Michele BerryThe equipment that was "guaranteed" was broken when I arrived for pickup (it wasn't checked beforehand). The replacement was much harder to load/unload which put us way behind schedule and forced us to pay for an extra day of rental even though it wasn't our fault.

The people we spoke to on the phone and in person were knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. U-Haul could cut back on the email and text communications as it was excessive, in our opinion, but at least they communicate.

LARRY BROWNIt’s not the fault of the store employees but the check in and check out link is less than impressive. The store employees apologized several times for the inadequacies of the Uhaul link. In addition, I did not like being pressured to use the link to check in or out. If you don’t use the link, the fine print says you’ll be charged $20 for in person check out.

Robert RodriguezAssociate was very prompt in checking truck and car hauler in. The issue was when calling road assistance when truck stuck in driveway. Uhaul quoted price before ever calling wrecker service. Road side assistance or both insurances I took out did not cover a hitch getting stuck and needing to be pulled out took less than 10 min. Also once we went to Uhaul to return truck they tried to charge $450.00 instead of the $415 they originally quoted before calling wrecker service. Unfortunately bad customer service and experience. I would def not recommend. When you have worked in customer service in many different positions for well over 20 years this is not how you treat your customers.

Rex-Marcus McCallThe overall drop-off experience was miserable. This location listed was different from the original location; it was only after I called and talked to five different people that I ended up at this location. I was not given an exact drop-off location when initially renting the trailer. Instead, I was instructed to call a number to schedule a drop-off location upon arriving at my destination. The initial drop point I was given was 409 E Walnut St. Troy, AL. After driving to that location to drop off after hours, it was discovered by my wife and me that it was not a UHAUL drop-off point. It was a worn-down storage facility with no security and no UHAUL equipment present. After calling back and explaining this to the individual at UHAUL on the phone, they told me to drop it there anyway. I told them I was uncomfortable leaving it there since it had no UHAUL resemblance. I was told there was nothing more they could do. My wife and I investigated and found the actual UHAUL location 1.5 miles away with the same name as the storage facility on US 231 in Troy, AL. This had every piece of UHAUL equipment in their lot. However, after calling a third time, I was told this place was "red," and I couldn't drop it there. If I did, there would be a $500-$1000 charge for the wrong location. The lady gave me an alternate place almost 45-60min away to drop it off. Again, telling me there is nothing more they can do. I finally conceded and accepted another location in Enterprise, AL I had to visit the following day. Horrible process, especially when I am short on time from the military to drop my daughter off at college. My wife and I made five calls that night, totaling 2 hours on the phone, speaking with the most incompetent people imaginable. Thanks
Scott MarkWe had a new lady helping us and she did great. We had to change over the rental reservation to a different name because my husband had to go out of town unexpectedly. She made sure we were all set and had everything we needed and never got flustered. Great location, plenty of trucks and easy in and out.
Charles SteddumI’m having an issue with this fuel charge. My guaranteed reservation was canceled twice and I never said anything or even asked about the $50 that was supposed to be given for the reservation. I had to change my plans TWICE because the GUARANTEED reservation was canceled and had to rent a trailer on the original day of my reservation to be able to at least move some of my stuff. So with the 2 canceled reservations on U-Hauls part that should equal $100 someone can take the “$60” out of that and refund me the remaining $40.
Joshua ElliottWonderful location!!!! I wish I remembered the staff members name that helped us. His daughter was the one that gave us the knowledgeable briefing about the U-Haul services at the fair. The staff member also does wonderful artwork where he buys used things & makes new varieties of useful unique things. See him to get his Tiktok info.
