I made my reservation on 4/23/2021 for a 26' truck at a rate of $800. When I was told the truck was not available that I had to drive to Aurora, I was told the rate was $959. I asked about and was told the rate changes daily. The rate at the time of reservation should be the rate I pay. How do I apply for a partial refund?WILLIAM H.

The truck had low tire pressure and it blocked the odometer. So the final reading came up to 200 miles for a 38 mile total move out of storage to our new office. Fortunately that was adjusted. Also my brother got all the emails for my reservation and rental so be aware that he thinks either uhaul or me were trying to steal his identity. Since I haven't talked to him since he moved to Texas 4 years ago by uhaul I thought it odd.JOHN L.
We were sent to 1801 S Havana Street and tried to do app to check out for 1/2 hour The app then told us to to go to 615 S Havana. No Uhaul employee had showed up at the 1801 location and we left at 9:15AM. This was not a pleasant experience. We lost an hour of time in the process.EDWARD L.

The location was fine. The personnel on both the phone (Denver area) and at the site were polite and helpful. The only problem I had was with equipment supply. For a couple of hours, I was told that I would need to drive 6 hrs round trip to get a truck before being redirected to somewhere closer. I still had to drive an hour round trip to get the tow dolly. I was given credit for the additional miles, but I was not offered a discount for the inconvenience.JEREMY T.
Took in my 2019 escape in to get a tow hitch. Set up a appointment the day before. I showed up and they couldn't find my appointment. The manager Rick said we will what we can do. Took in my car to the bay and put it on the rack before I left thought ok. 7 hrs later they said it was done. Went to pick up another trailer from another u-haul company and found out they wired my car wrong. Took it back to the u haul that installed everything and Rick gave my mom a aditude because we need it fix that day. Again they took the car to their bay and started working on it right away. Didnt bother to call us when they finished it again. Only reason I knew it was done was because I showed up and asked for my vehicle. Then to top it off they wired it up wrong again and the wire harness was pulled out because of road and how they placed it on my vehicle. Now I'm stuck waiting at another U-haul in washington been waiting to get another wire harness put on. Been waiting for more then 3 hrs to get back on the roadJUAN F.
Their rule about having to phone someone you know before renting a truck so that you won't steal the truck from them is juvenile and incredibly patronizing. That's what they pay insurance premiums for. And they don't tell you this until you're there to pick up the vehicle they let you reserve without telling you that someone will have to â€œvouchâ€ for you or they won't let you use the vehicle. I got there during lunch as scheduled and my friends are busy and not aware that I would need them to be by their phones so UHaul could â€œcheckâ€ with them if they thought it was ok to let me pay them to use their vehicle and not steal it. How insulting! Next time I will know that UHaul requires this and will go rent elsewhere.Lisa T.

I returned my truck over a month ago and they called me today asking if I needed more time with it.... charged extra money to card etc. How this even happens is beyond me. On top of all this, they had problems with their system when I was picking up my truck. Waited for about an hour with a single person in front of me. The guy had the nerve to yell that their system was down and we should leave if we didn't want a long wait. Not a single apology. Just. Pay the extra money and go to penske.susan F.

This was not the location that I originally wanted to go to. This was an extra 20 minutes away from my apartment. The staff at this location was great and very friendly. The truck smelt like marijuana but other than that it was clean.JAMES M.

I was able to book a location online that was less than half a mile from my house. Then I received an email saying the pick-up location had been changed to this location 5 miles from my house, which was not only an inconvenience but also added to the mileage costs I had to pay. When I showed up, I was asked for a secondary contact and then told that person needed to be contacted in order to confirm their information immediately. I don't understand why that couldn't be handled when I made the reservation rather than taking valuable time from my wife and me on our moving day, for which we had a tightly packed schedule. Additionally, I had reserved a furniture dolly, which the site did not have available at the time I arrived. When returning the truck to U-Haul, I was behind several other returns yet was told I should leave the truck running and the attendant would get to it after taking care of the returns in front of me; that lends itself to my fuel level being lower than what I returned it at and is also terrible for the environment if it's occurring regularly. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I wish I had used a different location.CORY G.
