THEY DIDNT HAVE MY RESERVATION, THEY GUY REALLY DIDNT TRY HARD TO FIND A TRUCK I WAS NEEDING, HE PASSED IT OFF TO THE TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT, AND REALLY DIDNT SEEM TO CARE THAT MY RESERVATION WAS LOST/NOT MADE WHATEVER, AND WASNT VERY HELPFUL. I HAD TO DRIVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION 25 MILES AWAY GET A TRUCK AND COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION AND GET A TOW TRAILER FOR MY CAR, THE GUY THAT WAS THERE WHEN I GOT BACK, WILLIAM PORTER JR....WAS VERY NICE, VERY HELPFUL AND WENT BEYOND WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE TO HELP ME.

On return, business was not staffed for a 7am opening. Manager showed up at 7:50. 50 minutes past published store open time of 7 am. Police was called for suspected foul play. A very unnerving experience from a customer point of view.

Had a 7 am pickup arrived early and was the only customer on lot , and I had pre checked in the night before. Once clerk took my reservation information he walked all over lot checking equipment mileage and looking in the back of units for 15 min or longer , before showing me my rental and getting me on the road ? Took way to long

I was trying to return truck on Saturday morning. Should have taken 5 minutes. The line was about 15 people and they only had one attendant who had to go outside with every customer. I waited in line for 1 hour and 10 minutes. On a Saturday especially at the first of the month, they should have more attendants. There were a lot of unhappy customers.

The only problem was the smell in the truck cabin. Whatever was used to deodorize/clean the truck was to strong and caused headaches.

Better customer service on the back end of a transaction. Here is my reason for such a comment. I returned the following day to pick up the balance of my deposit at exactly 7:01 pm , the agent on the premises was dealing with customers that arrived before I did clearly before the location closed and did not assist them I also received the same treatment but he was still carrying out his duties obviously not closed to the average person if you see someone working. When I returned my money was already dispersed to a check that was mailed. I would have preferred to have it returned the same way delivered to the agent me to them.

They did not load dolly or furniture pads in the truck and I had to make another trip to that location to get pick them up. An additional 40 miles on a busy day when I picked up the truck, uhaul rep told me the truck was ready.

Uhaul at Center point was well organized and efficient. The center had a lane specifically for returns and personnel were on the spot to receive the equipment. I was in and out of the center in 5 minutes. Thanks for a job well done.

The truck was clean but it had a really bad exhaust leak. You had to roll both windows all the way down just to drive the truck!

On my final receipt I was charged double for my safe move when I had a charge of $14 on my original receipt, and then when I received my final receipt through email it was a $28 charge. I can not stand a thief!!! If you stole $14 no telling what else you will steal from my account.

I will not choose U-HAUL again. My pick up location was changed three times without informing me and the final location was 30 minutes in the wrong direction from where I was moving. Support staff was argumentative with my complaint.

Both where I picked up and dropped off were excellent. The scheduling and "upgrades" were horrible. First, I am upgraded to a 26 ft truck from 15. Then the promised pick up in Birmingham didn't materialize. If fact, the folks at Vestavia Hills were not helpful in any way. After complaint with schedulers, the north Birmingham location was scheduled. For the scheduling issues, I am hesitant to recommend or use U Haul again.
