I don't think they could improve. Each time we went there, they were efficient and helpful. The multitude of times we went was not because of them, but rather for extra trips to pick up supplies. The appointment for picking up the trailer was met with no problems. Also, they installed a hitch which was done on time and went well.

RYAN RAdvertins the loading width on your ranp trailers. If they are already listed, I missed them, so please make that more clear or more obvious.
JAMES CHire more personnel. The poor guy had the phone ringing off the hook and customers building up and he had to use his personal phone to upload pics but it died from so many customers and had to charge it while I used the app. And he was the only one authorized to do certain work such and propane etc.
CODY FMake sure all damages are accounted for before renting it out. There were 2 damages on the cargo van that were not marked. I had to report it to the staff..also cargo van was not clean.automatic door lock didn't work had to use the passenger side door lock to lock all the doors. Overall van ran very well.
SHEARL CReturned the truck after closing. The Uhaul app did not work for returns. Spent a half hour trying to get it to function and gave up. Very frustrating.
TRENT MJustin and his team were doing their best with what they had on staff. Seems like they’re running on a skeleton crew and somehow are keeping the flow going. Kudos to this team. Get them some extra help to make it easier on them.

JULIE DThe truck I received we didn’t get to walk around because they were super busy. I was charged for different things and now I’m confused. Justin W is awesome. But this place can use a few more folks. My truck was banged up and no one noted the damage with me before leaving so I took pictures of all the damages before taking off of the property. Didn’t help out much as no one did the walk around with us.
daniela jManager here found the issue with no brake fluid immediately and was thankful i didn't lose the trailer, or worse, because of the poor maintenance from the pick up location.

MERIDEE WWe were greeted when we came in. I had it set for online check in and it wouldn't work. There was a man that was training somebody to clean a truck while everybody was waiting in line. Since my online check-in was not working. I also had to go wait in line. Customers should come first. He should have asked me what my problem was. When I was parked in my car right next to him?I'm trying to get my truck. They should acknowledge you at least the very least when you pull up. He is the same person that was obviously forced to deal with customers and do my check in.
JOYCE PYour U-HAUL app needs a little updating. It could be a little more user-friendly. I wasn't able to complete my online order. The system wouldn't scan my driver's license. I was forced to stand in line in order to complete my rental contract agreement.
Ruben MI somehow mistakenly set my pick up for this location. I rent frequently from the Oddie blvd location. It's hard to believe these two locations are the same company. There wasn't nearly enough staff, they seemed confused about how the self guided pick up worked and the truck clearly hadn't been cleaned by either the previous renter or the U-Haul staff. The one and only person at the counter with no visible help was doing her best and it clearly wasn't her fault but from a customer perspective, it wasn't good. I lost more than a half hour picking up which may not sound like a lot but it was nearly the difference between finishing on time or having to extend the rental another day. In the future, if this is the only location available, I'll extend my plans to avoid it.
Andrew VI like the ease of reserving a truck with them this is a large location that has all you need on site including trailers and trucks. We had booked a truck at another site as we were moving things out of the storage center right there, this would save on the mileage. Yet when we showed up they had a hand written note on the door that they were closed (staff shortage) and we ended up picking up at the Virginia St location, adding several miles to our cost. Additionally we have two charges to our card and the $19.99 truck is close to $90. (We put gas in on our own as well) so now I need to make a call to find out why our card as two separate charges on it one for $21 and another for over $58.

thomas SA busy location that does an excellent job of getting rentals out the door. They also sell a lot of moving supplies. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
JOHN DNot happy with being told that gas level was ok at time of drop off and then getting a 50+ dollar extra charge on the final receipt. I asked at drop off it level was ok or I could take the truck a couple blocks away to fill up gas. Other than that, all good.
EDUARDO AKatelynn was amazing. She was the only one at the counter and managed everything beautifully. She's an asset to the company!

KAREN HMelanie was fantastic. She had a long line and was the only one working the desk. The customer before me in line was a bit complicated yet she stayed calm and professional. She was very memorable. I remember driving off telling my husband she was really good at her job.

