When my unit was broken into they did nothing for me because they said there was no evidence of a break-in but I had the lock that was cut there shouldn't have been any other evidence. When it came time to check out I needed less than a week to be out had to pay for an additional month then was charged anyway after I removed myself from autopay and still waiting for the funds to be returned

The storage rooms outside have wood around the walls instead of metal and as long as I have been renting I’ve never seen a like this. Wouldn’t that attract more bugs, insects, rodents. I hope not because I would dislike it if my items are destroyed. My clothing and all. When did Uhaul start using wood in units?

A good day of moving was over shadowed by some major damage to several items. (Water and mold damage to where it had to be disposed of since it was actually not reparable or salvageable. That was an unfortunate $1,900 issue with extra trips to the unit and the non repairable personal effects that were trusted to U-haul.

Stop the practice of double charging for a daily rental. Was charged another $29.99 be cause the truck was returned 2 hours past 5pm. Truck was picked up at 9 am. Can understand the charge if the location didn't have equipment to rent and another customer was waiting on the vehicle. There were 20 trucks to rent. Will not be using Uhaul going forward due to this business practice.

I needed my storage to be unlock after sending my key to California by mistake, they won't help me, even tho they had the means to do so, say it was their policy not not to open locks, but when they went into my storage without telling me, allowed strangers to remove my items, thrown them on a truck and mo e it to another spot ; I gues the policy did not matter then, because they refuse to help open my lock it cost me $450 , uhaul is the worst company, when they went into my storage and move my items, to another location they did not pack my items back, they just throw it in the new space like trash, breaking numerous items and refuse to pay, they broke into my storage and move my items without telling me, who does that to their customers

We got charged and didn't even get a truck. I have a receipt that was emailed to me showing I used milage and everything and we never even got a truck from this location. We used a different location. So how we got charged for something we never even got keys for, is crazy. But they insist that they didn't charge us!

The staff at the location failed to inform me where to get my dolly, therefore I didn't receive the $10 dolly. The staff also had me waiting in the cold weather waiting for them as the sign instructs the customer to "wait in the car for a team member to help them." Once I got out of my rental vehicle the staff laughed at me while I told them I was following the very sign at all U-Haul locations is the same apparently reading is hard for some folks. I am very dissatisfied. I will be moving my business to a business that values their customers. No more U-haul for me or my family!!!

I had a highly disappointing experience at the Raby Road location. The office staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, ignoring most of my questions. The general manager, in particular, was the most unhelpful and rude person I've encountered in customer service, showing no willingness or ability to assist. Based on this experience, I would not recommend doing business at the Raby Road location."

As you probably already know, your employees broke into my storage because you needed to move my items so they could relocate the unit. In the course of said action destroyed much of my personal property. This was admitted by the then manager of facility. I was told there is video of this, which I have not been able to view. It took months to get Rep Wests insure info. I turned in my claim for the damage and it keeps getting sent back asking for additional information I will complete thier request now that everything is out and I can get to it. Reputable companies

This review does not necessarily reflect on the current staff, but rather the overall experience over several years at this facility. When I moved out of my unit, most of the items in it had to be thrown out. They were contaminated with concrete dust from when the roll up door was replaced, or rat urine and feces and could not be decontaminated. While I understand that maintenance has to be performed at any facility, the two times major maintenance was required (elective door replacement and concrete work outside of my unit) were both scheduled events and ample means of contact were on file for me. No effort was made to reach out to me. The 2nd event resulted in a u-haul hired contractor drilling my lock and leaving my unit unsecured for what was later determined to be several months. The manager’s response was “what do you want me to do about it”. As a manager, customer service should be your primary goal. You should be offering remedies to what was clearly multiple errors and omissions on the part of your company. While you may not be personally responsible, you are the representative…the face, of your company. It isn’t my job to tell you how to do your job. The statement of “what do you want me to do about it” conveys apathy and no ownership of the problem. This was further compounded by dismissing my concerns by noting “well, nothing was taken from your unit”. The complete disregard by U-Haul for the security and care of items in my unit was the reason I vacated my unit. I have a unit with another local company that I have had for longer than the time I was with U-Haul. The level of professionalism received there is light years beyond what was received from your facility.

My unit was moved. They cut my lock off unloaded the truck bed I was renting moved it then repacked it damaging several item and just carelessly throwing things in. If I was notified of their intention of moving the unit we could have done this several different ways but the route that was taken damaged antique tables sewing box. Had a 30 pound heater stuck on top of a table it was just uncalled for. A simple email or text or phone call anything other than this.

I was told that the truck I rented gets regular inspections after each customer . When I was in the parking lot the truck front hood was lifted for about 20 mins no one looked at the truck hit for the mileage . A woman was there attending the truck but didn’t do anything physically to the truck to see if there anything wrong . No pictures were taken to show anything wrong and if it was clean . I would only recommend the storage units and not the vehicle until there proper inspections and thorough inspections thanks

I had a very good customer service experience at both the beginning and the end of my “stay.” Yesterday, when I went to move out, my storage unit was blocked by a trailer behind a parked truck. There were a couple of guys working in the yard, and they very cheerfully got the truck moved, and then moved the trailer away. Teamwork plus friendliness.

I got there and when I was greeted I handed the employee my phone which was my reservation email. For 5 to 10 minutes I was denied and told that there was no truck available eventually. Then I had to explain that I was renting a storage unit. Seem like the girl helping me needed assistance in every step of the process which made it quite drawn out. The only problem I had (which was a major problem that caused me to look for storage elsewhere) was that the uhaul website advertised this location as climate controlled, and it is not. The only concern I have is safety for my things because there is no gate and the other concern I have is that there are mice. My first storage unit had a ton of droppings in it and the mouse trap put inside wasn’t filled w mouse poison. The other unit also didn’t have any mouse poison in the bait trap. It was quickly rectified by your staff but I’m hoping mice do not destroy my couch and other items. Other than that the staff was really nice and inside the store was very clean.

She literally has to run to 3 different units to ensure I had proper size to accommodate my belongings. She was courteous and caring to ensure I had everything I needed. Honestly probably some of the worst customers service I’ve had. I wait for an hour and a half for him to help put a lock on my unit the lock he didn’t tell me I had to by when I came in 10am that morning as well as he didn’t give me the lock to lock up our truck. I had to come in a second time to get everything I needed and waited over an hour for something as simple as lock. I called earlier in the day to see if it was okay to park our uhaul there overnight which he agreed we got there and he gave us a spot then walked away came back two minutes later and said actually don’t park here they’ll steal parts off the truck and told us to park at Walmart even though he parked us surrounded by trucks and we called ahead to approve. End up being late to work when there was a 2 hour window; didn’t have anything I needed for the units; as well as the guy just being unhelpful

He started focused, kind, patient and professional. I was so impressed with his multitasking abilities. There was a young lady there training and she jumped right in and helped every way she could. We had some issues with the Ubox service from the beginning. A lack of communication from your team, 2 hours spent on the phone. Multiple different answer from ever staff member. It was exhausting.
