Why would you have a second floor of storage rooms with no elevator? Also…. Why would you not tell someone who rented a second floor storage without mentioning that so the boxes could have been packed lighter. This is a horrible storage.

My card was being charged and I moved out and notified the manager but the money was still trying to be taken out of my account luckily I keep my card locked.

Well he dialed it without telling me or asking if it was ok. She was in a meeting but answered. That was unacceptable and then he proceeded to “tell me “ that he didn’t need to ask my permission. Two issues, 1) poor training on communication with customers as he had 3 months on the job only and he had no business calling my wife without a heads up 2j requiring a 2nd number is ridiculous as you’ve already got my credit card, drivers license etc. it’s an insult that you are basically challenging that I can’t rent a trailer without calling a 2nd person. Poor business practice and if I hadn’t been on a timeline, I would have left. Finally, your trailer was a quick reaction away from a medical lawsuit as the spring loaded door didn’t have a “stop” and almost took off my friends finger when it retracted really violently and almost caught his hand.I pointed out to associate on return and he noted the lack of a stop and was going to address it.

WILLIE PThe equipment is fine, but there’s a real staff issue at the location. Every single time I go in, there’s a wait of 10 minutes—that’s really fast—to as much as 30 minutes. And, even though I complete the reservation online, with a pre-approved credit card, I still have to experience the excrutiatingly slow rental process. All in all, it’s an unpleasant experience to rent the trailer, but once I grind through the rental process, the equipment guys outside are efficient and friendly. Dropoff is easy too. I’d definitely look for another U-Haul location, but this one is very convenient, so I just build in extra time when I come here knowing it’ll be slow.

She was truly a blessing to me during a rough move. Being understanding and patient is a true virtue. I really hope many if not all employees mimic her work ethics and quality. If not she needs to be in upper management making changes for the betterment of the company and clients. Perfection at its finest when it comes to quality customer service.

TREVOR JI have dropped off here before, and the service for pick up and drop off was good. The truck that i picked up this time was dirty. The inside smelled like cattle. The glass had sticky stuff on it and was all water marks. The back looked dirty but it was just paint scrapped off.
Ismail KTruck was pretty beat up and the alignment was way off. I was holding the wheel at about a 45 degree angle from resting position just to drive straight. The lady in the AM was frustrated and not very pleasant. Maybe she is normally like this, maybe not, it was hard to tell. The office was busy and the gentleman working with her was not in the office, leaving everything to her, so I think it was pretty aggravating for her to be doing everything herself. I did talk with the gentleman who was working with her at one point, because I couldn't find the truck the lady had given me the keys to. Turns out they gave me the keys to the one truck on the lot without a serial number on it, while the gentleman knew it right away, the lady made no mention of this which had me wandering around for awhile. The parking for the truck was so tight I had to do a 5 or 6 point turn just to get it out of its spot. The lady in the afternoon was very sweet and pleasant!

Jahan ABetter customer service , the wait time in store was ridiculously long . They have a new process where they want you to take a picture of yourself and they have to call 2 references all just to use a U-Haul truck ! This location is slow unorganized and ghetto . The workers don’t want to even be there . Line was long and the truck I got didn’t have no dam gas in it like they told me . I was charged an extra $74 fee on top of the $40 I paid when I got the key. I don’t think I will rent another one again or refer anyone there .
AMBER BDropoff was quick and efficient. Equipment return wasn't registered in Uhaul system until I called 2 days later to inform them that the equipment hadn't been entered into system.
David KOur rep on Thursday was super helpful, getting trailer switched out to enable us to haul ATV. She helped us bypass a problem with the jack holding tongue off the ground. On the other hand, the guy who handles equipment problems was lousy, he made no effort to make a simple adjustment to get the trailer ready. We would otherwise have had to cancel the rental leading to big schedule problems.

SHERITA DThe person who checked out was not paying attention at all, over all it took her almost an hour to just ask for our name a drivers license info. I arrived at this location at 7:00 am and walked out of there at 7:54am while looking for the van. She told me that there was no location added to where I was going to drop off, so she told me to bring it back or call customer service to add a location. I told her I would just bring it back if that was the case, she said, "okay". No further instructions were given. The delivery day, I took it back to the location and had to download the app because it was not open, only to find out that I had to drop off to another location. I drove the van over there to the other location after I had taken it back to the primary location where I was told that there was no location drop off added. There was a second charge at the second location where I dropped off the van the next morning. I am upset with the overall experience from check out to delivery instructions.

JESUS VThe requirement of two people was inconvenient as on the website it said one emergency contact. Then, the one equipment I asked for was not there and they did not tell me. The third thing is you have to be careful with all the charges, I almost paid for mattress cover again when I already paid for them the night before on the app. Overall, the experience was okay and the employees were rushing the customers without checking. I have been using Uhaul for more than 10 years and this is the first time I experienced all of this.

ANDREA MI would not recommend you hold it all. Made reservation at one location was automatically moved to another location where the office wasn't even open. A call to the note on the door lettuce to yet another location so the 3rd location to pick up one trailer stop finally an hour late to pick up the trailer and we're told we need to provide two contact numbers for reference!! Clearly U-Haul has no understanding of what a reservation means you have a credit card so it's beyond me to understand why we need all these references and points of contact so so bad was the experience I have the need to rent yet another trailer tomorrow and will be using Home Depot. The associate at the first location on Jacinto Street is condescending and borderline rude as long as you have Associates representing your brand like this your service will continue to slip overall would never recommend you all to anyone for anything ever

They always have what I need when I need it. I drive quite a ways out of my way just so that I have no problems whatsoever and can get the job done quickly. I appreciate their dedication to servicing me in a timely manner. This location is the best in Houston!
JANETTE CI have rented from this location many times and never had a serious issue. My only "complaint" this time was the truck I had. It was a one-way that had come from Arizona. The suspension was bad and the steering wheel was very loose. An unexperienced driver would not have faired well with this vehicle. Additionally, their was a part missing on the back door which made it very hard to life and put down. Upon receipt of this vehicle from the previous renter, it should have been pulled and not put in the array of vehicles to rent. It was definitely a road hazard. Besides that, the staff was very courteous and ready to assist as usual. It's the reason I will always return to this location when I need a rental.

PENNY LThe truck engine light was on, the truck was shaking and would cut off every time I stopped at a light etc…. did call the store to ask for another truck and told I needed to contact road assistance so they could come out work on the truck. That wasn’t an option for me as I was on a time limit and needs to be out the apartment unit at a certain time. This also caused a delay in the time I turned the truck back in. I gave average because the person that waited on me gave good customer service but the truck was trash and actually the situation was quite dangerous especially on the freeway because the truck kept cutting off every time the truck sat idle in traffic etc….

The unit I originally booked which was a down stairs unit was already taken so I had to take an upstairs unit and the place doesn’t have an elevator which was a hassle. 2. I was charged for late fee’s when my account was on auto pay. When I contacted customer service and customer service contacted the manger she basically said she would wave my fee as a one time courtesy, which I think isn’t fair because if my unit is in auto pay and your system fails to recognize that, it’s not my fault. The 3rd reason is I moved out before the next time my bill was due. I did everything that was asked on the app for move out and a few weeks later I received a bill for my unit…I called no one answered so I called customer service a ticket was created. Few more weeks later I received another notice of being late and late fees. Now this is where I get annoyed, if your personal or Manager would walk the units and paid attention you would have seen my move out request. I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops for you to do your job. I would never rent from this place again but overal U-Haul was fine.
