MANUEL SSentí un poco de rasismo cuando llegué dije que quería rentar un dolly y la persona que me atendió me dijo que no tenía ese equipo disponible allí sin nisiquiera mirar el sistema así que me dijo que en la colfax había uno pero cuando llegué allí me dijeron que habían 3 disponibles en la habana asi que volví y me atendió otra persona y lo pude rentar sin ningún problema . No sé cómo se llama esta chica que me atendió la primer vez solo vi que recién se hizo un tatuaje en su brazo izquierdo .pero sentí un poco de racismo en ella no recomendaría a ningún hispano venir aquí .aunque los camiones y equipos son excelentes

ABDIMALIK OAbi is rude dismissive and a complete liar! I rented a dirty truck that didn’t start! Then I was given another rusty dusty truck that was not updated in Uhaul system. She never took the time to add the truck and print out the new contract! The miles were not updated and thankfully I took pictures and was honest about the miles I drove, because Abi had the wrong mileage in the system! As I returned the truck I left a black notebook in the passenger side door. Called and asked if it was clean out yet to get it. I was told I would get a call back. Never received one. I was told the truck was cleared out which I know it wasn’t and my notebook was gone. Abi was very dismissive and rude. I was very upset and irate at the lack of communication empathy and respect for me as a customer. I have never had any issue with this location…Abi also allowed an employee to curse at me and laugh it off. Very disappointed in the management and team!

JOHN PThe vehicle was on the low tire, I talked to an employee, and she told me she had nothing to do, which was for me to go to the gas station and calibrate. This is not my job, I paid for perfectly working equipment and I don't have to do maintenance.

Price was super competitive, peeps were professional and friendly and communication was perfect! Stuff arrived safely with very little effort!

DAVID BMy furniture was already wrapped in pads that I had purchased three years ago, so I did not need the pads that were included with the pods. We left them at the U-Haul in Aurora , and the gentleman said that he would make a note in my paperwork that I did not take the pads.. so I would not be charged. However, when we got to our new location, that note was not in any of the paperwork however, the people in Chicago were very nice and did not charge us for the missing pads that we’re not really missing they were just never sent with us. Other than that snafu everything from the site was fine.

Kara TNo recommendations for the experience at the U Haul location(friendly and helpul staff!). I do recommend that trailers have large stickers placed on the back to alert other drivers that the trailer goes a max of 55. Twice, I had 18-wheelers nearly rear-end me and a third honked his horn for a while, I think annoyed that I was not driving faster. I drove 55; I had a long 10 hr drive and decided to drive the last 2.5 hrs with the hazard lights on, so that drivers were aware that I was going slowly.

THELMA BI asked about the tires when I picked up the trailer and they assured me they were good. Hell no I blow one tire and another one was bad had to have two tires replaced on the road The pricing was very high for the quality of equipment I rented There are other companies that rent trailers and I will be looking into them for my next rental I feel I should have gotten a discounted price for all my troubles. I will not recommend U Haul to anyone.

NATHAN FThe truck had several maintenance issues. Rain water leaked into the truck damaging some of my property. Pickup location was moved 30 miles away an hour before I was to pick up the truck even though I reserved the truck 2 weeks prior at a closer location. The whole experience with U Haul during this move was not good.
Rosemary BCheck-in for grabbing the truck couldn't have been easier. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. The truck was clean and easy to maneuver. The only issue I had with the truck was the passenger-side mirror, which kept wiggling out of place as I drove. Check-out was easy as well. My one issue with it was that I returned the truck with double the amount of gas I left with (fyi - round trip for me was 20 miles and I only used 1/16 of a tank - I gave them more than a quarter of a tank for free), and the gentleman checking me out indicated he'd give me a credit for that as well as the untouched blankets, which I ended up not needing. In the end, no credit was given for either, so that was disappointing. Other than that, I'd recommend this location to others for the swift and friendly service, and the reliable equipment.
