Train staff I was waiting for 50 minutes to get the equipment, standing in line. When it was my turn, I went to the counter and the person ignored me. He said he couldn't find my reservation and then a new one came in. A young woman and he started to flirt with her, asking for her personal number while I was still waiting for my device. In the end, he put insurance on the device. I didn't ask for it.

DONNELL TThe customer service at this location was extremely awful. I tried to raise my concern to the General Manager. I was directed to an individual who claimed he was the general manager. I expressed my concerns to him, and his response was extremely unsatisfactory. Here are the specifics of my experience. I reserved online a 6x12 utility trailer with a ramp at the Lodi, California location. The evening before my pickup, I was called by customer service and notified that the equipment at the Lodi location had mechanical issues and not available. I was advised that the Stockton, CA location had that specific utility trailer. (The Stockton location is a 30 minute further drive for me than the Lodi, CA.). Even though this would be an extreme inconvenience, I accepted the reservation modification to pick up at the Stockton location. One hour prior to my scheduled pickup time, I received another call from customer service, notifying me that the 6x12 utility trailer with a ramp was not available in Stockton, because the equipment was not returned by the customer. (I understand that Uhaul had no control over this situation). I once again accepted this mortify reservation, even though the pick up location was 30 minutes further and I now had to purchase ramps for me to utilize this alternate equipment. Once I got to the Stockton location to pickup the equipment, I inquired about possible remedies to help compensate for me having to drive an extra hour and me having to purchase supplement ramps to utilize this equipment. As I was inquiring about possible compensation remedies to the Stockton clerk, the individual working at the next window who identified himself as the General Manager ask me if there was a problem. I suggested the following remedies to help compensate me for this extreme inconvenience I was encountering. I asked if I could return the equipment to the Lodi location, or maybe receiving a complementary insurance coverage. His response to both of these suggestions were absolutely not possible and abruptly ended our conversation at that point. To me his demeanor was "Get What You Get And Don't Throw A Fit". In the past 30 years, I have exclusively utilized U-Haul dozens of times moving items cross country and have always received stellar customer service, so this makes this experience extremely disheartening. BRENDA BWhen I arrived to pick up the car hauler trailer I was informed after uploading my selfie pic and drivers license front and rear pic that the trailer was not available. Claimed the trailer had been stolen. OK so I asked what about the $50 guaranty Uhaul claims they will give you when you secure a rental online and show up for the rental to not be available. The manager made a call to a customer who was running late on a return and bottom line I had to wait about 30 minutes for a vehicle hauler trailer. Not the worst thing in the world but not $50 I was guaranteed either. The trailer worked as it should no complaints there. Not crazy about this location and it's policies.
ANTHONY BI wanted to join the Uhaul University and was towing and practicing on the rental. However you have no towing classes for us and would sign up. I seen a driver with a trailer that didn't know how to ride a 22 feet trailer and accidentally hit a car. Furthermore the driver took off in Stockton leaving the vehicle damaged on the side of the road. I was checking up on the guy to see if everything was all right.

Also I turned the trailer in less that one hour after they close (which was due in approximately 20 hours later) and was charged $20 After Hour fee. Extremely disappointed!!! Not good business for long term customers.

Mathurin LBusy location depending on the time of day and the day of the week. During reservation and pickup, personnel were helpful in understanding our needs and navigating the process. We also found some moving supplies, for example blankets, less expensive compared to Lowes and Home Depot.

Pail CI rented a appliance dolly, and when I got there, I was told that there were no appliance dollies, and I don’t understand why I did not get notification of this so I can go to another facility and get one and then they wouldn’t even work with us and accommodate us by giving us a regular handtruck free of charge they made us pay for it which I think is total bullshit Not willing to work with us at all. They were very rude.

I called Uhaul logistics/scheduling weeks and days well in advance to try to confirm in-town pickup without success. So what? …..I had to pay $44 for an Uber to go out that far from my town just to pick up the truck and there should be compensation for a large order like mine.

JERRY JI was very upset I had to drop off the equipment 40 miles round trip when a full UHAUL facility that is a mile from my unloading location. When I dropped off the trailer I was told to pull to the end and someone would unhook me. There was a guy just standing there doing nothing while I unhooked the trailer myself. I'm 79 years old and you would think I could have got some help to unhook. This is the second trailer I rented in the past two weeks and the first time it went very smoothly bot at the pick up and drop off. It was the same trip as this trip. I got a call from you corporate that insisted I drop the trailer off 20 miles away. I thought maybe it was because it was promised to someone else at that location but I was told when i dropped off they did not have it rented to anyone else.

I had a storage with another company but it didn’t work out so when I returned the van I rented I still had boxed items that were large and heavy that I needed to be out in storage. I had no idea that a conversation would lead to just the blessing I needed. The manager was very sympathetic to my situation. He made it possible for me to store my items and get the assistance needed to do so! I can’t even express my gratitude! I’m so very grateful for his kindness, I wish I knew his name. Everyone was really great to me but the manager was the one who really went above and beyond and I appreciate him and everyone there.

Today, I was rented a truck for a one way 400 mile trip that had a retread tire affixed in a steering position. This tire failed at freeway speed on the 99S fwy halfway into my trip nearly costing me my life. I would have said that I trusted uHaul equipment but that is no longer true. If there is someone on staff that makes decisions like these, please ask them if they would have put their loved one into such a situation. I'm sad because I've always trusted uHaul and furious that I almost lost my life moving someone else's stuff. Waiting on a narrow shoulder for help that came quickly was nerve wracking as there was very little room to stop. I was grateful they came and serviced the damage within 90 minutes. It was hot and I was severely dehydrated. Lastly, uHaul asked me to tow a car tow which we considered but am glad we said no..The day would have been Much worse.
