailer, and had assistant outside within seconds of return. The only thing I would like to see is a door installed on other side of building where customers return with equipment. Thank you for a good experience and a good price.

Staff was incredibly friendly, but had issues with truck cleanliness and truck was infested with ants. I was able to get in touch with customer service and file a claim and everyone was super helpful just wish this was noticed prior to getting truck as I had to fumigate furniture for ants. Other than that staff is awesome!

Some of the staff members were nice, others were rude. I moved out of my unit on the 14th of July and the move out has just now been processed. The facilities were dirty and smelled of mildew and mold and most of my items were trashed due to mold and mildew build up even though they were in containers. I asked about a refund for the remaining portion of the month since I only used it for 14 of the 31 days and was told by the store manager no but was told by customer service it's up to the managers discretion. Considering I was only late on payments maybe 3 times the entire year and a half I paid for the storage unit I would assume that a refund on half would be a reasonable request. I don't usually leave negative reviews but this experience left a very poor taste in my mouth for renting storage units. I've never had issues with renting a truck/cargo van.

The general manager was alone doing the job of three people. She’s overwhelmed, overworked and stressed as well as frustrated but she did get the job done. She was yelled at, cursed at and humiliated in front of other customers. She was helpful, and thoughtful through it all and kept her composure throughout the whole ordeal. But she did arrive late several times and we did have to be in the line for hours.

My experience with Ms Vivian was the best professional customer service I’ve had since my dealings with Uhaul. She’s very knowledgeable, considerate and patient, she goes above and beyond call of duty, she will also listen to your personal (I know she don’t get paid for that :-) but it’s the principle) I love how veracious she is about doing her job. She deserves all the stars…. Oh and a raise 💪🏾 for being able to do it with Grace. She don’t know I recommended that, so don’t tell her. Lol

I moved out on May 5th to be called May 10th to ask when and if I moved after calling with move out date to be noted on the account May 1st and spoke to associates from May 1st to the 5th as they watched me move everything out. Went to return uhaul and place my belongings in storage, there were two employees present in which neither could help assist in my return of my uhaul or my storage unit. Waited for the manager who was on a store run for supplies for about 45 minutes to an hour, in which she returned with candy. My family and I were very inconvenienced. Not only that but one of the employees present stated that the manager tends to make runs or errands frequently during store hours. I would not recommend this store to anyone on a time crunch!

I chose a storage unit that was accessible from the street and the location does not offer those units in the size i needed contrary to what the website stated when i reserved it. The elevator system wasted a lot of time because someone had to always run up the stairs to ride the elevator back down to make it available for use

Wow, can’t say how happy I was with the service I received at this location. As soon as I walked through the doors Daniel and Nathan were there to greet me at the door. What a truly amazing staff they have here! Nathan immediately had me set up and ready to unload my belongings and was communicated the process clearly along the way. Thanks Daniel and Nathan for making a post mid life crisis newly divorced gold-digger magnet feel like the grass was actually still fkn green on my side. Used the Centerpoint facility to store mom’s things after she passed away in 2017. The facility was accessible, secure, convenient with online or auto payment. Never had any issue or concerns over security of contents. If you are in northeast side of Birmingham highly recommend

Very Rude Customer service coming from the Manager! Ms. Rachel could not reach over the box so she kept tossing my Daughters driver license and storage key back to her instead of giving it back to her like how my daughter gave it to her. Ms. Rachel was very non understanding when it came to bad situations leaving me in a financial deficit because she did not stick to her word of the one month free.
