Staff were nice but seemed frazzled. Busy location, staffing seemed low. Big facility- staff communication was poor. I was told to go to property back, waited and needed to call the location to have someone sent out to help. Staff are very nice

Dropping off was challenging, no directions on where to drop off equipment, tight parking lot
MIGUEL MThe UBox was delivered to the wrong location at my house. The 3 photos were ignored where to put the box on the concrete driveway.Tonya and her boss REFUSED to have the driver return and put the box in the correct location. We were forced to unsafely carry everything down 7 stairs in the front of the house. I am partially disabled. Horrible experience. ZERO stars deserved.
Jeanette SThe movers were helpful and great but had so many other jobs before that they got there 5 hours later than what was discussed. We had to upload from our second floor, had to ask our friends to help and then easy part of unloading to the first floor was handled by the movers. Again nothing wrong with the movers but I wished for more accurate information for their time. Which we were charged for 2 hours but they helped us for 1 hour.

There are several reviews on BBB website of people saying the same thing.

Christopher BMileage and gas was incorrect. Was not told that I would be sent an email or message to check that. Was given a paper stating the tank was 3/4 full and to leave at same level.After expecting the vehicle inside the cabin and the tires and sides I left. A mile or 2 towards my apartment I noticed the gas needle was not at 3/4 and the starting mileage was off about 10 to 12 miles. I took a picture with a time stamp at that point which I showed your lady manager at this location. She was rude and was not having it. Not much of a people person . I called 1800 number and let the know what was happening. The manager said I picked up truck at 3. The lady on the phone said I picked up at 334. The photo is time stamped at 347. I was going to dispute it but they ended up lessening the mileage and was only like a 2 dollar difference which is ok. What is not ok is this vehicle was not properly checked in previously. There was some straps in the back of truck which I had not seen. I turned them in along with truck and wanted to make sure I was not charged for them.also.i side the cabin the survivors were all broken and beat up. Before I left I spoke with the gentleman who rented me the truck 1and he said I would not be charged for 11 as 1he knew that they were in that condition. I would like to say that the gentleman who rented me the truck did a great job. He was efficient and courteous and was happy with me because i had already done everything online which he appreciated unlike the customers that were in front of me. I have used u haul dozens of times as I have moved alot and never have had an issue. I love your company. Manager not so much. Have a wonderful day.

DIANN RReceived a call early in the morning of my reservation before they opened. They left a message. The person was mumbling something like we had to find a different store while another woman screamed at her in the background. I called back and of course they are not open yet so it just went in circles. Finally they answered and the rep said sorry that was my boss screaming at me because I was wrong and we have the truck here. I said I hope so because that’s what a reservation is for. We arrived the rep is nice but I have to ask several times to speak up because they seemed to be wispering for some reason. We finally got the keys they say the truck is down that way and over this way. I guess this has changed because U-Haul used to bring your truck up for you. We go back there and can’t find it. I ask the rep to show us the truck. The rep rolls their eyes and the manager says what do you mean you can’t find it. It’s the only one back there. There are 40 plus trucks back there. The rep walks us down and points it out. The rep goes inside and we walk to the truck. It is not the truck and it is not the only one down here as the manager stated. Overal just really bad customer service that starts with the manager on shift that day. I will not if it is the last thing I ever do rent from that U-Haul again

J OI rented a cargo trailer on Friday, 4/4/2025, around 3:30 PM and returned it Saturday around 1:30 PM. After I dropped the trailer as instructed, Travian told me he would email me the receipt. He never did. On Sunday, Sawyer called me to ask when I would return the trailer. I told him I already did. He said he would check around and call me back. He never did. On Monday, I went to the location to pick up the return receipt. Sawyer charged me for 3 days. That is two days of overcharge. I told him to check the security camera recording to verify. He said he can't and will not reverse the overcharge. He was unprofessional and downright rude. I went back on Tuesday and got the overcharge reversed. Amy, the owner/manager, wasn't much better than her employee Sawyer. I would never go back to this location. I will go out of my way to give them a bad review. Professionalism and Customer service are not spoken at this location.
TAMMAM KMy experience with Ubox exceeded my expectations. all the uhaul employees I interacted with both in person and over the phone were excellent. I moved 2500 miles across the country and nothing was damaged! everything was on time. this was a very cost effective way to ship furniture compared to competitors (this was 1/2 the price of using pods!)