ROBYN GI reserved a 15 ft truck online for the S Virginia Reno pick up location. 2 days before pickup, I received 3 texts and emails that my pick up location is now in Carson City which is 30 minutes away. I went to the S Virginia, Reno location 2 days before my pickup. I spoke with Justin who helped me secure a truck at the S Virginia location but instead of 15 ft it is now 20 ft. One of my texts said I could have a free upgrade. The general manager could not give me the free upgrade so Justin called it into the main office. Instead of me waiting, Justin said he would handle it. On the day of pickup at 8:30a, the general manager help me and said my 20 ft truck is not available and came in broken. You have to be kidding that there are no other trucks available. She indicated that someone left me voicemail and text that I did not receive. After 30 minutes, general manager did find me a 20 ft truck.
RHONDA LThe dolly was missing and the putting it in reverse was scary because it would vibrate and jolt even with barely acceleration. It also stalled out a few times and then started again while driving. Pretty sure this truck I had is in need of maintenance.

PAUL KI picked up the trailer (for uhaul) to take down to so. Cal. Your benefits for doing it was good. But they tried charging me, and ultimately wouldn't let me leave without running my credit card for $.01. That can't be right?! Anyway, good experience overall.

REGINA BI rented a U-Haul 26 ft to drive from Verdi Nevada to Lodi California when we went to pick up my furniture in Verdi to drive to California the roadside assistance needed to come and change the tire completely they gave us a 26 ft truck with a blown out tire and flat as can be thank God my son noticed it before we got on the highway after we put our furniture in it it was absolutely horrible then I bought or purchase moving blankets they didn't even put them inside the the U-Haul at all it was the worst experience I've ever had I don't think I'm going to ever do it again

LOUIS SRefund the damn insurance. You decide I need to not take risk like some damned woman, such as that damn fat Reno bitch, and the way that office is run; Reno people see woman this way I don't. Refund it, or I try to get the whole thing back. You can't just write up invoices for whatever happens to have turned out to be the case. YOU MUST KEEP TO THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AND YOU DON"T. If I find out you ran an insurance claim for this transaction, I will publicly out it.
Vincent SThe trailer was ready for pick up and I had completed check in online. There was no one at the counter when i arrived and it took several minutes to be served. On drop off, same scenario but took much longer. There were many employees but all seemed to be outside working on truckers & trailers. I finally asked if I could park it somewhere and complete the online return. The employees who assisted me were very helpful and professional.

Mario PUnable to get trailer I wanted, unable to make reservation on line. Took an hour to reserve a trailer. Had to wait in line at Uhaul business. Took another hour to get trailer. Trailer left turn and left brake light did not work. When I returned trailer early, lines at front desk and for returns. The next day I got a call asking if I had returned the trailer. I guess the trailer had not been turned in on the Uhaul computer system properly. I hope they fixed the lights on the trailer before renting it again. Need better, more efficient, reservation, office rental/trailer hook up and return system.
DANIEL DThe customer service lady was unbearable. Ignored us when we walked in. No, hello, no I’ll be right with you. Completely ignored and then walked away. We had to follow her outside to ask if we could just drop off keys. We called to see if it was done and were on hold 20 minutes with multiple people picking up the phone again asking what we wanted. Finally someone came back and said “it is done when you get a text” I told them my car was there at 8am, they went and checked and they said “yes your car is done.”
Ormond GOur first reserved a pickup truck and trailer from another location I received a call to confirm pickup, was redirect to this location to pick up the truck which ended up being a 15 ft box truck instead of 8 ft pickup truck then they did not have the truck at all had to go to another location to pick up the truck and come back to get the trailer, very disappointed

COLIN KObvious understaffing resulted in general chaos at pickup and drop off. Only 1-2 other customers were present at both times, but only two staff handling trucks everywhere blocking access, many trucks running unattended, systems down.
MARK MThis is the best UHaul location in Reno, Nevada. If you are seeking short-term, or even long term storage, I would greatly recommend the UBox. Upon opening my box, everything was in perfect order.
