Did explain the process. Just said have it back Sunday. Didnt say by 7pm. Then i was charged extra. I sit at the location for almost a hour trying to figure out to return this trailer. Then on the phone with the girl that help me with the return another 45 min. I dont believe i will use uhaul anymore. The girl told me someone would call me about the extra charges on yesterday n no one ever called..

I got there to pick up my tow dolly and was denied owner refused to let me pay for and take the dolly I had to drive 3 hours round trip back to Chesapeake just to get a tow dolly. Called and filed a complaint and never heard anything else about my complaint again…

The day that I returned the vehicle, I was texted that the vehicle will be reported stolen to the Petersburg Police Department after payment was processed for still having the cargo van. When I responded, an automated system response was generated informing me to contact the 1800 # or go online.

Saladen WVery positive experience renting a tow dolly. The lady at the counter was pleasant, professional and efficient. I was in and out on the pickup and return in no time. The price was fair, the dolly worked well. Really nothing could have been better. A+
Robert DI filed an insurance claim for water that leaked into the storage unit and my leather love seat and two large leather chairs were mildew damaged. The upholstery cleaners all stated that they could not clean it or restore the pieces. The insurance company wanted receipts showing the purchase price for the pieces. I did not have that information because that was over three years ago. I ended up having to take the pieces to the local dump. The Uhaul employee did inspect the unit (3002) and did confirm that there was a spot on the floor and further explained that the roofing may have caused the leak.

That lady was really nice and she worked with us because we kept missing our deadline but I ran into issues with the leasing office and my keys. And the young lady who rented us the usual at pick up was cool. She said it wasn’t her store it was just temporary. But it was the friendliness and the professionalism. Every time I book I don’t have to wait at all. Always a smooth process. Thanks you guys ;)

After brief inquiry of my situation she was able to professionally resolve my issue. Had she not taken the concern for what I needed, no telling what type of fiasco would have resulted. Also to add the staff/ associate’s were very courteous, pleasant and efficient. You would have to attribute this as well for Ms. Evans. This type of management is a value add to any company, but I sure am truly thankful I received this excellent service. I would recommend this location as well as U-HAUL to friends and family alike. KYNETTA B | First ImpressionsTo start off I was very disappointed with uhaul on Timberlake road in Lynchburg. I was assigned a truck then given a key and pretty much just told to go find the truck. I sent my brother back inside to see where the truck should be and the store associate told him either in the front line or on row B . When went to look for it the truck was nowhere to be found so my brother had to go in a second time and they finally get up off their butt and come outside to help look for the truck. The truck was on the other side of the parking lot nowhere near where the associate said it was. Next I get down to location on oaklawn boulevard in hopewell Virginia and tell them I have a reservation for a 10x20 they tell me they don’t have any available. I ask why would they allow someone to book something they don’t have. They tell me online doesn’t know what they have and the system is in so many words jacked up. They then call to the location close to them and they didn’t have any either. He then called Petersburg crater road location and they say they have one so I had to drive all the way to that one (using more mileage) which I’m sure they won’t deduct from the pay. After all of this, I doubt I will do business with uhaul again because this was all very unprofessional

walter b | First ImpressionsMy property inside the unit was wet and started to mold as if the storage had flooded at some point also I called and asked to have an extension for my payment and they made a note of it but still took the money out I also feel the cost is beyond reasonable I moved to a storage the same size and pay 46 dollars a month for it also if your payment is late they put a lock on it that day it’s late but you have to wait til they feel like taking there lock off or will give you the key to take there lock off and have you bring it back I do not recommend anyone using this storage facility

I really would recommend them for all your moving and storage needs! It’s really nice having a free month of storage when I used the uhaul truck for my one way move. It’s a costly thing to do and that expense free of charge really helped! And 1 last thing, the public restroom was a great plus too. Moving is a dirty job. After a hot summer day moving boxes and furniture it was handy and helpful having a restroom facility on premises. It’s the small things that matter most. The first to ladies that helped me stated I could keep the same unit but when I went to use my 2nd free month storage on 8/4/2020 the young lady Maria told me I couldn’t use my free month on the same unit I had to take all my stuff that was in the storage unit and move to another unit and I could not put it in my name.. I really thought that was stupid to move from one unit to another when I rented the truck 2 times in my name. I had heavy furniture in the unit and I had to move from that unit in order to get the promotion that uhaul supplied to its customers...Maria wasn’t helpful at all but everyone one else was....
