COREY SI’m just bummed out because I’m already kinda stressed out about moving because I’m doing most of it by myself, already broke as can be from moving expenses, I rented a truck, and it had clearly been vandalized, there was soda thrown all over the front of the truck, leaves stuck in the wipers, I couldn’t even see through the windshield, and to top it off, after dropping it off 12 hours early I was charged another 300 dollars without notice of any kind, and after contacting support I was told there was damage to the top of the truck, I know I didn’t cause this damage, but how do I even prove that now? Just bummed out that I got slapped with this.
Bret WThe manager (Katelynn) was great and very helpful but the man who helped us with the truck was nice but not helpful. He didn't show or tell me how to turn off the tow/haul function (had to look it up) and he didn't share the code for the letter lock so when I returned the truck after hours I had to put the dolly in the cab since I could not lock the truck. Also the self check out procedure for after hours returns is awful: the process is so poorly designed and not intuitive that I returned the keys before I could take the pictures exactly the way the process demanded and if the pictures aren't to the exact specifications, the website will not allow you to move off the page. I did contact the after hours number for this specific location and Katelynn was very helpful. Just to be clear the after hours self checkout is not the fault of the employees but I still want to warn the next person since it's such a mess.
Jacquelyn BWe said that we live in Winnemucca and wouldn’t be traveling back to Reno. The guy said okay and got us the car hauler trailer. Well the following day we went to return it to Winnemucca and was told it was supposed to be returned to Reno! We had to pay for their mistake which was $239.13. We are trying to get it fixed but we’ve gotten nowhere other than a ticket in hopes someone responds. It’s frustrating and time consuming.

She was clear, concise and ensured all customers in the area were addressed and told when they would be taken care of, even while dealing with a difficult customer. She was excellent.

I needed help moving and she took the time to explain my options and helped me navigate the U haul app and find 2 guys from a local moving company that came out to my old apartment that morning and loaded my uhaul van and unloaded the van at my new apartment that same morning. The moving helpers were awesome too.
ARTURO HI have used this U haul location many times. I was told their computer was not working when I checked the equipment in, and was told as soon as it was I would get the receipt by email. U haul contacted me that I never brought the trailer back. I called U Haul Northern Nevada and they were unable to help me on the phone. I had to go back to the drop off location. I located the trailer on the lot took some pictures of the equipment # and told the people what had happened. They verified the trailer # and then checked it in on the day I brought it back. It was a bit of a hassle and a waste of a couple of hours of my time, but it worked out.

CHRISTOPHER CI arrived to pick up my rental with the app and found the truck I was assigned boxed in, as in there was another truck parked behind it, and I could not pull it out. The 'chat with a representative,' function directed me to a different truck, which did not exist in the lot. So, I then had to ask my team, who were standing by to move our office, to wait for an hour until the UHaul office opened. As I was already delayed, I did not open the back of the truck when I was finally able to pull it out. The equipment (furniture dollys) that I paid for were not in the truck. The staff on site that I spoke to were very helpful in get my rental out from behind other vehicles and getting a refund for the missing equipment. But the remote-use "app" seems like it needs some work.
Alain PKaitlynn- the manager at S Virginia St. Reno location is AMAZING! She handled a busy phone with ease and with exceptional kindness, while there was a line of customers and staff pulling her in different directions. She didn't show impatience or stress. She demonstrated friendliness and professionalism with so much going on around her. PLEASE GIVE HER A RAISE!!!!! UHAUL IS VERY, VERY LUCKY TO HAVE HER AS AN EMPLOYEE. What i saw in this young lady was extraordinary and in customer service, she showed top tier excellence. Uhaul should be very proud of Kaitlynn!!!! I was so impressed.

LINDEN SPick up time was over 1 hour, the vehicle windows were complety frosted/ frozen over requiring 10 minutes to defrost. Fuel level I was told was inaccurate by 1/8 tank (I took pictures before departing and after I had added 2 gallons of gas, total mileage driven was 13 miles). on recieving my receipt, I was charged $30 fueling fee and $30 for 6 gallons of gas. I did contest the $60 in charges and received $60 credit back to my charge card. I will not be using or recommending this location ever again.