Additionally, I understand that there will be new employees learning the job, but they had no support and it took about an hour for them to set up my reservation, which they also got wrong. I am patient and understanding, but this move was an ordeal for me.

LAMONT LI was overcharged for gas and communicated it was incorrect with the staff several times. They said the link I received when obtaining the Uhaul would give me an opportunity to dispute it, but it clearly was not effective. I was then charged for 2 gallons of gas and shouldn’t have been. Still waiting for that refund.

It needs signage and designated parking 2) I was rented a vehicle with a burned out rear left turn signal 3) days after my Rental the app is still sending me notifications to return my vehicle, on the correct (past) date, but at an arbitrary time. 1pm instead of the 6pm I agreed to. 4) the people at my rental location were good. They just have a buggy app and a lawsuit-waiting-to-happen parking lot working against them.

graciela g | Overall ExperienceThe containers were kinda a nightmare. When the driver dropped them off he said they might be hard to close because the boxes are on a slight incline, boy was that an understatement. The amount of time it took to finally get each container door closed added a whole other level of stress to an already stressful move. We needed a car jack to close one door because it sagged so much, and then I had to throw a rope over the other door and hang off of it while pushing because it had the opposite problem. Then when they arrived at their destination, and nobody anywhere along the line told us this, but they put a screw into each door to hold them shut, which I didn't see until after about 10 minutes of trying to get them open, thinking they were swelled shut from the rain. And heads up, they'll charge you a cleaning fee if you don't fold all the pads back up and leave them neatly in the container. Luckily I learned that by chance, when off-hand I asked one of the phone operators about the pads, as I was trying to get a refund for some moving supplies I ordered off their website, which were never delivered. So kinda skeevy to not tell us about that beforehand. The drivers were nice though, and at least they were on time.

THEN after strapping everything back down, we head to the front office to see if I needed to do anything additional to the online move out process. At the front office a 4th Karen was standing outside watching us like we were gonna try to dump it again. 🙄 I went to talk to her and asked if I needed to do anything else other than the online move out and she proceeded to tell me I can’t dump furniture back there and said everything the other 3 Karen’s were saying. I told her I was not there to talk about dumping anything. I’m here to ask about the move out process. We listened the first time the lady told us. No questions asked or complaints were said. We apologized and said we didn’t know and went on our way. Everyone needs to get their panties out of a wad there. Now when I first got my storage, the people were SO SO helpful. I wish I could remember their names. And the site was very clean. My 3 stars can vouch for the first employees that set me up and the cleanliness of the site.

joan a | First ImpressionsI had a storage unit i reserved almost a month and advanced for a relocation move from North Texas to Austin. When i got to the facility, they did not have my reserved unit available. I do feel a courtesy call would have been appropriate because then I could have proactively made other plans for my belongings. When we got to the facility the first employee who helped us was not very informative or helpful, we could tell she just wanted to get everyone out of the store as it was nearing closing time. She left me multiple times to assist other customers while she was in the middle of assisting me first. We ended up getting a storage unit (after my reserved unit was "not available") that was way too small and had to come back the next day to get a different one. Again. After that initial experience I wasnt very confident in the service we would be getting from this particular location, however I was definitely proved wrong by the general manager, Frances. She patiently listened to me as I explained the situation, and despite being extremely busy, she actively called multiple locations to inquire about the correct size unit I needed as well as to find the best pricing. Ultimately there were no available units that were the size I needed, so I had to go with a much larger sized unit that was going to impact my monthly budget as it is about $60 more than what I had planned on. Frances was able to refund me a little money to help me with the next three monthly payments I will have to make for the larger unit, which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Despite all the hiccups that I had trying to nail down a storage unit for this big relocation move, Frances helped me get it done. I appreciate everything she did for me, and her work ethic to provide quality customer service. Despite how insanely busy they seemed, she kept calm and collected and treated customers with respect and kindness. Thank you Frances, you definitely deserve a raise!

