Access for boat storage is poor. I often had problems with trucks or trailers blocking the entrance or alleyway preventing access to my boat. That is why I cancelled. Also you are charging sales tax on boat storage which is illegal. Boat storage is not subject to sales tax in Texas and I would appreciate a refund.

On more than one occasion I waited for service for more than 20 minutes when there appeared to be a person available to help. And then when being helped, there was a mild abrasive ness that felt off putting. I hope to never need to return to this facility for any reason. Best wishes, Jeffrey

Stephanie J | Overall ExperienceMy experience with the staff was good. However while I was moving in, the building was locked at 5pm and I was unable to complete my move in. The hours stated I should be able to access my storage unit until 10pm. However I could not. No one answered the after hours number and no one responded to my voicemail. I had no where to store the two trucks worth of furniture I had with me.
Chantelle S | Online Move InThe staff was phenomenal actually, but my stuff was RUINED by the rats. I had to file a claim with my renters insurance and I’m not even sure they will cover it, so I’m out way more money than I paid to store my stuff there. Super frustrating with the whole experience unfortunately.

I do recommend checking the storage door latch & door for sticking or issues with opening; please report concerns to the office so they can address them. My latch was a bit rough to open. I am very impressed by how helpful U-Haul has been!

Unfortunately I was not informed and did not pay attention to the fact that access ended at 10pm and had to reschedule a flight due to being unable to unload my things. An oversight on my part for sure, but I would recommend having that explained as part of the check in process to ensure smoother transitions for people who might be slightly sidetracked.

I basically had to repeat everything that I had done online previously to reserve the unit and Reserve a trailer, I basically had to duplicate everything when I arrived at the facility because the agent said nothing was showing up in the computer so either the person online didn't do anything or the person in the office didn't know how to use the computer system or the data system, or what to do, costing me about an extra hour overall, which was a inconvenience to myself and the people I had with me that we're going to help.