MICHAEL RI stopped by this U-Haul location when they were clearly short-staffed, but Caitlyn was absolutely incredible. Despite having to multitask and manage a busy store, she remained pleasant, calm, and professional the entire time. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of without making me feel rushed. She is definitely a diamond under pressure and an outstanding employee who deserves recognition!

CHRIS HOn the cargo van. The left rear blinker and brake light was not working possibly the light bulb needed to be replaced. They did not have a mechanic on duty to fix it. So I had to drive it that way.

KIMREY KI’m not sure. I was the only customer, so there shouldn’t have been any excuse to them being busy, they had plenty of staff, seemed knowledgeable, but everything went wrong after I left. Might be the U-HAUL system, I’m not sure, but it was ridiculous.

DOMINICK GNever. Not only was the U-Haul dirty, it did not have the Equipment I ordered. When it broke down, I waited hours and hours for help. Then when I went to the location to discuss my issues- the cashier/worker had no clue what I was talking about. He literally handed me the 1-800 number and told me to ‘call corporate’

EDWARD ANot even the windshield was cleaned, the Trk-Body_had 8qty unmarked damages, lazy yard guy_could not use the tow dolly caddy_to bring it over to the trk(which should have been already hooked up per reservation. @ 1st entrance to frwy_1(one) of the tow-dolly "lock-in pins"_had NOT been set/checked_and ramp came-out_dragging+blocking traffic. Subsequently, the tow dolly safety chain (passenger side) had BOTH an undersized anchor bolt installed; not even a washer, instead at leas 1 size smaller bolt, with ONLY a self locking nylon nut_which fortunately pulled out_only 20 miles from final drop-off_in W. Sacr. ( had to unload_fix the bolt with a double locking bolt + washed with Red_locktite. Fortunately, I upgraded to the 26' truck_ as the significant rutting of the NV-side of the Tahoe Hill_would have been a catastrophe_ with the 15' or 20'. The BOLT Fix_ was "self performed_as I BOTH had a suitable "temp-hardware fix"_and AGAIIN, had this breakdown_in front of a self-storage unit ... I believe the manager_was a left-over _from the dinosaur Epoche ! ( Veloceraptor-shooting venom ! ) No idea_why the refund on the Tie-Down strap extensions + fiberglass tap_took 30 minutes @ W. Sacr_ ultimately ... left + summarized the transaction correctly @ Your Broadway location.
GARY BEveryone was SUPER helpful and friendly. This was a last minute need, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They got the trailer hooked up and got me on my way with no fuss. Great experience.
FRANK VThis is the worst Uhaul I have ever been too. Everytime it is easily a 45 - 60 minute wait. What is the point of a reservation when you have one person behind the desk helping a line of 10 - not only was this poor girl working the line, she was also the individual who had to go get the vheicle, while 3 other people were wandering around the lot. Couldn't these people be aiding the people up front to provide a modicum of customer service? Does Uhaul even know what the concept is? This company and location is an absolute joke. You continuously put more an more "work" on the customer -take a picture of your drivers, license, take a picture of all sides of the vehicle, TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR FACE??? Are you kidding me? You can't train a person to verify identity of a human standing in front of them, nor give the customer the option to OPT OUT? Do you seriously mean to tell me, I can board a plane within the United states and beyond and the TSA agent can verify my identity against my boarding pass and a drivers license, and I can't rent a trailer in my home town without this? This is an absolute joke. Shame on your business practices. God forbid you train your people, or offer them incentivizations to stay. I heard 4 people in front of me have to take out their vehicles with a 1/4 tank of fuel or less. further wasintg their time just so you can rip them off when they inevtibly miscalculate how much fuel is left, thus resutling in you screwing them over even more. If you're going to put more and more on the customer, how about you just put self checkout kiosks, and put even less responsibility on the low skill individuals you hire to simply pull around the vehicle and or hook it to the trailer. I will never rent from this company again.

STEVEN SI thought I was overcharged. The van had not been vacuumed; the passenger side mirror was cracked impeding visibility of traffic; I brought the van back with a quarter tank over amount required and the attendant said I owed 3.50$ as I returned the vehicle early! I am embarrassed for her for not yielding to the customer as I asked and disappointed at her mannerisms.