The first staff member that assisted me wasnt very helpful or informative, and I ended up getting a unit that was way too small. However, the next day the general manager was incredibly helpful. She helped me fine a bigger sized unit. Unfortunately it was a bit more expensive than what I originally made the reservation for, but I appreciate all the effort she made in helping me secure a unit big enough for my belongings after a long relocation move. She even called around to multiple storage unit locations to try to help me find the size unit I needed with the best price. She was apologetic and patient, which I am most appreciative for. Despite all the hiccups I had with the reservation, and the first lady who helped before who wasnt very helpful, she more than made up for it with how helpful she was.
SARAH P | First ImpressionsI don’t like rat poison and I don’t want it in my unit but they put it in there and told me I have to keep it and now I have to go back and take it away. It’s inhumane to animals to die if poison and I love and I try to make sure they all die in a way that’s humane if they have to die and I also do not eat animals. I can spray my unit with bitter apple spray to deter the animals which hopefully will keep them out without killing them. I’m allergic to rat poison probably because I’m allergic to lots of things. I don’t want to get sick. My unit is in an indoor climate controlled locked building and I don’t think rats are in there. They said they’re outside in outdoor units. So I do not need the poison. So I took off one star for that. The rest of the people that helped me were nice and the process was smooth. I liked Tamara. :) She’s really friendly. :) But I’m worried about a little bit of rough housing her husband did to her and I don’t know if he likes to hit her for real or if she has to deal with domestic violence at home if he hits her at work as a joke in front of customers (not hard, but playful, but she was still not prepared to be hit by him because she didn’t expect it and it traumatized me when I saw it because I am actually a survivor of domestic violence.) She seemed ok but I can’t really tell if she is okay or not. So I took off one star for that potentially abusive situation because I like Tamara and I feel she deserves a safe work environment where no one will just randomly hit her whenever he feels like it. That’s a hostile work environment. Which is illegal and harassment of her. Plus it’s bad for abuse survivors like me. It should be safe for her and me. I guess there’s things I can do to help her if it escalates in the future so I’m not a bystander to violence so I’ll be watching and offering my help. The domestic violence hotline I use to process my trauma that she or anyone else who works there can call is called CARDV and is 541-754-0110. It’s open 24-7 and us open for 20 minute calls to abuse survivors. She said something about her hitting him and the kids at their home so he feels justified hitting her at work. That’s what she said his excuse is that he tells people at work why it’s ok to hit her. I don’t know if she actually does violence at home or if that’s a lie her husband is telling to get people at work to go along with him hitting her at work but if so she and the kids need help. I was beaten a lot as a kid at home by a woman who was nearly able to murder me and female abuse is just as bad or worse than male abuse. So yeah I’m upset by the situation with the domestic violence at her work and home and I need to help her and the kids not be abused by the husband who I saw hit her at work. You can assist her by forcing the husband to stop hitting her at work and then give her the domestic violence hotline to get help and if she’s able to tell you about any violence or trauma the 7 kids are enduring you ought to try to call child protective services to see if they can give the family more assistance like parenting classes so their kids do not grow up with PTSD and seizures like I have from the trauma of the abuse. I now have to live with it for the rest of my life because no one came through to help me when I was a child. CARDV is not mandated reporters so they cannot take children away from anyone. They are a nonprofit organization that helps abused people process their trauma or escape abusive situations. CPS basically never does anything about anyone when you do call because they said that there is a certain level of violence that is acceptable but I think no level of violent activity towards children is acceptable because it causes unnecessary pain and suffering for the lifelong journey of that person who got hit. But just in case they do want to offer non violent parenting class and if they want to take them it would be good to call them and get Tamera’s family involved with a helpful social worker. I sincerely doubt they’d try to take away the children or do anything like that because they just don’t care enough to do that. A good start to non violent parenting is to compare the Power and Control Wheel (emotional abuse leading to physical abuse) with the Equality Wheel (treating adults as equals with respect) and then adapt the equality wheel to children. Still treat them with respect and don’t physically or emotionally abuse them but you can be the leader and guide them through the things they need to do. By following the books like 1. Character Counts, 2. Leader in Me, 3. Strengths Based Parenting. Leader in Me is the kid version of 7 Habits for Highly Successful People. Basically it’s teaching kids skills in leadership and skills like patience and kindness every day. Then once there is a conflict instead of hitting them and shouting at them you can first listen, then ask them to remember the lessons in kindness or patience and ask them to practice kindness right now.

