I didn't need so many furniture pads so I would leave that as an option for people to choose whether they need them or not. I put most back in the container for pickup so hopefully they can be reused.

We drove 2 vehicles to Oklahoma from northern Ohio with 2 other friends to bring 2 antique vehicles home to be restored. After After several failed attempts to be able to pick 2 car haulers up from the same location to avoid driving too far out of our way, we picked up 1 car hauler from the S. Peoria address and the other from S. Memorial Drive. Check out at the S. Memorial location was fast. Check out at the other location was delayed as an employee there told us that several employees were just terminated and that since we paid cash for the rental, we would have to wait for the manager to be available as he did not have access to the cash drawer and other customers were waiting behind us. We were not sure why 3 phone numbers were required as there were already 2 previously provided. I personally didn't feel safe at this location as there people yelling at each other and talking to themselves. As we were leaving, my husband and I were confronted by a female in a wheelchair, who was also talking to herself who asked us if we had any money for her. After purchasing and loading the vehicles, we started our trip back home and spent the night at a pre booked hotel in Joplin, Missouri. We got about 2 hours away on I-40 East but the bearings froze on the trailer we rented from the Peoria location causing the tire on the driver's side to fly off. Luckily no one was injured and there was no damage to the cars or the vehicles towing them. A flat bed truck was dispatched to our location after I called Uhaul customer service and we followed him to a 3rd location to get a replacement trailer and load the car onto it. This greatly delayed our trip back to Ohio and we knew we would not be able to make it home until3-4 AM, so I booked the last 2 hotel rooms at a Super 8 in Plainfield, Indiana. I will be submitting the receipts to Uhaul for reimbursement as luckily we purchased the insurance for the rentals. We finally made it home to Ohio about 4 PM yesterday. We would like to give a special thank you to Rochelle at Uhaul for the awesome customer service.

The owner of this particular Uhaul location, changed my reservation... I had reserved for 10 hours, not 6 hours without my knowledge as well as the mileage from 50 miles to 30.. and is still trying to charge my credit card. This is not the first time I had an issue with this location. I won't use this location again. I will go to the 1010 memorial drive location. They are much friendlier... And I would've used them to begin with but they didn't have the truck that I needed. They also review your reservation with you to make sure you are getting what you're paying for.

There were many extra stupid fees charged above the $20 price. Its annoying you chatge .99 a mile and overpriced double high gas prices. I out gas in and I was still charged 13 for gas. I will never use UHaul again. The lady said it's fine she will f8x it and took my original receipt. I see my emailed receipt and i was n charged for gas and I wasn't told I was gonna be charged after I put gas or I woukd have went back across the street where I just got gas to put more cheaper gas in.

The employee working the counter that day was very nice! However, the truck drove very poorly and the driver side door only opened half way, so I had to squeeze in. The guy who drove it under the awning seemed surprised, not sure how he fit through the driver side - most likely climbed through the passenger side. For these reasons, I would not recommend renting from here.

The clerk told me to click for the insurance and I told him I didn't want it he said it wouldn't be a charge I said I see a 15.00 dollar charge and he said it just says that and it wasn't a charge it would be free so I clicked on it and when I returned the truck after only having it for one hour I brought it back 3 hours before I said I had it filled up with gas everything was in tact when I brought it back and the manager only gave me 13.00 back not my full refund because of the 15.00 insurance I was tricked into getting I tried to explain to him what the clerk said he just brushed it off and still gave me the 13.00 I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

When a customer rents a vehicle it should meet your standards! If your standards don’t include atleast a 1/4 of gas , consider changing your standards !

Tried to charge me extra, more than the accepted price online. Forced me to float the extra money until THEY could decide to accept the price in the contract. Said they'd resolve the issue within a day and never called back. I had to stay on them to get the issue resolve. Just terrible customer service and honestly unethical. Location had transients walking through the location continuously. Many of my friends and family commented on the lack of security. The inside was clean at least.

It was a problem that I wasn’t able to access my storage unit past the office hours. Not everyone has a job to where they are available during the day. Which I had to pay for another month of storage due to not being able to get my stuff moved into new place of residence. My stuff was moved out on the 11th but was still charged for another month. My rent was due on the 11th but due to not being able to get remaining items out of storage on the 10th because could not access unit after 7pm. Also called the after hours number and no one would answer! Also didn’t like that a lock was put on the door and a late fee charged on the day of due date.

If I could rate this zero I would. Absolute WORST customer service I've probably ever had anywhere. The Blonde woman with long ponytail and eyebrow piercing was completely condescending and had a miserable attitude and was rude every interaction. The woman of color who I'm assuming is the day time manager was also very rude and gave me a very hard time. I will NEVER use Uhaul again and I HIGHLY recommend a much more rigorous hiring process. Let's not even get into my filthy unit with a sticky mess in the middle of the floor and cockroaches crawling on the doors and floors in the hallway. The store front and units at 61st and Peoria in Tulsa Oklahoma are a complete disaster.

