Maria Si reserved a trailer that routed me to Anderson Tow. i went to pick it up and they didn't have it. about 10 minutes later i got a call that they found a trailer for me at Tamoshanter location. it went well. the pick up and drop off process could be faster. it seemed like i was the only one remotely in a hurry.
JAMES KShort staffed. One person to do paperwork and then help hook up trailer. Lights inoperable, then they had to dig out another unit. Changed paper work and people were waiting for their turn. After loading trailer right tire signs of being low. Stop to air up and showed 20 lbs. Days later to return unit at 7am and no one showed up tell 7:30 with workers waiting for them to open. I’ll return with to rent again and hope they hire more staff to prevent problems that mite arise. Thank you

SIMON GIt was all good. I returned my rental trailer just before closing and the young lady generously checked it in for me. So very nice for her to do that for me a 70 year old man.
GREGORY MI had the best experience with U-Haul. My "tire issue" light kept popping on during my very lengthy move (!). I was driving alone, so naturally, I freaked out. I pulled into the next city and went straight to U-Haul, which was conveniently located next to the freeway. They checked my tires, my cargo, gave me a bit of air and I continued. The light issue is my sensors, but OMG was U-Haul fantastic during my move. When I got to Yuma, AZ, the manager was also very friendly and helpful. They set up a storage unit for me for a month and let me go at the end of that month (After learning the land in the area, I needed a unit closer to where I'll be). I have only love for U-Haul based on the experience of these people.

ROMEO PThe sign said $49 for a 26 foot. I paid $80.00 and some change with a portion of it being a deposit. Then because I went 3 miles over the "estimated" mileage I was asked to quote I ended up paying around 3-5 dollars more. I put no dings or dents, returned it as loaned, and put more gas than used in it I was charged more!!!!!!!!! And no deposit back!

JERICO DI reserved a 6x12 trailer with a ramp. The trailer had a flat tire and I had to downgrade to a 5x9 with a ramp. I reserved an appliance dolly. My primary mission was to love appliances. There was not one available at time of rental. I had to downgrade to a utility dolly. I think it’s reasonable to expect that equipment on my reservation is available and in good condition. U-Haul missed the mark for both items.

JERICO DNothing, my experience was great.
VICTOR CI take part of the blame however it would of been nice to be reminded that the towing equipment MUST be returned to the original pickup location. I wasted my only day off driving 2and half hours back to return the equipment. Then of course on the way back to return, I got hit and the guy drove off, and he ended up breaking the equipments taillight Overall, price was good, I just don't appreciate being charge $500+ to return the equipment (if not returned to the original location.
TRISTAN SI was here for about 2 hours. They had multiple issues while I was there. First they didn't have any of the dollies I had reserved and then they had me wait around for them to give me my truck because they couldn't find the keys for the truck in front of it. Then the lady just put the keys in the ignition and gave a vague explanation of how to load the trailer. She failed to communicate that I had to take pictures of the uhaul before.
LEILANI BNot to pick at everything but the unit I rented was missing one windshield wiper blade, associate that assisted me in checking in did not advise me where my vehicle was parked. Not to mention vehicle do not have full tank.
Raul NThe person helping me was on the phone 98% of the time/interaction. They were too busy on the phone and felt dismissed.
XITLALIT HThe inside of the window wasn’t washed. I had to put air in the front right tire on my trip. Other than that it was very nice. Upon return the male attendant was rude re vacuuming out the dog hair in the cargo area (dog was kenneled) he eluded i’d be charged and I let him know that I had specifically called about that and I was told not to vacuum that they would do that and he would Not be charging for doing his job. Everyone else was amazing. I would use U-Haul and recommend U-Haul

MICHAEL OEngine light on when started engine . Rubber door lining hanging off way too much steering wheel play. At end gas attempt was $31.00 more requested but u I showed the photo /and miles on my cell phone taken before I left the lot.. the person marked it wrong!! When I went to look for truck… on lot, I had to match the license plate… license plate on rear and hard to see and find, as all trucks are backed up to each other They use to bring it out! Bad service!!!!!

