Storage building is waterlogged and flooded. My inventory for business was wet ant mold started to overtake the items. I had to discard a number of things and deep clean others. It was a smelly mess. I saw water was standing in the hallway and the roof of the building has buckled from water. The building needs to be rebuilt.

Im sorry, my father died 2 days prior and I rented this truck to move my niece to help my 87 year old mother. There was also another customer waiting as well. This is a business first and foremost and personal issues must be secondary. Unacceptable on all counts.

TYRONE TThe rep I worked with Sunday was great, but the store was way too busy to have just one employee. No walk through was done with me. I was dropped off so there was no one with me to assist in my own walk through and I wound up leaving with a vehicle that had no taillamps on the back. When I called in the next morning to inquire about how they maintained the vehicles to be sure they are rest for the next customer the rep just told me I received a text message telling me I was supposed to do an equipment check before I left. While I understand I had my own responsibilities that I failed to do because I was alone the company also has a responsibility so I didn’t appreciate my question being answered solely on my part of what was wrong. I would like the company to take ownership of their part.

ALEXANDRIA LElevator was down for months. Staff can be rude at times. When asked about elevator repair I was told it wasn’t their fault. Had to walk up and the stairs about 15 to 20 to move out a storage full of heavy items. Poor service all around is why I left and will never recommend anyone.

Got told the road side insurance would make it so if anything happened, they would make our service a priority ans would fix it or solve issues with no questions. Waited with 3 kids under age 10 in a gas station with 3 dogs a cat and car full of our family's stuff and called for assistance that again took hours to be solved got told a mechanic would be to oir location within a hour got sent a tow truck then spent 90 .ore mins on the phone while UHAUL tried to figure out something. Got told trailer is not safe to drive then got asked to drive it 35 mins away to a different store to get a replacement trailer, after we got to it we had to unload and reload a trailer in alambama where the trailer we got was smaller and we had to rent a storage in alabama to fit some of our belongings and have to find a way to get them. Then we get told UHAUL will pay us 250$ to move trailers and for all the issues and time lost and spent and all the lies given to us that we would have our full trailer rental refunded and now we still yet to get the 250$ and are being bounced from 3 different locations being td by customer service who said they already approved our refund that the stores will refund it and none of the stores say its their issue. IF THIS ISNT SOLVED I WILL BE GOING TO BBB AND TAKING FURTHER ACTIONS.

Although what I reserved wasn’t available, he went above and beyond to accommodate my request as well as called around to nearby locations to see if they had the size that was on my initial reservation. My only complaint is I reserve a particular size U-Haul only to find out when I arrived that the size I reserved wasn’t available along with the equipment that was reserved. That was very upsetting and cause me to make more trips than expected.

CARY SNo improvement was needed in my case. The checking time was very efficient. Manager was active and involved in paperwork and immediately hooking up trailer. Insured all safety protocols and answered any questions. Same manager was on duty when I returned trailer, and had assistant outside within seconds of return. The only thing I would like to see is a door installed on other side of building where customers return with equipment. Thank you for a good experience and a good price.

The facilities were dirty and smelled of mildew and mold and most of my items were trashed due to mold and mildew build up even though they were in containers. I asked about a refund for the remaining portion of the month since I only used it for 14 of the 31 days and was told by the store manager no but was told by customer service it's up to the managers discretion. Considering I was only late on payments maybe 3 times the entire year and a half I paid for the storage unit I would assume that a refund on half would be a reasonable request. I don't usually leave negative reviews but this experience left a very poor taste in my mouth for renting storage units. I've never had issues with renting a truck/cargo van.