I called before I even decided to make a payment upon arriving the price was still the same however, the size did not meet my requirements. I explained beforehand that I had a king size mattress, box springs, king size headboard, a full size bunk bed and frame as well as two large U-Haul boxes and 12 small U-Haul boxes the size that I was offered for 74.95 plus insurance 82.90 was entirely too small it was half of my closet size not to mention they tried to offer a downstairs unit a smidget bigger for 154.95 that was a total inconvenience and waste of my money I spent paying movers and gas for transportation to have to find somewhere else to take my belongings and resulting in me asking for a refund. Thanks for the big inconvenience I. Don't even know why I called at 10:30 am the service I was given at 2:30 was as if I came in on short notice and not called in advance.

This facility is in a rough area of town with high security risks. Windows get smashed, people get robbed, people get shot and lots of gang activity. Not to mention the hours close sooner then listed due to the crime and area. I moved out over a year ago and when I asked how to close my account I was told to send an email which I did. It has been a year and several times I have called and notified that I left state and closed out before I left, yet you keep charging me. Everytime I talk to someone, they are new. The crime is so bad that staff don't stay long so obviously messages don't get passed down. I left my keys to my lock and everything when I moved in April 2022.

If you need help with movers I strongly suggest kmul movers. They can be contacted through U-Hauls app. They are the most respectful, price reasonable, attentive, considerate movers I have come across. 5 🌟 for them👍

Moisture in the unit. Paid for insurance and my mattress and other things were moldy. Manager told me insurance doesn't cover that. Basically wasted my money paying for insurance. All I wanted was my bed to be replaced and got nothing but a rude response. I'll never use uhaul again

When I first arrived, my $99.00 reservation was not honored. I had movers waiting on me so I had to pay $139.00 while no Manager was on-site to help the situation. I was also told that they did not honor the free 1st month rent after paying over $1400.00 for the truck. Then once moved in I met with Mark Hartley the manager who advised that the reservation that i I had was for a 2nd story unit He said i could move into a the 2nd story unit but the 1st story unit was all ready loaded. Witch meant that I woul have to pay movers again to move at my expense. I did get a free month rent for compensation for the mix-up. In April and in June I went to the storage unit to retrieve some boxes. The Air Conditioner was out and it was over 100 degrees inside the Climate controlled unit. I made it aware to the people working there and thy advised that the AC was broken without an ETA as when it would be fixed. This happened several times. On July 28, 2022, I went back to retrieve more boxes and found the Air Conditioner leaking and had another a 1/4 of an inch of water which had gotten under the door of my unit A4190 along with other Units as well.i notified Rita working jn the office. She advised that she had told Mark Hartley about this. So I came to the unit for what I thought would be a few minutes that lasted 2 1/2 hours soaking up water out of my unit with no help from management. Jim Smith was notified and finally Mr Hartley along with Rita came to help. I only received help after asking and the only compensation I received was another free month's rent. THIS MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE ERVER EXPERIENCED. MR. SMITH DID CALL ME BACK AND I ADVISED HIM OF THIS AND HE WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH UHAUL AGAIN AND WILL REFER ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO STAY AWAY FROM UHAUL. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. GOODBYE UHAUL!!!!!!!!!

Was quoted a climate controlled unit with a valid reservation number for 99.00. After arriving at 6105 S Peoria there was only one person working with absolutely no knowledge of Uhaul Storage and pocilicies. Was told that they did not honor the free one month rental and was quoted 139.00 for the same Storage room that I had a reservation for at 99.00 per month. After a brief phone call he advised he could Not help me that they did not honor the quote or reservation. I had movers standing by waiting costing me money and the person working with me left me standing there to serve other customers. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE COUSTOMER SREVICE AND I WANT SOMETHING DONE.

This was one of the worst experience with U-Haul, the people at the counter where rude, we had to stand around and wait would not honor the U-Haul website prices. They laughed in my face then literally told me that I didn't know "for sure" that they where laughing at me. Concerned about loosing my things or something "happening" to them if I go into greater detail. Spoke to someone at U-Haul which was very nice till she transferred me and I got hung up on... I should have used Penske they where cheaper anyway

This unit did not honor my 1st month room free. They did not have the room available the same as described on the app. They had attitude. The manager kept saying what he wouldn't do via telephone but made no effort to resolve directly. They said I could dispute with customer service. Customer service was not helpful and didn't care about when I told them in the future I would use Penske. My treatment was poor.

While the location of this storage facility is not ideal, the manager Mark is beyond helpful. I live out of state and I feel so much better knowing Mark is watching over things here. He let me know immediately when someone cut my lock off my unit. He sent me pictures to help me determine if anything had been taken. And he replaced the lock on it for me. All of this was above and beyond and so helpful as I was not in a position to come back to Tulsa at the time. When I did make it back to Tulsa he took the time to walk with me to my unit to double check everything was as it should be. What could have been a nightmare to deal with was much more manageable because of the assistance of the manager Mark.

My unit was broken into during business hours and the agent removed my insurance from my reservation without being asked to therefore eliminating them the insurance the agent remembered I should have had and I was told it was an error in their end and it would be corrected only to get a non sympathetic call from the GM telling me there was nothing to be done and it’s a loss I have to recover. There’s no security no one to run of solicitors sitting around watching you unload. Overall worst experience ever encountered I will not return nor refer anyone to this location.
