The truck was not clean in the back had grease and oil on the floor. As a safety issue the cab windows were very unclean and this was a safety issue the visibility of the operator.

The air conditioning was completely out in this crazy heat. On top of that they told us bc of that they weren’t going to charge extra but ended up charging us an additional $50 so it cost $245 to rent the truck for one day when it’s advertised as $137 FALSE

The people and equipment are top notch. The actual LOCATION (as far as ease of access and position amongst traffic) leaves much to be desired. Again though awesome people and VERY well maintained equipment!

I was assigned the wrong truck which then took me over an hour to leave the lot. The truck was filthy inside and out except for the back of the truck. Th re manager said someone will clean the windshield which was still dirty after. The side mirrors were filthy and weren’t cleaned. This original truck I was supposed to be assigned in the contract said it was on a full tank when I got the secondary truck.it only had 3/4 but no one did a new contract with the correct information. The inside was dirty with whatever had gotten in from it being parked under a tree I assume. So after over an hour there to pick up the truck which I had already d

They need more people here on the weekends takes too long to check in and get your rental. Also leaving with a truck with1/8 tank of gas is too little. Barely can get to a gas station then you want it back with 1/4 of a tank Really?? Who wins here Uhaul!! Will never return to Spanish Springs again. Way too far even with the credit wasn't worth it.

I rent from U-Haul several times a year and have been for 14 years. By far, this was the worst experience I’ve had with U-Haul. Upon leaving I submitted my pictures to the U-Haul site, when I came back to return the truck, I was told that I had to pay for damages I didn’t do to the U-Haul. I went back to that location and the manager had taken a pic of the U-Haul that was blown up to see detail. Her argument was ridiculous. I went outside and took more pictures with my phone and the results were the same as the pics I took before leaving. I know that the damages, if any, weren’t from me and not one picture I took, before or after, showed any damage to the U-Haul. I felt very disrespected by that manager who doesn’t know anything about how to treat people or how to do her job. I’ve had more trouble with this location than any other U-Haul location I’ve ever used. I have to find another location to use or another company. I’m very disappointed

Thank you for the excellent custom service we received. Katelynn was very proficient in a busy time and helpful and friendly. Ray was very helpful and diligent in hooking up the trailer. Aida was very helpful in helping me secure a second rental in short notice right before closing. Jorge was joyful about his job.

Pros: very friendly/personable staff with great customer service and good energy Con: very unorganized. It took over 45mins to pick up our reserved truck because “there was a broken down truck blocking it.” And then we were given a truck with an EMPTY fuel tank. This caused us to be late in meeting our movers. Furthermore, we ended up leaving about a quarter tank of gas when we returned because how do you plan perfectly to return an empty truck?? We also witnessed another customer was handed keys to their truck that was parked behind several other trucks. We both had reservations, so it would seem like these things should have been worked out ahead of time.

Nothing to improve, you guys were amazing and made it as simple as possible. My Enterprise rental vehicle broke down and they literally left me stranded and abandoned and forced me to leave your trailer a state away from where I was suppose to drop it off. I called your support, and within 3 minutes the situation was taken care of and you guys were able to pick up the trailer and drop it off for me. You guys have amazing support, they deserve a raise!

Terrible location. No organization. Horrible customer service. We waited 45 min in line because there was only one person working. We could not find anyone to hand the keys to when we returned the truck. The truck ran like crap and smelled like burning oil. Absolutely horrendous experience and will not recommend this location to anyone.

Great overall experience. The pickup and drop-off process was quick and hassle-free, and the equipment was clean and in excellent condition. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer my questions, which made everything easier. The location was organized and efficient, which I really appreciated. If there’s anything to improve, maybe just a bit more signage or guidance for first-time customers during drop-off would make it even smoother. Other than that, everything was handled very well. I would definitely recommend this location and would use it again in the future.

There is nothing I can think of that could make my experience any better. I'm bad with names, but the team member that checked me in and out was amazing! She is very good at her job and deserves recognition for it. The guy who hooked up the trailer was great and made sure everything was in order as far as it being secure and making sure all the lights worked. You have some top notch team members working at this location. I will always use U-HAUL for my moving needs, especially this location.

None of the equipment ordered was in the truck. When I reserved the U-Haul th confirmation said all equipment would be in the truck. Upon return of my rental the U-Haul employee said the fact that I ordered online is why it was not in the vehicle for pickup. The U-Haul was basically on an empty tank of gas when received. The employee said the homeless must have siphoned the gas. Very disappointed with the service overall.

I have rented from this location many times and I've even considered not renting from you anymore because of the previous crew that worked this location. They were rude and not very personable or professional. When I rented from you this time, I had a way better experience and the rental went smoothly. I would like to add that it seemed as though you were short staffed because the waiting time felt unreasonable, but overall I will be back to give you more business. Thank you

The lot was pretty full of U-Haul trucks and trailers. There were a few people in front in line, but service was easy.

On 3/29/26. I waited in line for 5 minutes and the front counter advisor stared to take my information and then said "I have to go, they don't pay overtime." It was 12:45pm- he said the next person would be here in 30 seconds. He walked away. The outside employee came in and up to the desk and said he could not work the counter. Another employee came in and asked if I was being helped. I told him what happen and he said he was not due to start until 1:00pm. He and the employee from outside checked the schedule and realized no one was scheduled from 12:45-1:00 PM. The employee waited on me rather than have me wait in line. He was very helpful. I had a different truck than my paperwork and the door lock on the driver's side did not work. I said it was fine. I started the truck and it was on E. I had to get another truck. I did not leave the until 1:45 PM. I got in line at 12:15 pm. The 2 employees were very nice. It was clear there was not enough staff available.

only One person checking out a line of people out the doir. It took an hour and a half to wait in line. same understaffed issue to return the truck next day. Long line, 1 staff only. I ordered and paid for equipment to be in the truck - nothing was there. Hire more trained team members.

The truck was a bit scary on the freeway. The steering was extremely loose and it tended to wander. Bumps in the road made the wheel jerk and it was challenging to control especially at 55 MPH. Windshield wipers were useless.

Check trailer wiring fuses in rental trucks, so when people purchase new expensive trailers they don't have to drive home for 4 hours in the dark without trailer lights working! (Not safe and a liability) Also, check tire pressure so the rental truck doesn't have 45 psi in 3 tires and 25 psi in 1 tire (not good for handling, gas milage or tire wear)

This is the best UHaul location in Reno, Nevada. If you are seeking short-term, or even long term storage, I would greatly recommend the UBox. Upon opening my box, everything was in perfect order.