So the $69.95 was waived for the first month. Which is great. And I was expecting to invest $49.95 for a rental. The key pads even if secure are challenging to use. Having to exit the vehicle to swipe at the gate and two swipes at the door each time. One keypad was a little dusty and I had to swipe multiple times to gain access each time I entered. The moving in process was time consuming while maneuvering around others accessing their storage. Just some comments of the moving process. This is my first indoor rental and that’s how it is. No complaints, I got what I required and my belongings are secure. I’m grateful uhaul offers storage.

The storage units are below average and location of the entry gate to the storage with all the activity up front, vehicles being rented, trucks being returned, etc. makes it very difficult for entry and exiting to your storage unit. With so much activity up front makes it very difficult to get to your storage unit. Obviously, this is very good for your business but a pain for the customers trying to get to their units. Secondly your constant rate increase gave me no choice but to move someplace else. Our unit was infested with rats, all of my items, boxes, plastic containers were covered in rat feces and rat urine. They chewed thru some of my boxes and the smell was awful. I also have a climate control unit 10 x 20 gorgeous, meticulous and extremely clean and I only pay $130.00 per month. I have had it for 2 years now without a rate increase. Your facility definitely needs to be cleaned up and treated for rats especially with the constant increase in your rental rates. You should invest money into the storage units with all these rate increase.

Website states that this location offers "24 hr extended access" which is why I chose this. Come to find out the extended access has to be approved by the facility.. you can not get approval if you are unable to get in contact with the facility. The amount of frustration, stress, time, energy, and cost, that I had to endure due to the aforementioned, was profuse. I spent over 7 hours (yes, I counted) over the course of 3 days either on hold, speaking to customer service or being transferred. 7 hours of my life I will never get back. 7 hours for nothing, because like I mentioned, I have still yet to speak with anyone from the facility. On top of that, I had to shell out several hundred dollars that I absolutely could not afford to do, to make other arrangements at the very last second. With the cost of everything, i would have actually saved money (and brain cells) had I have just hired movers. I consider myself to be a very understanding person, I know businesses get busy, things happen, but that does not excuse the horrible experience that I had to go through. I wish I was kidding when I say that this literally almost triggered me into having a mental breakdown. Moving is already stressful enough. I have used uhaul every time I’ve moved which is quite a bit, thousands of dollars I’ve spent over the years, but this experience has left me so disappointed that I will not ever use U-Haul again. I wholeheartedly hope to God, for the sake of other customers, that you guys get it together.

Because of the time at night had no other choice but to use it or have to pay movers again the next day and find a different storage facility. Went back to the front desk where employees were to get the climate controlled unit I had booked, they said none were available larger than 5’ and there was no elevator access or ground level access. My things are currently sitting in over 100 degree weather, I paid $100 of movers time waiting to get access to the unit and I am absolutely LIVID my things are sitting in this heat. Getting things out as soon as possible and NEVER using Uhaul again or recommending. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

It would be nice if it were 24 hours, there are cameras to assist so I don't know why this cannot be an option.

NO WHERE on the site did it say I would have to wait 30+ minutes to have the unit made ready upon arrival. NO WHERE when making the reservation for the unit did it show a photo pf the actual unit. I was HIGHLY disappointed. The staff is miserable, unfriendly, and has zero idea on how to staff properly or communicate with customers. From the initial signing of the paperwork and getting the card access thingy to the final call to confirm I had a zero balance and was moved out, this location is subpar. I've been inside the office 6 times total and every time there was a line of customers, no one greeting people, and staff unhappy. Once an employee (with a neon green and blue wig on) was cussing in the store to another employee. Its the closest Uhaul for rentals for our company so we will keep coming back for that... Unless we find another moving truck place but the storage lasted less than a month and we moved it out. It was not good.

When I went to pick up my belongings on the day I was moving to my permanent residence, many of my boxes had gotten wet and there was evidence of rodent droppings as well as insects inside boxes that had gotten wet. I had to come back three times to go through and salvage what I could, transfer to other boxes, spray for insects to ensure I did not transfer to my new home. I ended up throwing out four large trash bags of my things that were in questionable condition. To ensure I was not bringing insects into my new home, I had to place the boxes I did keep and transfer to new boxes, in my garage and use an insect fogger 3 different times until there was no sign of insects. I was a loyal customer but would never use this location to store anything ever again.

Amazing Customer Service. The best part of the experience was the trailer itself, it hitched on the back of my truck and was smooth sailing the whole trip from Florida thru major storms along the way. I was even able to take the trailer up to 80, 85 and even 95 MPH. Solid.