FELIPE MThe only issue I had was when I did the online pickup they couldn't find the keys to the truck I was assigned. But the employees did everything they could to get me in a truck and on my way. The customer service was great! I will be back in a couple days for another rental.
NICHOLE YThe counter personnel were great! Very helpful and courteous. The lady helped getting the trailer on and secure, made sure that lights worked and all safety items were on. When I returned the gentleman helped me remove the trailer and checked me out of the system. Will be recommending this location anytime! thank you

RICHARD FThe guy from which was dropping off the trailer didn’t even try to help me take the trailer off. It was later when I got a call from El Camino and I had to ask the other lady for help and was really nice to help me. The other guy should have offered the help in the beginning.
ALVIN MWhen picking up trailer everything was great but when dropping off, horrible. Drove up to return trailer at about 4pm and waited for someone to come out to direct me where to go. No one showed. Waited for about 10 min. Walked in and one employee (girl) was on her phone texting and was avoiding eye contact with me. No, greet, no “we’ll be right with you” or anything. Other employee was helping customer. So waited until it was my turn. So told the guy that I was there to return a trailer and he just looks over to the girl and says trailer. The girls could have helped me the whole time with the return.
HARRISON LI drove 11 miles, put in 1 gallon of gas, and they are trying to charge me for an additional 1.70 gallons of gas!!!!??? So almost 3 gallons of gas to go 11 miles?

RICHARD RThe only had one agent helping all the customers in line. Seems like they could have more agents available to check out vehicles. The vehicle was not in good repair. The driver's side wind shield wiper would detach and become inoperable after the wipers were on for about 1 minute. Thus, when it was raining and the wiper detached I would have to stop and re-attach. Very unsafe in my view. Also, the passenger side mirror would not stay adjusted. Over time it would rotate downward so I could only see the ground on the right side of the truck and had no idea who was in the right lane beside me. Extremely dangerous situation that should not have happened.
SCOTT FI had a confirmed and guaranteed reservation (YOUR words, not mine) and yet when I called at time of pick up with a question I was told the trailer is not available and they didn’t know if it’s coming or not. I had never received a phone call or email ahead of time and even at time of pickup the guy didn’t know anything?! Then the scheduling lady called me and told me I can drive an hour to pick up a trailer. No apology, no ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ nothing expressing ANY kind of empathy or wrong doing. That is absolutely unacceptable. It’s definitely the last time I rented at U-haul. If I cannot rely on a confirmed and guaranteed reservation then clearly you think your customers are not worth your time. That’s fine. In that case you’re not worth my money and time.
JUDITH WThe entrance needs to be kept clear of cars that are parked in the rental return getting propane. There is not enough room to come in with a huge truck when cars are going around it and stopping

PAXTON SI feel that it was unfair to be charged because our local UHaul in Fort Bragg wouldn’t let us return the trailer that we rented in Stockton and had to return to Stockton. Loved the trailer. Did not love the bill for something we couldn’t avoid.
NANCY KFocus on the customer. The lace was not busy and yet had to wait 20 mins before they can hook up trailer. The person that helped me had the time to talk to another coworker outside (approx 5mins) before he helped me hook up. Return was worse. I walked in and 3 employees conversing and did not acknowledge me. I had to say I am returning a trailer and the lady pointed to the other register . The person then said just backed it in where you got it and and your good to go. I had to back it in at a tight spot and unhook myself. So much for customer service.
RAYMOND NThe manager on site and all of the staff were very professional. U-haul’s system was completely down from 8ish to 9:30ish and they were still very courteous and patient with all of the customers.

I had a storage with another company but it didn’t work out so when I returned the van I rented I still had boxed items that were large and heavy that I needed to be out in storage. I had no idea that a conversation would lead to just the blessing I needed. The manager was very sympathetic to my situation. He made it possible for me to store my items and get the assistance needed to do so! I can’t even express my gratitude! I’m so very grateful for his kindness, I wish I knew his name. Everyone was really great to me but the manager was the one who really went above and beyond and I appreciate him and everyone there.

Lusma M | Overall ExperienceWhile the staff and facilities here are great, I have misgivings about suggesting a rental vehicle from this location. Today, I was rented a truck for a one way 400 mile trip that had a retread tire affixed in a steering position. This tire failed at freeway speed on the 99S fwy halfway into my trip nearly costing me my life. I would have said that I trusted uHaul equipment but that is no longer true. If there is someone on staff that makes decisions like these, please ask them if they would have put their loved one into such a situation. I'm sad because I've always trusted uHaul and furious that I almost lost my life moving someone else's stuff. Waiting on a narrow shoulder for help that came quickly was nerve wracking as there was very little room to stop. I was grateful they came and serviced the damage within 90 minutes. It was hot and I was severely dehydrated. Lastly, uHaul asked me to tow a car tow which we considered but am glad we said no..The day would have been Much worse.

Also most times I went over the last couple years cars were always blocking the gate due to lack of parking. Although I will say the day I emptied my locker out and closed out the facility was the cleanest I have ever seen the grounds.

The only reason why I still use U-hual self storage and truck rentals is because there are no other comparable convenient options that offer the same services. I have had so many problems with the quality off service at multiple locations the absolute worst was from the management at the Mid-city Fresno location and the manager Tish at your Lodi, CA on Cherokee Lane.
