They gave me the wrong truck. And I approved everything not realizing that they gave me the wrong truck until I brought it back. They were trying to charge me more money for a different truck and it was incorrect not a good time they had to figure out what I owed and what was going on why I was given the wrong truck.

I was given equipment that was not suitable to full a vehicle up and down many 6% grades. The breaks could not withstand the weight of my load. Id expect uhaul to know what is safe instead i faced failing breaks and shot out roaders for most of my 600+ mile trip the breaks werent stopping me on down hill grades and the truck was shaking very bad. I was accompanied by my 14 year old daughter. We were terrified. I was offered no discount no apologies. Worst experience ever.

Equipment return attendant should communicate with customers instead of ignoring them if the attendant is busy.
I would prefer to have at least a 1/2 tank of gas when I rent the uhaul truck.

Get more people inside to help, I was pressed for time and the wait time was slightly unacceptable.
Due to COVID, I was hoping the staff would sanitize the cab of the truck for me. The inside of the truck felt dirty, and the previous client left a used mask on the dash. Lucky, I brought cleaning wipes with me and sanitized the cab.
My equipment was clean but not safe. I had to call uhaul for road side assistance for which My breaks werent stopping me going down miles of 6% grades and sharp curves and were violently shaking the whole truck. I have never been more terrified in my life. The mechanic sent to help said the truck was to small to be used with a trailer pulling my suv and that uhaul should have known that considering i was set up for a one way from California to oregon. I was offered help but id have to sit in a parking lot for a day and a half. I was not offered any further help no refund or even a discount. I have always used uhaul but after this I don't think i can. I am so disappointed in uhaul. $1400 to be scared to death when i should have felt safe... Not to mention My 14 year old daughter was with me... Had she not been im sure i would have let myself panic and possibly crashed... Praying dor 3 hours straight was all i had to hang on.
Quick and attentive, everything had covid protocols that made me feel safe and secure in these trying times, very respectful staff and equipment was well maintained

Everything was great
Everything was just fine until the representative had me walk to the truck i rented sat in the truck while i was outside in the pooring rain while he finish my transaction on his phone.

After hours check-in was poor, but that is the company's fault, not the location. Could have better lighting for safety and security considerations.

Customer service was amazing from reserving a last minute trailer with Chris all the way to the checking in and out my rental. Everyone was truly helpful getting me going. The deserve a secure area for being in the location they are. Very unfortunate when you have to deal with people on the streets causing problems and fires.

I scheduled a rental at 10:00 am on December the 27th. got the confirmation e-mail, but when i did the online check in they changed my pick up time at 13:00 and when i got there to pick it up i had to wait another 30 mns because there were no trucks available.
I was charged .79 cents per mile when my contract states .39 per mile.
