The s plaza trail location was great and a lot of help. I was very frustrated and if a trailer was available from a different vendor I would have went there. My original pickup location was an independent dealer who was rid and told me to bad we don’t do trailers and I was out of luck. Even though I had a reservation to pick one up there. I went to the s plaza trail location and explained what happened to her and she was wonderful and very helpful. I think if you have an independent dealer they should have to go be U-Haul standards to be a dealer. Thank god I was renting a trailer cause if I had a truck the mileage would have been added to my cost and I would not have rented for U-Haul because of it.

The right taillight for the trailer flickered when the brakes were applied. The assembly may need replacing. I have experienced the same issue with this trailer previously.

Parking lot was completely crowded. Could not get the truck in the parking lot. Tail of truck was sitting out on traffic until they could move things around. Otherwise they were very helpful.

While clean, the cargo area of the truck leaked. It was apparent that some maintenance had been attempted to fill a gap, but the caulking didn't stop water from getting in. A number of my boxes, mattresses and box springs were wet from the rain.

I didn’t like that I was told if I left the trailer after hours I to do some sort of clean in on line or I would be charged 25.00 I have rented trailers and trucks for years and they have always just cked them in themselves in the morning I don’t like your new system you’re making the customer do all of you job

I completed the drop off on your app but there was no drop box for key. Staff working said I needed to park in front of store, but there was no place to park in front of store. I had to wait on the street, then park and block other people from turning into location and then find staff again. Seems like there should be a better way to drop keys if you have returned truck on line (with all the pictures that are required). There also needs to be more staff - there was only one really frustrated employee working there.

I got my trailer wiring replaced from when I had installed at this location almost two decades ago. The service was quick and friendly but my turn signals do not work. When I picked up my truck, I hooked up my testing device and showed the tech that the turn signals are not working but he said otherwise. I just got home from work (1:15am) and hooked up my brand new trailer I just bought from Northern Tool. Night lights turn on and the brake lights work but the left and right turn signals do not. Now I have to get this fixed at a different location. Thanks for the inconvenience. It’s already challenging enough cause I work second shift and I have to do a drop off only.

Provide clearly marked parking for people waiting to rent a trailer who arrive at the reserved time. The service desk person was very efficient and helpful getting me a 5x8 trailer once I found a place to park.

The first trailer I rented had a warped axle or wheel. It shook my car like crazy. The local rep was able to swap out the trailer and get me back on the road. Second trailer was smooth sailing. Thank you!

Well, first of all had a reservation to pick it up at 9 o’clock and with the lack of help at that location I was still standing in line until almost 930 trying to check in. Then we go back to the trailer and the lights don’t work Courtney changed and then still don’t have the bottom lights working. When I got to the site to load everything up into the back The last folks that had it did not clean it out nobody inspected the vehicle or the trailer I should say, and it was a mess. There were blankets all over inside it was dirty. We had to clean the back out in order just to utilize it for our mattresses And other furniture. Was very upset with the way. It’s maintained number one. I feel I spent too much money for what I received.

My reservation was to pick up at another location. Upon arrival, I was told to contact customer service because the truck was not available. I then had to take time to go to another location to get the truck, and the dolly that I requested was not available. I lost about two hours of moving time because of this. The gentleman who work at this location are very polite, however.

The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and professional. Felt valued as a customer. Every one I spoke to on the phone was extremely friendly . So over all I am very satisfied But After I dropped the vehicle off after closing time I realized my husband's slides were still in the van.. I called the location and got sent to an answer center. That person assured me they would reach out to the store and have them call me back. I shortly got a call back and told they were there and we could come get them. So we go to the store and the man inside says uh? And heads to walk outside. He looks on this cart sitting out side and says they aren't there, that they were just there, and he has to wait for his coworker to come back. We wait. He comes back greets the first man. Makes an idk face and proceeds in the building. The first man seems confused and walks towards us. He proceeds to tell me he doesn't know where they are that somebody must have stolen them . And gives no other kind of resolution or explanation. This was very disappointing.

I ordered a truck and dolly 2 days early from the Princess Anne location for 10am pick up. A day later my pick up was changed to the ocean front location far from my house. I responded and requested a closer location. They changed it to South Plaza which was not too far away so it was fine. Half a day later, they changed my reservation to 1pm. Not a part of my plan that I made 2 days earlier but whatever. Then when I show up at 1pm, the lady told me someone was trying to take my truck, but she wouldn't let them. Thanks, I guess. Then they didn't have a dolly for me that I ordered 2 days prior. Definitely needed that but had to move everything by hand. I go out to the lot and there were plenty of truck out there including some that were the same size as the one I ordered. Doesn't make sense that I had to wait until 1pm and they had 2 days to get a dolly that I ordered. She had no concern that I needed it to move. U-Haul seems to be very good at taking reservations but holding them seems to be an issue, and that's really the most important part.

Either send the woman that helped me to "customer service" training or fire her. Rude, arrogant, explained everything so fast that I'm sure she is the only one that understands her. She also got annoyed at me and openly showed a irritated attitude for me suggesting to change the rental period from 2 hours to 3 hours after I was told so fast that I would be charged additional if my rental period went over 2 hours. Absolutely POOR customer service.

I came at the last minute with no reservations and Willie made it happen for me and got me a truck available to use. I’d recommend the U-Haul on South Plaza Trail to anybody who wants to rent something.

They were rude and they lied to me. We asked for a vehicle with a window on the side and they said they could only give us the next vehicle in rotation, which was simply the next key on the hook. We know this Because she asked the male coworker for the next key on the hook and started entering the number into the computer. They claimed we couldnt pick a different vehicle even though I had reserved prior. Then she was very rude and told us we could go look for the one we prefer and when we told them which one, they said that one was already reserved. SO mine was not reserved? or I was required to use only the one that was the next on the hook? She was very rude, she was mumbling under her breath negative comments about how we wanted to be sure the vehicle had a window. And who knows what else... She stomped outside and had a cigarette while the man fielded a phone call and my driver was looking for a vehicle with a window. The fielded phone call was another customer who was told his vehicle was reserved. Again, I also reserved the day before. The male employee was only slightly rude. Then in the end the vehicle (next on the hook) actually did have a window, they could have handled it so much better. The vehicle desperately needed to be washed and the mileage was off. I almost walked out when she stomped out, except I had already reserved with a depoait and didnt want to deal with undue charges or force a charge back. I didnt complain about the mileage, it wasnt significant. When we first entered the store, the counter was blocked by displays and we had to completely walk around about 20 feet in both directions to just go a simple 8 feet to the counter. It looked like their normal setup of display of boxes, hand carts and packing materials. What the heck is that? I will never use them again and I will be going to your competitor in the future.

Money was taking without my permission leaving my account negative and no money to feed my 3 kids. The storage unit was completely cleaned out and swept. Nothing left. The manager planted stuff just to charge money for no reason. I have pictures to prove I cleaned it out.

When we arrived to drop off items we were told they could not issue the storage to us because they were not cleared after sale of items. We were told to return the next day, but we both had work. As a result, we had to store the big truck at the condo community and head over Saturday. When we arrived, the staff did not know how to book storage, but took the time to call and find out. Not their fault, but a frustrating experience for us.
